Full day of touring with so many activities
Adil was our guide, and he was wonderful. We really enjoyed his pleasant personality and his tour style. My husband and I were able to greet some of the local children and give them candy, we ate a delicious meal with a Berber family and buy argan oil from the women who make the products. Adil was able to set up a last minute camel tour for us and take us to a trading area - where local people buy food and clothing. We felt like we got to see a lot in one day. My only suggestion is that you bring a jacket or sweater - it was cool in the mountains.

          Wonderful day in Atlas Mountains!
Highly recommend this daytrip, which lasted from 9:30am until 5pm. Ibrahim our driver was very friendly and informative with impeccable English and was a very safe driver. We stopped on the way to learn about how Argan oil is produced from smiley ladies who run this roadside business as a female cooperative. It felt really safe on the roads up to the mountains. Hassan our walking guide was delightful and regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable, as well as explaining about village life. The circular walk was around 7k in total, taking in the waterfall, villages and a delicious tagine lunch. The snow topped mountains were breathtaking. A really enjoyable day to blow the cobwebs away after three nights in Marrakech. Wear comfortable waking shoes, lots of climbing!

          Unforgettable Experience
We had an incredible experience climbing Jbel Toubkal in winter with Toubkal Guide. From the time we booked, all the staff was super responsive and helped us with all our questions. Thanks a lot to Amina ans Karima! Hamid was an amazing guide, very friendly and experienced. He helped us reach the summit for sunrise at a steady but thoughtful pace, whilst always making sure we were doing good. Mustafa our chef was also incredible, delicious food. The experience itself is also breathtaking. Can only recommend to go trekking jn the Atlas while in Morocco and to do so with Toubkal Guide.

          Toubkal and Ait ben Haddou
We went on a two-day Toubkal trek with this agency, and it was amazing! Hamid, our guide, was fantastic—he really looked after us, helped us throughout the hike, and made sure we were always in good hands. The mountain refuge was great too; the food was delicious and there was way more than enough to keep us fueled for the trek. Everything was so well organized, and we’d definitely recommend this agency to anyone. What we really appreciated was how they helped us out with gear we didn’t have or wasn’t quite right for the hike. After the trek, we continued on to Ait Ben Haddou. We spent the night near Imlil in a guesthouse that was a bit farther from the village than we expected, but it turned out to be a great choice. The place was super cozy, and Hassan, the host, took amazing care of us. The rooms were comfy, and the views of the High Atlas Mountains were stunning. The next day, we headed to Ait Ben Haddou in a brand-new Land Cruiser with a fantastic driver. The trip was smooth, the guide was great, and the food along the way was awesome. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time, and we made it back to Marrakesh feeling really happy with how everything turned out. If you’re considering booking with this agency, go for it—they’re fantastic, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommend!

          A good experience
Everything was well organised. Driver Iounis was calm and safe and informative. Our guide Ibrahim went at a sensible pace. The walk of 8k was beautiful with good views of snowy Atlas up above. A good meal at the end on a terrace with lovely view. No real criticism

Amazing 2-days trip from Marrakech to Toubkal peak - fully organized and leaded by Ismail-Imlil Tour Guide
We had a pleasure to hike with Ismail (Imlil Tour Guide) to the Jebel Toubkal peak. Our guide organized the whole trip: - transfer from Marrakech to Imlil - winter equipment rental (crampons and poles) - trekking to the Shelter - accomodation - ascent to the peak in the morning during sunrise - trekking down to Imlil - transfer back to Marrakech - full catering during trekking ( lunch on the way and dinner in the shelter) Everything was perfectly planned and organized and planned, we hiked safe and reached the peak as planned. Ismail is great guy with huge knowledge about Atlas Mountains and Morocco, as well as excelwnt professional mountain guide. I fully recommend him as a guide to Toubkal!

          Great customer service
To begin with, before I even booked the trip, i had lots of questions about how it would be and other specifics, each time I emailed, i always got a quick and clear response. The customer service is so good. The hike was so good, i felt like i was always taken care of, they whole team clearly understand where things can go wrong and make sure you are safe. Before i set off, they made sure i had eaten properly and had enough water. They also made sure i had all the right equipment & clothing. Once we began hiking, Mohammed was always positive & friendly. Mohammed made sure i was always safe. I cannot recommend the actual hiking part enough! After the hiking was finished (& i was back in Marrakech), i realised that I had left my jacket at one of the places we visited, i emailed the team and on the same day, a driver had come to hand it to me. I definitely went out of my comfort zone but the whole team made it so easy

Very strong experience with a good organization company and the amazing guide Ibrahim.
I think the title of my review says it all. We completed a two-day expedition to Jebel Toubkal under the organizational auspices of toubkalguide.com on December 21 and 22, 2024. All communication before the expedition went quickly and smoothly. The transfer from Marrakech to Imlil was also completely arranged, as was the arrangement of all things with a very pleasant lady on site. The promised crampons were prepared for us, the backpack with sleeping gear was loaded onto mules and our guide Ibrahim was already waiting for us. He seemed like a great guy from the beginning. The first day of the ascent to the refugee in the base camp only confirmed this, because everyone who met him warmly welcomed him. The ascent to the base camp itself could be called completely problem-free, the journey flew by, we don't even know how. The next day I set off with Ibrahim after five in the morning from the base camp to the summit. There was a lot of snow overnight, but I'm not giving up. The climb up was really challenging in these conditions and thank God for the crampons we borrowed. We didn't reach the top until after dawn, but in these conditions it didn't matter - thick fog everywhere and it was still snowing. So we took quick photos and went back down. At that time, a very big snowstorm started and I would like to thank Ibrahim very much, who thanks to his many years of experience knew exactly what to do and where to go between the rocks to get down safely. It was challenging in that weather, but we managed. All the other guides and local Berbers in the refugee confirm that Ibrahim is the best guide in the entire High Atlas. We have lunch in the refugee and we still have a 12 km descent back to the village. I was already suffering from that, for me the descent is always harder than the ascent, really. Ibrahim supports us the whole time and for the last kilometer to the village (he finally took us to Aroumd due to time constraints) he arranges for me to be given a mule ride. We then drive to Imlil, on the way we say goodbye to Ibrahim, as we pass his house, and in Imlil I briefly meet the aforementioned pleasant lady from yesterday. Again, she smiles and congratulates us on completing the trek. We take our backpacks and the driver then takes us back to Marrakech, again exactly as agreed. I would highly recommend climbing Jebel Toubkal with toubkalguide.com to everyone, for all the reasons mentioned above. The price for all services, including food and accommodation, is really reasonable, the organization is great and everything agreed in advance is 100% exactly as agreed. I firmly believe that the other guides of this company are also great, but I will never stop believing that we were the luckiest when Ibrahim came to us. It's just a shame that the weather didn't turn out as we had hoped, but no one can guarantee or book this in advance. Still, it was a great and powerful experience. Thank you very much for everything and I give it 5 stars.

          A great private driver!
We had a great time with our private driver, Karim! He was very knowledgable and spent a lot of time taking us to interesting areas in the Atlas Mountains. On our way to Ait Ben Haddou, it snowed! He stopped whenever we wanted to take photos and stopped for us to see some berber carpets on the way. On our way back, we wanted to see the town of Ouarzazate, which was not on our original itinerary. He brought us there anyways! Karim was really wonderful-- we felt in good hands as a driver, and we'd highly recommend going with him. One downside: we did not enjoy our guide at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, which was not our driver's fault, although the Toubkal Guide company did contract with him. We felt rushed through the tour and he was not very knowledgable about the site. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs was honestly pretty underwhelming-- seems like a bit of a tourist trap. The best part of our day was the scenic drive!

The best day trip to the High Atlas
The company are first. Class. Hussein, the driver who collected us from Marrakech, Karina, the host/manager at our start point and Mohammed , our walking guide were all brilliant. The route we took was a challenge to start but the waterfalls and the views were superb. We got to see areas that we would never have found on our own. Everyone was so hospitable and the lunch stop was excellent. Finally, Mohammed, what can I say…. He knows everyone, known affectionately as the Goat , he was superb. Definitely the GOAT. Do not hesitate to use this company

We had a wonderful 2-day trip to the desert with Youness. Everything went as planned. Youness was always friendly and we were able to have good conversations about the country and culture during the hours in the car.

If we had a request or needed a tip, Youness was always there to help us. We felt very well looked after. During meals and in private moments, he placed great value on privacy. Really highly recommended. We would book with Toubkal Guide again straight away.

Erg Lihoudi sand dune + camel ride experience was unforgettable. Low crowd when we visited in December, hence you can enjoy the entire sand dune for yourself (almost). The night sky is amazing. See my photos.

The dessert camp itself is Le Chant du Sable (can find it on google map). We had a single camp for family of 5. Toilet facility is shared with other guests, but clean nonetheless. Do expect that this is somewhat an outdoor camping experience, so no heater or heated water or power sockets in your camp. But for 1 night, that's bearable.

Our guide & driver Hassan is superb. Friendly and flexible with our photo stop requests made the long journey didnt feel that long.

A stopover at Eit Benhaddou is a must (1000+ years old village / fort). Also if you are interested with local Berber carpets, is stop at a Cooperative Akhnif is also arranged. Carpet price here is already 20-25% cheaper than at Marrakesh, even without much bargaining (we bought a piece in Marrakesh few days before).

I have come to Morocco with my sister to climb Toubkal and spend two days in the desert. Ibrahim and Lahcen were with us in the mountains and we had an amazing time there, plenty of climatological adventures (wind and snow storm) so we won't forget about these days :)
After, for the desert, we were with Abdul Z as a driver: we enjoyed a lot the trip, the desert and the conversation as well (and he is a really good driver as well!).
It is really worth to go to the desert, enjoy the stars in the sky, the Berner music and sleep without any noise all around, after enjoying the sunset and wake up for an incredible sunrise :)
