Small-Group Hanoi Countryside Half-Day Bike Tour
If you’re looking for respite from Hanoi’s bustling charm, opt for a bike tour of Vietnam’s countryside. This half-day option—ideal for travelers with limited time—takes you along the Red River into rural settlements and fruit plantations. Traveling by bike lets you access secluded areas that traditional tour vehicles can’t and a small group limited to 12 ensures you receive personalized attention from your guide.
What to Expect

Your tour begins in the afternoon at a designated meeting point in central Hanoi, where you’ll greet your guide and receive a thorough safety briefing. Once you’re kitted out with your helmet, you’ll set off at a leisurely pace across Long Bien Bridge, built by the same architect that created the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

During the ride, you’ll get an intimate glimpse into rural settlements scattered along the banks of the Red River. Stop at banana plantations for tastings and learn about local culture from your guide. Then, arrive at West Lake just in time for sunset. Enjoy a coffee or green tea here before returning to your original departure point in Hanoi.

Hot work, but worth it

Of course Vietnam in July was going to be muggy but this trip was worth it for us. A good look into the back streets of Hanoi and to have a good chat to our local guide. Thanks Chinh!
