The Ha Long Bay tour was simply amazing. Mr. Toan, our tour guide, has amazing communication skills and made us laugh and smile throughout the tour. The cruise tour was wonderful!

We really enjoyed the ha long bay tour! They ensure you see the main sites whilst also giving you options including kayaking vs group boat ride or hike / beach time at ti top island. Very underwhelming cruising experience. Some of the good things with the cruise are of course the views, especially with the sunset on the way back to the Marina. That’s really about it. Now the bad; The food onboard the cruise was extremely poor. It’s worthwhile to mention that not a single food item is fresh, or at the very least refrigerated. That includes the squid, prawns, fish, etc. The chicken was the only item prepared on site, however it was overcooked. My feedback for this is for the tour to just stick to the basics. Have Vietnamese cuisines that are easy to prep beforehand and easy to keep fresh (spring rolls, etc.) Upon bringing this up with our tour guide, the conversation had a guilt trip motive trying to outline how profits are slim on the cruise and how they’re competing on price with other companies. We tried communicating that price was not an issue. If it were, we wouldn’t have booked it in the first place. We were more upset with the lack of quality in experience in the cruise. There is absolutely no safety briefing on board. Nothing about evacuation plans, life jackets, etc. It’s not important for many people, but it is a good gesture to know that the company does care about safety as a priority. Halong Bay Itself is very touristy. No matter where you go on this destination, there will be a least 10-50 boats. For us, this wasn’t too much of an issue but for those looking for a relaxing, quiet time. This may not be for you. In addition, be prepared to have a lengthy conversation on the way back to your hotel about how the driver and the tour guide are underpaid. They emphasise the fact that they need tips. This isn’t a problem in itself, it’s the way that they ask for them which is hard to describe through text. Just something to be prepared for. To conclude, it was good to do a Halong Bay cruise, I just wished we went with someone else.

Most of the place of interest are within walking distance. Finally, would like to thank the hotel reception Anna, Wendy and the strong guys which I did not manage to get their names. They are helpful, service oriental and answer to all our queries.

This company and its people do such a fabulous job at ensuring that you have an amazing experience. Whether it is a half-day or full day experience, you will not regret booking with them. When I say it was perfect, I mean it! Everything went extremely smoothly because they pay a lot of attention to detail. If you are adventurous, you must opt for the speedboat too - it was a lot of fun. Overall, could not have asked for more. They even went out of their way to help me with booking my return trip back to Hanoi. An awesome 12/10 experience and looking forward to coming back!

Memorable day - we were very well looked after by Alan our guide and the crew & staff on the boat. The food was very good and Ha Long Bay is highly recommended to visit.

This was probably the most disappointing thing I did while in Vietnam. The photos and descriptions I read about made it sound like this would be a magical place, with picturesque views, and clear blue waters to swim in. The reality couldn’t have been further from the truth. After a 3 hour ride on the bus, we finally made it to the harbor where we boarded the cruise ship that would take us around a few spots. The hot food we were served was cold. After a 1 hour cruise, we arrived at Titop Island. We were told we could either swim or hike but wouldn’t have time for both. This place was small, overcrowded and there wasn’t any place to sit down or avoid the sun. The “swimming area” was next to where 50-100 boats were so the water was polluted. We left here and went to another dock for a boat ride where you had the choice to pay for a speed boat ride (or stay in a small cove where someone paddled you around for 20 minutes). The driver made it fun, but it was sad to see so much garbage floating in the water. You also were surrounded on all sides by other boats. The last stop was another hike into a cave - there wasn’t any cultural significance, just another manufactured experience involving a lot of steps. Then a 1.5 hour ride back to the harbor, followed by a 3 hour drive back to Hanoi. Do yourself a favor and skip Halong Bay.

Great tour definitely would recommend this one. This company provide a VIP bus and a great cruise ship. Our guide was excellent a really nice guy. Funny professional and helpful. The best choice for Halong Bay.

From meeting our guide , to stepping on the boat every detail was taken care of . The food on the boat was great we had lots of time for photos. We rowed through a small cave then hiked up a bunch of stairs where we entered a mountain it was truly amazing

The views were absolutely stunning. The tour was well organized and very friendly. The food was plentiful and good. The boat was pleasant but the venues were crowded.
