Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
From US$39.00
Overview
The Viet Cong used the Cu Chi Tunnels during the Vietnam War, and the historic site makes a popular day trip from nearby Ho Chi Minh City. On this tour, benefit from a small group size, which means more attention from your guide and more photo opportunities as you explore the underground tunnels and peek out of the camouflaged trapdoors.
What to Expect
Travel from Ho Chi Minh City by air-conditioned minivan through the countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels. On arrival, set out to explore the vast network of underground tunnels, which span more than 124 miles (200 kilometers). Learn how Viet Cong soldiers used the tunnels during the Vietnam War, serving as meeting rooms, weapons stores, sleeping quarters, and hideouts.

Accompanied by your guide, head underground to experience the tunnels for yourself and scramble through the underground passageways. Don’t forget to take a photo peeking out from under one of the camouflaged trapdoors.

After plenty of time to explore the fascinating site, set out on the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City, where your tour ends back at the departure point.

It was a half day tour. Started at 7:00 and returned at 1:00. We had a river cruise next day. We thought we should have done the cu chi and river cruise at the same day.
