It was a full day and beautiful trip! Kassem drove us safely through the chaotic Lebanese traffic. He is a good guide and very patient when we needed some extra time for pictures. Can really recommend.

Amazing introduction to the hidden height and depths of the beautiful country of Lebanon. Our guide Albert, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous throughout took us first to the stunning upper chamber of the Jeita Grotto (bring an umbrella as you might need it!) then after a boat ride in the lower Chamber picking out rocky that look like camels and cacti, we found ourself at Harissa and the shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon with its stunning views. A short but enjoyable cable car ride later and we were off to Annaya - the tomb of Mar-Charbel the Maronite saint. A day of natural and spiritual beauty!

The Citadel was built by Raymond XI de Saint Gilles knight of the very First Crusade, who set out to conquer Tripoli and erected the castle around 1100 A.D. Entrance to the site costs 100,000 LBP and is well worth the price. You can roam through the sprawling grounds of this Crusader Castle and admire its Frankish and Ottoman foundations. Every stone staircase leads to a new deck and and its doorway opens up into a grand hall from Lebanon's past. Climbing through the structure to the very top of the castle, visitors will find an unmatched panorama of Tripoli from above. The site is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

I did a 5 day tour with Lebanon tours. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Communication was very quick and booking was seamless. The tours we did were fantastic (Baalbek, Byblos, Cedars and Tyre). The food included was incredible, best I had in Lebanon. We saw three amazing places, were driven around and had the opportunity to explore on our own inbetween.
