Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech
Visit the Ourika Valley’s mountain villages and waterfalls on a full-day trip from Marrakech that includes a hike from Setti Fatma, photography stops in the spectacular Atlas Mountains, and a visit to an argan oil cooperative. This Ourika Valley tour offers the convenience of pickup and drop-off at Marrakech hotels, and you’ll travel in a climate-controlled minivan for a comfortable day of exploring.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Marrakech to begin the scenic trip into the Atlas Mountains, where the first stop of the day is the village of Setti Fatma. Stretch your legs on the short hike to a series of seven beautiful waterfalls that are popular for swimming, and enjoy expansive views across the surrounding valley from the trail.

After the Setti Fatma hike, you’ll see how argan oil is made at a local cooperative, and you’ll have a chance to take photos at the scenic viewpoints where you’ll stop along the way.

Your day in the Atlas Mountains concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.

Great day

Stunningly beautiful nature! About 1.5h trip from Marrakesch, well organised. There is a 1.5h hike up and down the mountains, the pace is well suited for everybody.

Good guide, standard tourist trap shops en route.

I guess I didn't expect only to get the walk to the waterfall and the Argan cooperative for the price I paid. The Argan cooperative was interesting but felt pressured to buy. The walk to the falls was fantastic - I was travelling on my...More

We traveled to the Ourika Valley in January which is he cool time of the year. You need to take with you warm clothing (jacket, gloves and hat) as there could be snow nearby. Also you should wear strong shoes or boots for walking in...More
