        What a good operation!
I booked a holiday for a couple,e visiting Zimbabwe for the first time. I used Shearwater for the transfers and tours and they wet so very happy with everything. They mentioned Mehluli who helped them and was very thoughtful, professional and accommodating in every aspect. They did the Historic Bridge Tour which was very interesting and well done. The tour of the Victoria Falls was also a must and they loved their Chobe Tour and the surprise at lunch with everyone being so generous with their time and caring attitude. What a wonderful trip it was for them and I can only thank you and all your colleagues at Shearwater for helping me to show them our spectacular country and the amazing people we have.

Brilliant way to view Vic Falls
The jet boat tour is amazing. The view of the Falls from the bottom is exceptional - a truly once in a lifetime experience; you’ll remember it forever. The staff are brilliant; very helpful, informative and super-friendly. Now, both the warning, but if you can handle it, a dramatic, breathtaking (in every sense of the word) surprise; access is quite difficult - so you best be a bit fit. The metal steps are incredibly steep at parts, and the rock steps are dangerous in sections too - but what an experience having climbed in and out of that wonderful gorge. Fantastic experience!!

        Good tour group
We did quite a few tours with this group. The guides are great and they explain everything that needs to be told well worth the money

        Worth the trip
Awesome trip. But limited as to distance that can be traveled but fantastic vantage point to see the falls from below. Was also very cool hike to bottom of gorge. One of the guides Kent my wife shoes off his own feet because her flip flops were not great footwear for the trip up.

Extremely average and need to be fit
Getting there - yes, the steps down are steep but what you MUST know is that the metal stairs at some points is missing a bannister and at others, is totally twisted meaning you have to be super careful on what is already a nearly vertical descent to the river. There are around 300 steps, half of which are jagged rocks with very narrow and smooth (sometimes slippery) ledges. You must be sure-footed and athletic to manage these. Some 'steps' are nearly 2 feet in depth also. The climb down takes almost 30 mins and back up around 40 minutes. The Activity - there are 2 rapids about 500 metres apart. You go over these about 5 times with increasing levels of speed ensuring you are soaked. Most of the time on the boat is spent stationery to allow pictures of the Falls from the river. The captain then spins the boat a few times fie dramatic effect and that is it!! Really, this should be called a 'hike and boat tour' - the 'adventure' is more about the descent to the river than the actual boat! Beautiful view of the falls from the river but really not sure it's worth calling it a 'jet boat adventure ' taking into account you spent only 30 mins of the time in the actual boat and go over the same 2 rapids again and again.

Fun day to see the falls, hike is tough so only go if you are in decent shape!
We had a blast with the guys from Sheatwatwr and didn’t do much research prior. Like others said the hike up and back is treacherous but I never felt unsafe… I did feel out of shape! 😜 We were well cared for, had a knowledgeable crew and an exhilarating ride. You don’t go too far but it is incredible to see the falls from the water! The captain was terrific We got completely soaked which on a hot Sept day was fine. A few tips…. Don’t take any of your belongings. While they locked everything up for us on land you don’t need anything as it will get drenched. Or bring your own dry bag. Wear a bathing suit, did I mention you get drenched! We had water breaking over our heads. Fun afternoon!

        In awe of nature
The jet boat ride was fantastic, with views of the falls from the boiling pot you can’t see any other way. The water level determines what you can and can’t do so we were a bit restricted but went back and forth between rapids under the bridge and got absolutely soaked. The path down is very very steep and I was so grateful that our guide Brian helped me all the way down and back. I had a tremendous feeling of accomplishment that I did it.

        Absolutely incredible!
This was definitely a highlight of my first trip to Vic Falls! The Shearwater Adventure Jet Boat exceeded all of my expectations and is something I will never forget! The views were absolutely incredible, the crew were entertaining and they were extremely supportive, they really did everything they could to make sure we were having the best time and ensuring our safety at all times. This is an activity I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an adventure at Vic Falls. I felt safe throughout this whole experience. The boat engine is incredibly strong and the boat driver is so skilled at what he does. Thanks team, we will definitely be back :)

Bit ride was great fun but trek up and down is not for the faint hearted
Boat ride was great fun, we went right into the boiling pot at the conjunction of the Zimbabwe and Zambia falls, and the rapids were fun. The boat trip itself is about 40 minutes and as others have said the descent and ascent down the gorge is treacherous and not for the faint hearted.

Rip-offs! charged us for the jet-boat activity and never intended to provide it.
Extremely disappointed: this company did not bother to inform us that the activity was cancelled until the day before; which happened to be a day AFTER we could have cancelled with no penalty. as it stands, they charged us for a service they didnt intend to provide. Additionally, they chose to not reply to multiple messages via trip-advisor a week before the activity in which we were asking when/where to meet. very un-businesslike; very un-professional... recommend you look for more reliable services/tours..

        Unique visit into the gorge
Brilliant experience provided by Brian and Justin. Getting into the gorge provided some special and unique views. We visited when water was high so view of the falls limited due to huge spray but added to the fun of getting absolutely soaked ! A scoot up and down the first three rapids and viewing the boiling pot at close quarters truly special. Be prepared to get very wet but very well looked after.

I now have to find a new thing to add to the top of my bucket list. This was a great experience. First time I ever bungee jumped. The entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe through the whole process. If you’re even thinking about it, just do it!

I have fear of heights but still I wanted to have a go at the zipline. Good safety all round with good details, instructed quite nicely by the guides.

Quite a beautiful experience and scenery when you are ziplining down to the bridge. If I go there again, I will do it again.

Well... if you are a dare devil and love the adrenaline rush i would suggest that you do the full combo. Paid for the 3 combo, Zipline, gorge swing and bungee.. honestly i would go back to Bungee..not so much the swing :) But the handlers experience...awesome....!!The video packages really are neat...better to do the combo too :) Didnt use the Go-Pro on the bungee though but next time i will.
My next trip back will be rafting and abseiling for sure!!!

Wow, ziplining was frightening... this coming from someone who has canyon swings and sky-dives often! We should of asked how we will get back. Essentially you will be left in the middle and eventually someone comes out to "retrieve" you. I would recommend the swing instead!

We booked the zipline experience and we were very happy with our choice. It looked frightening in the beginning, but once you start moving the surroundings grab.
The staff was very professional. They clearly explained what we should do and handled the equipment very carefully.
You should have in mind that the free shuttle is only at 10 am and 2 pm (it might be late a couple of minutes). It is clearly stated in the description, but I overlooked it and only by chance we were at the meeting point at time.
During the excursion you will cross the Zimbabwe border post, but you do not need a visa for Zambia as the activities are between the two countries.

It was an amazing experience. Despite the fact that you're jumping off of a bridge, I felt completely safe the entire time. There's beggers there that act like they are with the Team so just be alert as they will take your phone and try to charge you for the pictures they take with it. Stick with the guys in the matching shirts...they are awesome!! Highly recommend, so exhilarating!

I did the bungee in combination with the gorge swing and other activities with Zambezi Eco Adventures. Definitely was a thrill and so glad I did it. Bungee was around $160 but you only live once and this is one of the coolest places on earth to bungee.
