Hue Off the Beaten Path Motorbike Tour and Cooking Class
From US$35.00
Adventurous travelers who like to try new experiences will love this day tour outside Hue, which includes a motorbike tour and a cooking class. You can enjoy the thrill of riding on a motorbike while letting a skilled driver do the driving, so you can just relax and watch the scenery and villages unfold. Learn to cook Vietnamese food at the Thanh Toan Restaurant, and eat your delicious meal afterwards.
What to Expect
Around 8:30am, our motorbike team will meet you at your lobby and you will ride to photo point to meet other participants, beginning our Hue Cooking Class Tour with a memorial group photo. Seating back our rider and ready for new experience, you will pass along a zigzag road leading to the quiet countryside of Hue with the green fields and flock of ducks swimming on the river. Upon reaching the Thuy Thanh village, you have time to stop at Communal House, the Ngo and Tran Family Temple for taking photos.
Arriving at our Thanh Toan Restaurant, there are many options for you: relax and enjoy our welcome drink, take a walk around the village, visit a local market to understand the daily life of the people here.  See the Thanh Toan Bridge and the agricultural tools museum with many kinds of tools used when farmers used to work on the rice field in the old days. Come back to our restaurant and visit the egg incubator to learn the procedure of hatching a duck egg into a duckling. After that, watch the farmer’s activities in our garden; learn how they grow many kinds of vegetables and experience with them there. Join the cooking class with our chef. Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Hue special foods. After the lesson, enjoy and dine on what you have cooked. After this, we take you back to your hotel to end our tour.
Following are some Vietnamese special dishes for cooking class:
- Fig mixed with shrimp and pork
- Spring roll
- Pancake
When having lunch, there will have some following dishes:
- Braised fish or Grilled chicken
- Vegetable fried with shrimp or beef
- White rice
- Dessert (Fruit or sugar soup)
