I used Africa Travel Tours twice: (from the airport to the lodge) My experience started off a bit frustrating. Upon arrival, there was no one holding a sign as instructed. I had to step outside the terminal and search for the van in the parking lot. I spotted the company logo on the van myself. Just as I found it, the driver was about to leave, but I managed to stop him in time. Once I presented my voucher and everything was verified, the driver turned out to be friendly and accommodating. While the rest of the ride was smooth, the lack of coordination at the airport made the process unnecessarily stressful. (from the lodge to the airport) I had a great experience with Africa Travel Tours on my recent airport transfer. The driver arrived early, was very polite and professional, and shared interesting information about the surrounding area during the ride. This was my second time using the company. My first transfer, from the airport to my lodge, wasn’t as smooth, but this experience completely made up for it. I appreciate the improvement and would happily recommend Africa Travel Tours to others.

The food was good, nothing spectacular but everything we had was good. The all you can eat buffet style was nice. I am a vegetarian, my partner is not, they did have vegetarian options which was nice but it definitely is more catered toward non-vegetarians which I expected and makes sense since the dinner in part showcases local cuisine which is more meat-based. Also any alcoholic beverages came with an extra charge. There were brief performances throughout the dinner culminating in a drum performance in which everyone was given a small drum near their table and was encouraged to play along with/become part of the show. There was no "singling out" of audience members, everyone used their drums while sitting at their seats so for those who are shy you won't have to worry about that. After the drum show portion when dinner had wrapped up guests were invited/encouraged to get on the floor and dance. Overall we had fun and it was a nice experience on our first night in Victoria Falls so if you are looking to try some different foods and have some light entertainment during dinner it was nice but I would not call it a "must do".

Me and two associates traveled from Nairobi to Victoria Falls and returned 4 days later. On both transfers from the VF Airport to our hotel and then from our hotel to the Airport VF Airport Transfers provided great and timely service. Especially since upon arriving we were held in customs for over an hour and then upon our departure, our flight was significantly altered which impacted the time we needed to arrive at VF Airport. Therefore the original time requested changed and the need to be at the airport was much sooner than originally requested. This was not an issue for VF Airport Transfers as they arrived within 10 minutes of the call to make the change, Great customer service and the drivers were helpful and friendly.

Africa Travel & Tours was efficient and timely. It was easy to schedule our transfers before arriving. Once we were on the ground, the company went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable on our transport to and from the airport. Graciously, they even booked two last-minute excursions for us. We will be using this company again in the future and recommending them to friends who visit Southern Africa!

Gift was so nice! Walked us through the entry and exit points for Zimbabwe and Zambia, making the process incredibly stress free!

This was definitely more fun for my kids than us adults. Food was plentiful, but not the most flavorful. Very attentive and kind staff. You will be hit up with performances from the moment you exit your taxi throughout the meal. The drum performance was very fun, and we all enjoyed drumming along. Overall a fun, family-friendly evening.

We were actually booked with Africa Travel Tours for our transfer from Kasane in Botswana to Vic Falls in Zimbabwe. We liked our driver, Dilo (sp?) so much, that we requested he be our guide for a Township tour, as well as a guided tour of the falls on the Zimbabwe side, and he was our driver to the airport when we left. It definitely added to our experience, that he was able to tell us the history, point out landmarks that we would otherwise not have paid attention to, and told us some of the customs and traditions of his home. Highly recommend the company and Dilo in particular.

Our tour guide, Jimmy, was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive to the diverse needs of our group, able to connect with the oldest and youngest and everyone in between and made every part of our trip interesting and enjoyable!

The food was good and varied and I enjoyed the show. But the drinks were very expensive compared to anywhere else in Zimbabwe. You are not given a price list or indication of the cost and I got a shock at the end of the evening.

Great food and a great show. Drummers and dancers were very good. Lots of food including Wart Hog, Crocodile, and Water Buffalo.

You can do everything with USD! Come with small bills to pay taxis and local merchants in cash. Baines (just above the falls on the river) and Lookout, (below the falls) restaurants are both excellent! We saw an elephant close to the Big Tree! It was a real African experience!
