Good if you looking for a swim in fresh water
Just a swim and at the end we did a walk. Not part of a tour but we popped in for a dip Water was refreshing and we spent a good hour just chilling. Not too many people which was good as we were on a cruise

          Beautiful day and beautiful scenery
Carolyn and Jo were wonderful hosts. We went on a quiet day and were made to feel very welcome and valued. All staff were friendly and helpful (the girls even went and fished out a pair of sunglasses that went missing in the river without being asked to). Such a beautiful property and a wonderful day. Highly recommend taking a dip in the cascades and a swing off the tree rope after the bridges tour!

A wonderful treat activity. The scenery was stunning, the bridge walk fun and the swim delicious. We were picked up and dropped off in Port Villa by the owner which made getting there easy. The staff were lovely, informative and helpful. Highly recommend.

The tranquillity of Eden on the River
During a P&O Encounter cruise we had the option given where and what to see and do and since we were at Eden on the River before and had a great time, why not, we went there again for a day. As expected, another great Eden, warm welcoming reception. Surrounded by smiling, happy people our rainforest like garden of Eden experience with a bit of drizzle from heaven did not damp nor disappoint. Still the paradise as we remember it with the personal thoughtful tough of Eden's Angels, geared up for the hanging bridges walk first, followed by cascading fresh water experiences, walks trough the estate and chatting with the custodians about past and present challenges that living in paradise brings within. We were offered to sit and sample the tropical fruits of the gardens during a get together and in no time we had to get ready for the drive to the cruise ship terminal to continue our cruise, bye, bye Eden until next time!

Great family fun day out in Vanuatu!
This is a fantastic place to visit for a family day out while in Vanuatu. We spent a good half a day opting for the ultimate experience which included two tours - we chose the bridge tour and cooking class, a Delicious BBQ lunch and ofcourse enjoying the beautiful swimming spots along the river. We were collected direct from our hotel in Port Vila which was great as it's about a half an hour drive out of town. For the kids the cooking class was just the right length and had some fun steps to participate in and keep their attention - it was a great way to learn about and try a food that is eaten by the locals. The bridges crossing the river were a lot of fun with a little flying fox at the end and the swimming spots were ofcourse stunning. With the deep water and strong current I would be wary with very young children but they did provide float rings. Also definitely recommend water shoes!

          Great walk in the rainforest
Just a 30 min ride from the Port, we arrived at Eden, which is not only the bridges walk but also a farm. After a warm welcome, we were inducted into the harnesses. The instructors had very good English and patient. A short walk down to the river, stopping along the way for a description of the local plants, and we had arrived. The staff were very helpful and stationed at each of the three bridges. The bridges are well maintained and sturdy. Make sure you stop along the way and observe the scenery as it is breathtaking. After the walk we had a quick dip in the river which was refreshing. Short walk up the hill and some fresh local fruit was a wonderful end to the morning. Toilets were clean and tidy (flushing type) and also a shower available. Food and drinks available for purchase on site. A great experience!

          Oasis in the rainforest
Amazing oasis of tropical plants. You get dropped off at the reception and put on harnesses to go for a rainforest walk and then climb across 3 wood and rope bridges and finish off on a short zip line. Incredibly safe with staff at rack stop point to move your carabiner across to the next ropes. You finish up at a beautiful swimming pool in the middle of waterfalls you can slide down. We went with our granddaughters, 6 & 9, and they could easily do it all but are quite confident with that kind of stuff.

          We've had a great day!
We've booked ultimate pass for our group of 9 (including kids). It was very hot on the day so instead of mini golf we've spent extra time in the rock pools. Bridges were fun and even the older members of our group (65+) were able to do that activity. Provided lunch was freshly prepared and delicious with variety of bbq meat, salads and drinks. We've participated in simboros cooking, preparing the local delicacy and coconut milk from scratch and we were able to try the final product which was delicious! Some of us participated in the Kava tour which was unforgettable experience. The staff was super friendly, helpful and passionate about the experience they were providing. Definitely recommending this tour for families!

          So worth it, must do!
Oh my, so beautiful. Just as the pictures show, truly amazing, natural waterfalls. We had the place to ourselves as we were not on a tour. Literally the only people there.

          Well worth a visit
A beautiful little spot for a cooling dip in pristine blue-green water surrounded by natural jungle. Option to walk some rope bridges (in a harness for safety - they are not high up btw) and be guided along a nature walk. Very tranquil and stunning. Enjoy!

          Bridges of Eden
We came here through the cruise we were on. A fun experience with staff positioned at each of the bridges to get you on to the next one with a small zipline ride at the end and then a swim. Bags were left at the top when we started and were waiting for us at the end by the river then the tour finished with a lovely fruit platter. The gaps between the steps were bigger than expected which along with the rocking on the bridges made it a bit tricky in parts

          A great day out.
For convenience, we booked our visit here through our cruise ship, if you want to save some money but have a bit more hassle, you can get here directly with a local taxi from the port. It's a reasonably short drive from the port and once there, we were ushered efficiently across to where we dropper bags and got into climbing harnesses. The bags were all taken down to the river where we'd end up. So that's convenient. Once harnessed up, it's a short walk through the bush with a guide pointing out the local fauna. At the river, there are three bridges to traverse, each one longer than the next. They're only a couple of metres up in the air, but a bit wobbly and bouncy. One or two people we saw were a bit uncomfortable going across. The last part is a flying fox before jumping into the clear waters to cool off. The final part of the experience is an opportunity to taste some of the local fresh fruit and peanuts before heading away. It's a well organised, safe, family-friendly day out in a fabulous location, which I'd highly recommend.

          Excellent Eden Experience
This was our third visit to beautiful Vanuatu so we opted for something different. This full day experience in the SE corner of Efate fulfilled every expectation and then some. Attentive informative staff operate from a family run complex nestled amidst verdant tropical rainforest. We arrived by transfer directly from the ship's terminal in Port Vila. Following a simple but thorough briefing, we were led to the picturesque Rentapao River where the first of the day's adventures took place, walking the bridges across the river. This is an activity that could be mildly unnerving for some but is suited to any age and skill level. Thanks to well positioned staff members and clear advice at every turn, this was a fun challenge and sensory delight. The surrounding scenery and river life is spectacular. Thankfully the crowds moved through befor us so after the bridge walk, we could indulge in a refreshing swim in the cascading river in relative isolation. Divine. An invigorating walk back to the main complex through serene rainforest topped up our tranquillity cups. A fulsome BBQ lunch, friendly banter, a native cooking demo and intriguing tour of the 'food ' Gardens rounded out the rest of a truly stimulating, relaxing and enriching experience. You can tailor your Eden experience to suit time and interest. We chose the Ultimate package which we'd highly recommend. A well run, well maintained and well operated taste of Eden. 👏

Amazing crew hosting the tours ! We did the bridge ultimate tour and picked the bridge climb and cooking class to say it was fun is an understatement! The water is magical like nothing you’d ever seen! We loved how they let you go at your own pace and we definitely did.. we ended up staying most of the day.

Great place for a half day visit
This was great for a half day visit. We just paid for the swimming ($13 Australian) The water falls are mini falls but still great for a swim and a cool down. The cafe is very cheap food and tasty. There are two swimming spots.

We live in Vanuatu, but not on Efate. We were in Port Vila on business, but we were looking for a family outing on Saturday. My wife called Eden on the river and arranged transport from our hotel and back for quite a reasonable fee. We had Eden to ourselves, except for staff, friendly dogs, sheep and other critters. Our eight year old daughter was so excited before we got there that I was afraid that reality would be a letdown. It was not. Everything exceeded our expectations. The playground was a really high quality construction of wood, tires and ropes. Our daughter was delighted with the farm animals in the park. The cafe was closed so we brought sandwiches with us to eat in one of the picnic shelters. Then we went to the river. Our daughter had so much fun swinging, splashing, swimming and chasing prawns that she wore herself out, and me too. I am looking forward to coming back some time to explore more of the underwater nooks and crannies in the sparkling clear river.

Wow!!! If you want somewhere to go to see Vanuatu’s natural beauty- this is the place! Everyone was friendly and as my youngest was not feeling 100% the owner drove us home.
The water was simply beautiful, climb was just right and the food was not over priced! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This place is an under appreciated gem!!!! The playground was great for the kids and they loved meeting all the animals. The pools and little waterfalls were great and the inner tubes they provided added to the fun and let me relax.

It was so good we went back a second time and did the put put golf. Definitely recommend! It was the prettiest put put golf I’ve ever done and the natural terrain made it very special.

        I can highly recommend!

We went based on previous reviews. We thought that although beautiful it was a total rip off. The Rarru cascades were far superior. If you’re happy to pay for an average tree top walk and a game of mini golf this is the place for you. If you want to swim in beautiful waterfalls then go to Rarru falls

This was a lovely experience! Staff and guides were very attentive and knowledgeable. As you walk through the tropics, your guide will tell you about the various plants. We had a very friendly dog (who lives on the property), Rosei, who escorted us down as well. When you get to the river, you can swing off a rope into the water. Further down the track, you will find the suspension bridges which finish with a zip line. You can then get into the rapids using a tube and slide down the rocks. There had been a lot of rain before our visit and it was a little but muddy and slippery in some parts so caution is advised. Steep stairs taking you back to the top. All round great tour! This is my third visit to Vanuatu and I have done a number of other excursions and was looking something we had not done

Drove about 15-20 minutes on our quad bike and we were not disappointed! We found It was really cheap and you definitely get your money’s worth. The swimming was breathtaking and the staff were super sweet! Heaps of animals and dogs to pat when you have finished your swim. I recommend the drive from Port Vila you won’t regret it!

This place was an unexpected pleasure. Kids loved the play ground and the little animal farm but the river and cascades stole the show. Crystal clear waters cascading over the rocks into blue lagoon pools. The water temp was amazingly refreshing and we even had the two owners dogs come and join us for a swim. The price was great for the facilities provided although we did not temp the golf of the bridge climb. Spent a good 2 hours here and had a ball. Kids loved it.
