Day 01 :Arrival at Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel
Day 02 :Visiting world heritage sites and trekking preparation day in Kathmandu
Day 03 :Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu (35 min). Trek to Phakding (2,652m) - 3 hrs
Day 04 :Trek from Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3,420m) - 6 hrs
Day 05 :Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar (3,420m)
Day 06 :Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phorste Thanga (3,680m) - 6 hrs
Day 07 :Trek from Phorste Thanga to Machhermo (4,470m) - 2-3 hrs
Day 08 :Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo lake (4,750m) - 3 hrs
Day 09 :Climb to Gokyo Ri and trek to Machhermo (4,750m)
Day 10 :Trek from Machhermo to Namche bazaar (3,440m) - 6 hrs
Day 11 :Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m) - 6-7 hrs
Day 12 :Flight to Kathmandu (35 min)
Day 13 :Leisure day in Kathmandu, discovering around, shopping and farewell dinner
Day 14 :Flight back home
This is one of the world’s most spectacular and adventurous treks, starting off in Lukla, winding its way up to the amazing Gokyo Ri Pass. The sights of beautiful turquoise blue Gokyo Lakes as well as 5 of the top 10 tallest mountains in the world will be seen from this pass. The mountains you will be able to see are the world reknown Mt Everest – an astonishing 8848m tall, as well as Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), and Mt. Nuptse (7864m).
Experience the culture of where the famous Sherpa’s are located and learn first-hand about their famous mountaineering skills, their fascinating culture and way of life, all while trekking through the quaint villages, eating and sleeping in their unique tea houses. Enjoy the regions diversity of flora and fauna and you never know, you may even see the elusive snow leopard!
