    Buyer beware
Don't bother booking with this company they take your money send you a confirmation the night before but nobody picks you up nor do they answer the phone and they say you will be reimbursed just to shut you up 2 weeks later I'm still trying to get my money and I've returned home. Very bad business and I'm not the only person with this experience with this company also had it happen with another company in Israel. Third time I actually contacted another company to confirm before I booked and it was half price from this company. This company should be put out of business.

Would not book with them again
Tourist Israel Tel Aviv Avoid Tour Israel. They will cancel with short notice and not refund payment. 985672839 Avoid this tour provider. While in Israel, I booked three separate day tours through Tour Israel for a total of over $400. They cancelled all three when they failed to get the minimum number of participants. In one case they booked a tour at 11:30 the day before it was scheduled and canceled it at 3:30 that afternoon. In each case they promised to refund the payment to my credit card “within 7-14 business days “. they did not process the refund until after I had been home for over a month, complained on their website and posted a negative review. I could not help but notice how this differed from my experience in Egypt and Jordon where 2 overcharges by separate vendors were refunded to my credit card immediately. In one case, within 5 minutes.

    90 minutes at Petra
22 hours of travel, including 90 minutes at Petra. This is a very late review, and I don’t know if anything may have changed — it was better than nothing, but this is absolutely not how I’d recommend someone see Petra. First of all, the people who are initially on your bus aren’t the people you’ll be with the entire day. Which is fine in itself, but comes into play later. Some people are on the one day tour. Some are on the two day tour. Some aren’t going to Petra at all, but are using the bus as a shuttle to another city. Again, this is all fine. The problems began to arise at the border. Multiple other buses showed up at the same exact time, all full of tourists using the same company. This created a massive line of people trying to get into Jordan. We spent *hours* waiting to cross. That’s not an exaggeration. I understand that some things are out of the company’s control, but this isn’t one of them. Once you cross, you get on another bus and meet the guide. This all makes sense, as it’s logical to have a Jordan-based guide/driver/bus. We made a stop at a gift shop on the way. A very, very long stop. We were there for over an hour. I’m sure the guide got a very nice commission, as lots of people were buying souvenirs. Of course when you arrive at Petra, the very same souvenirs are available all over the place…for about a third of the price. I have no problem with a guide getting a commission, but I couldn’t help but feel a little misled. I’m sure the guide knew the prices were massively inflated at the gift shop. And I’m sure he also knew he was eating into our time at the site. Between the border wait and the gift shop wait, I was left with about an hour and a half at Petra. I had to leave the group behind, in an attempt to actually see more than just the Treasury. Everyone met back up at a designated restaurant afterwards — again, I’m sure there was a nice commission to be had. Yes, the description of the tour says they can’t guarantee a certain amount of time at Petra. I fully understand that. But some things are absolutely within their control…they just choose not to prioritize the experience of their customers.

BEWARE! Do NOT book with this company! The last interaction you'd have with them is when they TAKE YOUR MONEY! Afterwards, silence... No tour, AND, no refund, either!!!

Avoid and save yourself the unpleasantness and disappointment
Gifted this tour and was incredibly disappointed. Late start. No answer at the number listed for emergencies... Did not include the promised itinerary; Bethlehem had no Christmas decorations at all; no room for tourists in the churches visited--they were already full to capacity. The celebratory meal was fine and the hotel booked by the agency was fine. But the main attractions-NIL. And I did call in advance and ask if Bethlehem would be safe and functioning and was reassured it would be.

Excellent, safe, and fun tour of Galilee
Max did great as a guide and our driver was safe/professional. The guide, Max was sensitive to my wife's disabilities. Max was multilingual too, knowing both Spanish and Russian, as do I. This was helpful, as I didn't need to translate to Spanish for my wife. He could speak directly with her. The tour was great also because I preferred to relax and let someone else drive for a day. We felt safe and cared for as well, given the current conflict situation. The tour was timely, fun, and educational. It was a pleasure to experience what Israel's northern Galilee region had to offer. We came to Israel to volunteer, as well as for sightseeing. We came to stand with Israel in this difficult time, and felt safe and fulfilled in doing so.

High Energy Fun. Amazing Guide. Highly Recommend!
ATV Desert Buggies in the Negev was amazing! The machines were fabulous and our guide - Daniel - was amazing. We had SO much fun. We went for 2 hours, but next time we will take a longer trek. He took us on an amazing ride around the crater - served the best homemade cold tea ever and explained how the crater was formed with greater clarity than I've ever heard. Was absolutely very high energy and fun - but completely safe. Kids had an amazing time! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend!

Transfer from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
Taxi ride was a good guy, but he accidentally deleted my pick up so he was an hour plus late. I had to call him to find out where he was. He got there within the half hour after I made the phone call, which was great. He said that a pick up was canceled, but he deleted the wrong one accidentally. We all make mistakes.

    Must see locations
All three locations were amazing. The tour requires a fair amount of hiking in Ein Gedi and Masada, but it is absolutely worth it! Driving through the Judean desert is beautiful, floating in the Dead Sea is a unique experience everyone should try. The views in Ein Gedi and Masada are incredible.

The day-long Best of Tel Aviv and Jaffa tour was a combination of history, food, buildings and art that make up the interesting story of Tel Aviv. Our guide took us on a wonderful journey through many neighborhoods and the Carmel Market where we had our fill of many foods. Would recommend this tour as a great introduction to the city.

Highly recommend this 3-part walking tour! Great for solo, friends, or multi generational family. This walking tour has three components. We signed up for all three and it was outstanding! We started with Jaffa and a walk through history...Sivan (sp??) was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable, added anecdotes, and the right sense of humor to make this walk through history engaging and fun. Our next stop was at the Carmel market and food tasting was excellent! Great introduction to the various delicacies, fun street food and experiences. Our guide introduced a fun element in one of short breaks to get us to meet other tour members. We ended up connecting with a young lady from Germany traveling solo. It totally enhanced our experience. Our last component was the "Graffiti" tour. I am a convert (I don't have much interest) but the perspective, the street art coupled with graffiti was very thought provoking and engaging. At the end of the day, we were delighted at all the knowledge, inspiration, experience and meeting new people the tour provided us.

Gal was a phenomenal tour guide, and her knowledge, exuberance, passion, and personality made for such a memorable tour. Gal was flexible with where she took me, she answered my questions with forethought and sincerity, and she took me to the absolute best hidden gems in Yafo and Tel Aviv. I would strongly suggest booking this tour and specifically requesting Gal’s expertise! Thank you, Gal, for a day I’ll never forget!

Everything about Tourist Israel is professional - great prices, quick helpful communications, slick and professional organisation. Our tour guide Moody was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable. We spent about 7 hours with him over the course of the day and he never once seemed fed up. I particularly loved the architecture and market/food tours. I’d been to some of the places the day before but not seen half the things i did with Moody pointing them out. He’s really passionate about street art and with his knowledge we started recognising styles and artists elsewhere in town on our own. I’d definitely recommend this tour, this guide and this company.

The Jaffa walk through history was fantastic. The Carmel market and food tasting was excellent. Each of those tours alone was worth the money and the time. However I got the package deal, and it ended with the Graffiti tour which was disappointing. I have been to numerous cities where “graffiti tours” are walks thru amazing murals, and beautiful street art. This tour was of amateur graffiti, and much of it was scribble and untalented trash. I honestly think that tour should be limited to the 6 good murals in the city, and bypass all the amateur trash and scribble.
Nobody wants to pay to see really unattractive scribble, on dirty walls.

This tour is not to be missed ! Our wonderful guide, Offir was terrific! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and possessed a sweet vibe and a calm energy. He explained everything very clearly and made sure that everyone felt included. Our walking “buffet” in Carmel Market was both delicious and interesting. We sampled foods and beverages that were not the usual fare. ………and there was so much more to experience in all the fascinating neighborhoods that we visited. I highly recommend doing the entire day! A must do for everyone!

We originally booked the architecture tour only but were so impressed by Shir’s enthusiasm and delivery that we signed up for the 2 other sections. The most impressive was the street art tour as Shir, our guide, is a street artist and was able to explain some of the symbolism eg the recurring sticking plaster. He also explained the stories behind some creations. A perfect winter tour if it’s dry. 7 hrs might be too much in the summer so I’d advise single tours on hot days.

Hi Tom_Traveller_7, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed your architecture tour so much that it inspired you to join Shir for the rest of the day. What a treat to learn about Tel Aviv's street art from one of its creators. We hope the whole day was fun and informative and that we'll see you again soon!

Julia took great care of the whole flock. She communicated where we were going and waited for everyone to gather around to explain what we were seeing. She used questions to lead us to the answers ourselves too!

It was a Lot of walking. Be aware. We put in 9 miles during the tour.

On shabbat, the Carmel market part doesn't happen, but she filled the time with other things.
