Overview
Learn to cook an authentic Thai meal with a 5-hour cooking class that includes pickup and drop-off at your Chiang Mai hotel. Shop for ingredients at a local market, then roll up your sleeves to cook a meal of classic Thai dishes. An expert cooking instructor will walk you through each step, and you’ll get to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared at the end of the lesson. Both morning and evening classes are available.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your Chiang Mai hotel for 8:30am or 4pm departure, then travel to a local market to explore the stalls. You’ll learn to choose the best of each ingredient, with the chance to sample some fresh produce along the way—enjoy some free time to wander or shop before continuing to the cooking school.

Upon arrival, visit the organic kitchen garden where ingredients for the student kitchen are grown. When you begin to cook, each participant will have their own cooking station, so you’ll be sure to learn every step in the process.

The grand finale is the meal you’ve cooked: sit down to a full lunch or dinner with your fellow students. At the end of the cooking class, you’ll be presented with a book of recipes, so you can reproduce what you’ve learned in your home kitchen. This cooking class concludes with return transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
