The guide showed us the most iconic places of Istanbul and she was very clear and friendly. She also gave us the best food tips!

Our guide was Erol Utgun, and he was fabulous. It was a most enjoyable experience. We learnt a lot about the history of Turkey and the food scene of Istanbul. Erol took us to a variety of food places and they were all delicious. We had a great day and would highly recommend Erol.

This was the highlight of our short (and first) break in Istanbul. We were lucky to have a first rate guide all to ourselves but Erol was knowledgable and articulate about Turkish food and history, including an eastern insight into the development of Christianity. (Don't worry, I think he was responding to our questions!) We had some great food and a number of different tastes - I liked the whole coffee preparation demo and we went back to the Spice bazzar for turkish delight. The ferry across to Asia and back was memorable. Thoroughly recommended.

My husband and Idid a private tour in Kadlkoy with Erol. He was knowledgeable about food, the area and its history. He took us to fabulous local places we would not have found on our own. Such a lovely guide. Very good English. Would highly recommend Erol!

Our guide Kim is a local with extensive knowledge about the history of the palaces and mosques. Easy pace, covering all the Sultanahmet must-sees. Even an intro to the Grand Bazaar and spice market. Recommended.

The tour is excellent. Our guide was Kiymet “Kim” a charming and knowledgeable guide. Lots of local knowledge, special places and recommendations for more of anything you are interested in. Super busy area with lots you would miss on your own. Even had time for a stop and a Turkish coffee! It is worth noting that if you are unfamiliar with the area it is very steep in places and uneven and very very busy! If you have limited mobility this may be worth bearing in mind. Absolutely worth the money😀

We liked Istanbul even more thanks to the special information given by our guide, Yunus. He is a walking encyclopedia who made history interesting and captivating. He is also an excellent photographer and took dozens of photos of us. We took a taxi to the meeting spot, but the driver ripped us off and left us 20 minutes from where we had to walk. Our guide Yunus was on time at the meeting place and took us around the various sites, plus several others that we had not scheduled. He was very thorough, kind, and helpful throughout the visit. He helped us find a Michelin-star restaurant and have a fantastic meal, which we would not have been able to enjoy without his assistance. After the meal, he rode with us on the metro back to our hotel to ensure that we returned safely and were not taken advantage of by taxi drivers. We were traveling with a group that included other tours. However, his tour was the highlight of our trip and gave us lasting memories.

Our guide Gamze was very informative and fun. We loved our tour. We got to see all of the main attractions in a short time and learnt a lot about Istanbul.

It was a great experience in Instambul with our great guide Huseyin. He gave us a great and colorful historical review in perfect English. It was very interesting also to find out architectural and archeological details. We also had an Excursion to the Turkish rug factory, where we could see handmade silk and wool rug production from a silk cocoon to a weaving by hands beautiful patterns genuine only for Turkish rugs. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful experience! We had our food tour with Erol who provided an excellent food and history tour covering the two continents of Istanbul! Started in Eminonu with food and history and then took ferry to Kadiköy on the Asian side and had more food stops. Erol was very knowledgeable and welcomed any and all questions we had. It was a unique experience and we are grateful to have booked it. Highly suggest trying to get Erol as your guide.

The tour guide never showed up! We were at meeting site will before meeting time and waited 25 minutes for tour guide who never appeared. When tour provider was contacted we were told that the tour happened and that this was not their problem. Do not reserve this tour!!!
