About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- dawnfrangi0 contributionsJungle hiking, elephants and rafting! 3 amazing experiences in one day! This was one of the best trips we have ever done! As we drove north, the rain began and we were worried about the day. However, it stopped before our destination and we began a memorable and sometimes challenging hike to a beautiful waterfall. Tip: wear shoes you don't mind getting must and wet! However, the rain returned and our hike back was through a tropical rain storm. Truly a memorable experience. Our guide was amazing and full of enthusiasm, making sure we crossed rivers safely and everyone enjoyed the experience, despite being soaked to the skin! The rain stopped again and we finished the hike in sunshine! Then we arrived at the elephant sanctuary. The elephants were beautiful and friendly. After a simple lunch of noodles, we were given clothes to change into. We then prepared the elephants' food with machetes and then fed them and stroked them. Then we walked them to the river and helped wash them. It was an unforgettable experience. The third part of the day was white water rafting. Our children, aged 11 and 8, weren't allowed to do the more tricky rapids, so they travelled with the guide until we picked them up lower down the river. It was another incredible experience and we all loved it. We'd all highly recommend this experience!Written 24 August 2024
- MariaaTravels0 contributionsBest cooking class!I loved this cooking school! Aim was such a good teacher and so funny. The food was easy to cook and delicious. This was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!!!Written 22 August 2024
- josedanield9690 contributionsAdventure 3 activities dayWell organised trip day by the tour operator. Pick up and drop off from our hotel was included. The trail trekking was beautiful, but it is a bit challenging, so I would say,it depends on the level you are looking for. I loved the trekking! Meal was ok , the elephants are well cared in the farm, but i think its a bit the tourist show that is around the elephants in the area. The most fun was the rafting , great adventure!Written 17 August 2024
- calvindB2837VY0 contributionsQuick, but adequate tourFirst of all, Big was a fantastic tour guide. Great energy, hilarious, and very caring. He kept us laughing the entire time while also providing us with sufficient information of the elephants. Such a great experience, highly recommend especially if you can get Big as your guide!Written 16 August 2024
- BlightyEngland0 contributionsParadise with Ping Pong and the ElephantsThis was a fabulous choice. The tour operator kept in touch all the time and pick up from hotel was great.Ping Pong…..yep that’s his name ,was our guide and he didn’t stop laughing and smiling all day…the jungle walk and waterfall was amazing but you must be able bodied to do it.Then….feeding the Elephants and walking with them to the river for a bath and washing them was an out of this world experience. The Mud bath followed so keep your distance. For a very close up experience this is the trip for you.And the the white water rafting….what a crack, what great fun…..towards the end everyone jumped out of the rafts and floated down to the meeting point……then off home(about one hour thirty each way) Thank you Ping Pong for such a memorable day.if you are wondering what elephant experience to choose. This is it.Written 13 August 2024
- whereisanddy0 contributionsAn unforgettable experience into the wildThis tour is not only a great experience, it's also a day to enjoy nature, learn about caring elephants at the sanctuary and share a very fun time with people from different countries. Apart from that, we were so lucky to have the funniest guide we have ever met: Big. He's very funny and made our day unforgettable. We'll miss him!!Written 13 August 2024

- worldtraveler62840 contributionsBest way to spend a day in Chiang Mai!!This day trip was amazing! Amazing value and an amazing way to see so much of the nature of Chiang Mai. The hike was quite challenging, which we loved, and the waterfall at the end of it was beautiful. The elephants were out favorite part, and we got to spend a good amount of time with them. And the white water rafting was more than we were expecting! I would definitely recommend this trip and if your guide is Tony you're in for a great time!!Written 6 August 2024

- Vacation387888056330 contributionsDAY TO REMEMBER100% worth every penny. Big, the tour guide was fantastic, so friendly and will look after you all the way. The Hike was challenging, but the end result of it was definitely worth it - bring something to swim in and a towel for sure. The elephant sanctuary was amazing, you prepare the food for them and then feed it to them. It really is 100% ethical in our experience, no use of tools to make the elephants do anything, they seem like they want to be there. They are also completely wild as when walking around the forest you can see them living in their natural environment. After this the rafting was amazing, and you can swim in the river too. Could not recommend it more. Me and my girlfriend had a day to remember!!!! 10/10!!!!!!Written 10 July 2024
- nc00k60 contributionsSuperb! We booked this last minute and were pleased Aim and her sister could accommodate us. My son particularly wanted to have a Thai cooking lesson whilst on our trip to Chiang Mai and this didn't disappoint. Aim was very engaging from the minute she picked us up and entertained us whilst teaching us the steps to make 6 dishes! A very entertaining course and great value for money as its your dinner sorted for the day too!Written 5 July 2024
- 672ethann0 contributionsThe Best Day!We had the best day ever! The jungle trek was brilliant - exploring farms, waterfalls and seeing remote Thai villages - with our guide, Big, explaining everything all the way through. The elephant sanctuary was amazing with education on all things elephant's watching them roam free. We were also lucky enough that they followed us down to the river so we could shower them - though they weren’t forced to by any of the staff so still very ethical! The white water rafting was the best way to end a great day with an adrenaline rush and felt safe all the time with the English speaking guides explaining everything for us. One final word for Big who made the day! He insisted on ‘no seriousness, only fun’ which was definitely how the day panned out - he was also brilliant at explaining everything and answering any questions we had. Overall, the best day!Written 27 June 2024

A very nice day tour to the Doi Inthanon National Park. The tour guide was super enthusiastic and always made sure everyone was safe and comfy. However, the tour was fully booked and so the transport van was quite crowded. If you tend to get carsick this might be a bit of an issue because the mountain road is quite curvy. A good lunch and water were provided. Visiting the Karen village felt a bit odd to us, because we practically went through their homes and it had a somewhat "zoo-like" feeling to it. In summary it was a typical tourist-tour, so if you prefer a more individual experience, this might not be for you.

Noi was an incredible tour guide, she spoke good English and explained the significance of each of the sites that we visited. My friend and I booked it late in the evening (11pm) for the very next day and they were very accommodating to us being so last minute. We were a group of 5 individuals and she made sure that everyone was doing well throughout the day and encouraged us to ask as many questions as we wanted. I would highly recommend this day trip if you are looking for something to do outside of the city, as my friend and I were all spent seeing temples in the old town. The rain forest walkway was beautiful and from the top of the King and Queen's temples, you will have a great view of the valley below. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely won't disappoint.

This was a great experience and highly recommended. Our tour guide Leela was incredibly helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. She did a great job of communicating throughout the day not only giving us info on the sites but also keeping us updated on the itinerary throughout the day. She paid attention to detail and offered tips and advice through the day at each of our stops. The tour driver was also very helpful and friendly. Most importantly he was a very safe driver. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout the drive even as we saw other cars and vans swerving and passing on blind corners.

Great experience with a very entertaining and funny tour guide. Ekk did a great job guiding us through the entire trip and providing us with many "secrets" and gossip about the places we visited. All the spots we went to were beautiful and interesting. The lunch was so good!
You won't be bored, I was traveling solo and I had a great time. It was a group of 8 or 9 people and Ekk made sure that everyone was okay during the trip. The highest spot isn't that cold but maybe a windbreaker would be a good idea and wear some hiking shoes or some other sturdy shoes because you'll be doing some minor hiking and the area around the water falls is wet and muddy. Lastly, many winding and curvy roads going up the mountain, if you get motion sickness bring something to help you with that. You'll feel it on the way back because there are no stops from the fruit market (last stop) back to the city center. Do this trip when in Chiang Mai and if you get Ekk, you won't be bored!

Kuhn Nui was our travel guide and Kuhn Thor was our driver. Both performed their jobs with great care and professionalism. Kuhn Nui took the time to explain in detail what we were seeing and fully answered our questions. We were very impressed with the visit to the village where the fruits of the Royal Project was in full living display. We enjoyed the coffee trees and the great explanation on how local coffee is grown, harvested and prepared. Kuhn Thor was a a great driver and did an outstanding job navigating the sometimes narrow and winding local roads. The scenery was beautiful?
Thank much to Kuhn Nui and Kuhn Thor

Travelling to Chiang Mai via sleeper train, we booked this trip on a last minute whim pretty much 12 hours before pick up was due. We didn’t arrive into Chiang Mai until 7.20am and pick up was due to be 8am however the tour company ensured we were the last pick up which gave us a bit of time to get washed and dressed before hand. Pia and our driver picked us up on a lovely air conditioned mini bus with a group of 9 in total - lots of different nationalities taking the tour too. We then traveled to Don Inthanon stopping at a service station on the way, with a coffee shop, iced tea shop and plenty of other places to get refreshments and a clean Fully functioning toilet! Both of the waterfalls we visited were amazing and Pia was always on hand for photos and information about each one. She was so enthusiastic and funny too! Couldn’t have been more helpful. Following the waterfalls we stopped at a Karen tribe village, had a go at grinding coffee and of course sampling and then had a tour around the village before lunch. We’re vegetarian and this was fully catered for with a lovely set menu. The restaurant also had a fully functioning toilet. From here we went up to the highest point in Thailand and did a bike of a ‘hike’ (more like a casual walk so don’t worry if that isn’t your thing!). The penultimate stop was the pagodas which we had an hour to enjoy and finally a fruit and nut market with local produce from the mountain. We had an amazing day, and would encourage anyone to do this tour, even straight off an overnight train! Altitude wise it is high, but I have asthma and wasn’t affected at all, and the walking is all really leisurely - I wouldn’t say you need to be overly fit for it. Pia was an absolute pleasure and can’t recommend this tour enough! Our driver was also lovely and felt safe always.

This was a fantastic excursion. Activities included:
1. Visit to Wachirathan Waterfall.
2. Visit to Karen Tribe (Mae Klang Luang) with a coffee making demonstration and tasting session.
3. Local Thai lunch.
4. Visit to Doi Inthanon National Park & Temples.
5. Visit to Thailand’s highest point.
6. Visit to a local market in Chom Thong.
The 6 in our group were collected from our respective Chiang Mai hotels and transported approximately 1.5 hours south west in a comfortable minibus. Our tour guide, Leela, was absolutely brilliant. She spoke perfect English and during the journey gave an introductory talk on each of the sites we were to visit. At each site, Leela gave further explanations about the historical significance and was happy to answer any questions the group had for her.
Each site was fascinating and beautiful. The whole day provided excellent value for money in my opinion, with multiple sites visited and a delicious Thai lunch included. I would happily recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the north of Thailand, and if they’re lucky they’ll have Leela as their tour guide too!

We were a little skeptical before booking but the tour was worthwhile. Left at 8 am, returned 6 pm, and saw a mix of natural sites like waterfalls and some cultural sites, including lunch in Karen folk village. Guide was good, driver was competent, vehicle was comfortable. Total group of 8 people. Only down-side was the next to last stop at the twin king&queen pagodas which the guide had described as the highlight of the tour. They are large modern pagodas set in formal flower garden with a view towards the plains below. Lacking any interesting cultural, historical or natural features. They were build by the military who still manage the site and collect the ticket money. We spent a full hour there but only needed 30 minutes.

Definitely book this trip if you want to see the natural wonders of northern Thailand! We were picked up promptly for the day in a very nice air conditioned van and our adventure began! I really especially loved the historical voiceovers from our guide which gave us perspective as we went through the National Park and the Pagodas. The waterfall was especially gorgeous and I'm so glad we got to go there! After stopping at the National Park and the waterfalls, we actually went into a town that was in the Park as well. I suppose I really didn't read the reviews fully on this but WOW i loved this part of the tour. We really got to see what "normal" life looks like in this region. I also loved seeing the rice fields and how vibrant they were. It felt like we were being welcomed into a tiny town - with a little coffee shop and a restaurant. Neither were really "marked" as such (as we would expect) so it felt like we were truly in someone's home. Lastly, we had free time at the Pagodas to end the afternoon, which were beautiful. Don't hesitate and just book this trip! It's worth every penny.

Booking was easy & i receive the trip details almost immediately. Our tour guide Piano, WhatsApp me a day before the tour to confirm the meetup location & reminded me to bring a jacket as the weather can be cold up in the mountains.
On tour day we were picked up on time by Piano & driver Pino. Both very cheerful & friendly. They got us some local fruits (monkey apples) & snacks to try.
The tour is easy & suitable also for young kids or elderly.
I have an injured ankle and have no trouble walking to the places of interests, albeit a little slower.
The roads to Doi Inthanon are narrow & windy, and driver Pino was very careful to navigate the turns.
My family enjoyed the day very much.
