We had an absolutely amazing 3 days with our guides Hamed and Mustafa. Not only was the trek up Toubkal an amazing experience, but the whole trip was made even better by these two who ensured the it all went smoothly every step of the way. The conversation was great, the food excellent and the local knowledge was fascinating. Karima and the team in Imlil were also brilliant and always happy to help organise transport, etc. Highly recommend and would certainly book another trip with them!

Hamed was the best guide for us, he took care of us all the way, made sure we had food on time, arranged everything in the refuge and made sure we were safe during the whole trip, would recommend!

Incredible 4 day Sahara private tour, starting in Marrakech and staying in various villages throughout the Atlas mountain range and the Sahara. We could not have asked for a better guide and driver than Ibrahim, he is a credit to the company. His knowledge was brilliant, making every effort to make my partner and I as comfortable as possible and to have plenty of fun! Having a local Berber who knows the Atlas and the Sahara makes all the difference, Ibrahim allowed us to have experiences we would not have come across otherwise, such as visiting beautiful Berber villages, Argan oil co-operatives and rug making houses. As well as driving us through the most breathtaking scenery and teaching us about the local culture along the way. The accommodation arranged by the guides was perfect, especially in Dades Gorge and the Sahara desert (Merzouga). A beautiful experience we will never forget :) Thank you Ibrahim and Toubkal Guide!

Four friends went on this private tour with pickup at 2 different locations in Marrakech, car ride to Imlil (with a stop at an argan oil coop), guided private hike, lunch and drive back to Marrakech. I contacted this company on WhatsApp through their website. I contacted a couple other companies also, but this one's high ratings got me. We paid 60ish euro each and then tips. Communication with the company was easy on WhatsApp. Reliable and on time pickup. The logistics were great. We were fit people and wanted some more strenuous hike without all the other fluff (camel ride, etc) but didn't want to be hiking for 6+ hours in a day. Mohamed our guide was fantastic. He was one of the highlights. Good explanation of stuff around the area. We went to visit a cool waterfall and through some of the local villages, ending at the highest one. We then had tea AT Mohamed's house in the village, which had one of the best views I've ever seen. Another walk along a road led us to lunch at another of the villages, where the food was amazing and just kept coming. Delicious. Finally, ended back in imlil. Overall, we were expecting a bit more truly difficult hiking, but the fact we did not get that was fine because the overall experience exceeded expectations for all of us. The views, seeing the villages, food was all tremendous. This specific trip could have been done by someone with low-medium fitness. Thanks for a great experience!!

We had a 5 day private tour with Youness - the best driver in Morocco! We highly recommend him for a fun and super helpful guide giving lots of information and help with places we stayed. He had great photo spots, and we went at the right pace to enjoy walks and activities, it never felt rushed. We wished we had one extra day in Dandes Gorge so beautiful for hiking! All the places we stayed were comfortable and had good food too. Highly recommend, can’t wait for our next trip with this company.

A group of 7 of us went on this Atlas Mountains/Berber Village tour in June, in two 4 x 4 s I have to say it was absolutely fantastic, we had one of the best days ever! One of the guides, Jamal, was incredible, his local knowledge was priceless and he spoke really good English. I cant say too much about the other guide as I wasn’t in his car, I don’t think he spoke as much but he was friendly and courteous. The visit to the Restaurant with the pool, (sorry the name escapes me) was lovely and the hike to the Berber Village was a great experience ( and the local Berber guide was again really helpful) , it was lovely to have tea in one of the villager’s houses. The mountain landscape views were amazing and we loved the visit to the market in Asni. We also loved the unscheduled off-road drive back to the hotel. I would also just mention that Jamal was concerned that we were missing the last scheduled stop, however we had to get back to the hotel for 6.45 for a pre-booked meal so I said I would make it clear to you that he wanted to work on so we didn’t miss anything! The whole day was incredible value for money, I don’t know how they can put all that together including lunch for the price we paid.

We had the joy spending six days last week trekking with Mohamed Sarkuzi, who guided us excellently to the trails of the Higher Atlas, over the passes, and all the way up to the summit of Toubkal to watch the sunrise. Mohamed knows everybody and everything about the valleys and villages. He knows how to plan a nice trip, so we reached our daily rests and destinations with a good pace and well timed for lunch and dinner. Mohamed was part of a team also consisting of Omar – the good cook who made sure we were well fed around the clock, and Shakira – the mule who patiently carried luggage and supplies. I cannot imagine a better way to experience the Atlas.

What an amazing experience! Our Mt Toubkal trek/summit was truly amazing made all the better by our fantastic guide Mohamad who was great, he was knowledgeable of local area, understanding, very good language, adaptable to the ground. All round 5☆ great experience all round.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time going from Fes to Nick and Bobo’s camp in the desert the. Back to Marrakech. The 5 days we spend with Jamal were amazing, and thanks to him it was a trip of a lifetime. Cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic experience

My 13 year old son and I did a 9 day tour using the services of Toubkal Guide: a 3-day trek to Mount Toubkal, followed by a 6-day road trip from Imlil to the dunes of Merzouga, ending in Fez. 1) the 3 day trek was a truly wonderful experience, our guide and our muleteer looked very well after us, especially after my son for whom it was quite a challenge to clim the second peak in Africa. We left the atlas with the most remarkable memories. 2) The road trip from Imlil to Fez was a very different experience but nonetheless a brilliant one, beautiful landscapes and sceneries, great choice of accommodations and especially I must say that we had the most amazing driver. Lahcen was very knowledgable about the whole area, always coming forward tho explain the culture of the region or coming up with a relevant interesting fact. He was always trying to make sure we had the best experience and made the trip a lot of fun.

Our driver was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure we met with our local guide and then was immediately available afterwards. He drove safely and was never in a hurry.
