Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech
From US$29.64
Visit Essaouira from Marrakech on an excursion that takes care of the details so you can spend an independent day exploring colorful bazaars, historic ramparts, and the city’s bustling fishing port. Pre-booking door-to-door transport from Marrakech to Essaouira ensures a hassle-free experience, with a bonus stop at an Argan oil cooperative along the way.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Marrakech, or at a central location, for the 3-hour trip to Essaouira, a laid-back city that’s cooled by consistent sea breezes. On your way to Essaouira, make a stop at an Argan oil cooperative, learning how the golden oil is produced using traditional techniques.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, set out on your own to explore the compact historic center, ringed by historic fortifications with great views of the ocean. Sip a mint tea in the Moulay el Hassan square, browse for souvenirs at the bazaars, and try fresh-caught, local seafood at an open-air restaurant—you'll have the freedom to see and do what you want.

Rejoin the driver and group after an afternoon of exploring and begin the return trip to Marrakech, where the day concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.

Nice day out, but paraded around a few shops

This was a nice trip and the collection and return went off without any hiccups, but we were paraded around a few "visitor attractions" which we're really just well-decorated shops.

Inexpensive and comfortable way to visit Essaouira

This experience is what it is - just a trip to Essaouira on a comfortable mini-bus. And for that, it is a very good and economical option. The company that organizes it seemed very efficient, and all went smoothly. I recommend.
