Overview

There’s no need to brave Saigon’s turbulent traffic or haggle with voracious taxi drivers on this convenient Ho Chi Minh City half-day tour-—ideal for first-time visitors. Traveling in air-conditioned comfort, see the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Jade Emperor Pagoda, and a typical market, all introduced by your local guide.

What to Expect

After pickup from your hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1863 and 1880 by French colonists, and the Central Post Office, based on a design by Gustave Eiffel, creator of Paris’ famous Eiffel Tower.

Learn about the history of the Vietnam War, as you visit Independence Palace (now known as Reunification Palace) and the War Remnants Museum, with its moving displays on the impacts of Agent Orange.

Finally, visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, built by the city’s Cantonese community around a century ago, and a typical Vietnamese market.

Once the tour is finished, your guide will drop you back to your hotel.

It’s very easy to get around. Get grab and just point the direction you are going to. You can also take a taxi as all taxis are government owned. Very safe.
