Small Group tour Doi Inthanon
8:00-8:30 pick up from hotel and drive to Doi Inthanon National Park to visit the peak in Thailand, enjoy scenery and waterfall.
Leave the bustle of Chiang Mai for a day in Doi Inthanon National Park on this full-day tour led by a local guide. Your small group goes to the large stupa near Doi Intanon’s summit, and takes walks around Wachiratharn Waterfall, a coffee plantation, and a traditional Karen village. Hear commentary from your guide that explains the traditions of northern Thailand’s hill tribes, local foods, and the region’s wildlife.
What to Expect
Get an early start with morning pickup from your Chiang Mai hotel and settle into the comfortable minivan for the scenic 2-hour drive to Doi Inthanon National Park.

Start exploring the tallest mountain in Thailand, Doi Inthanon, by visiting the King and Queen stupas located near the top of the mountain. See lush gardens, jungle-clad mountains, and small farms that can grow cooler-climate crops.

Your guide shares commentary on the region as you take short nature walks, visit a Karen hill tribe village, and cool off at Wachiratharn Waterfall. You’ll also visit the local Mhong market and sample local foods, have a lunch of Thai fare, and check out a coffee plantation.

Return to Chiang Mai in the evening where your tour ends with hotel drop-off.
