Overview
Go from historic sites to the fascinating Witches Market on a guided La Paz walking tour that explores some of the city’s top highlights. You’ll learn about local traditions, culture, and history as you walk through La Paz’ colonial-era streets and squares with a group that’s capped at 15 people to ensure personal service from the local guide.
What to Expect
Make your way to a central location in La Paz, where you’ll meet a guide and small group for a morning or afternoon departure. Start by taking in the historic San Francisco Church, built by early Franciscans, then browse the colorful stalls at the Lanza and Rodriguez Markets.

Get a glimpse of Bolivia’s traditional healing and spirituality in the Witches Market, and head to Plaza Murillo to see the La Paz Cathedral and Presidential Palace. Here and throughout the tour, the guide will share stories of La Paz’ history, ancient traditions, and modern-day culture, and you can get insider tips on where to eat, drink, and go in the city. The tour concludes at a café in the narrow, colonial-era Jaen Street, where brightly painted buildings line the historic cobblestones.
