What to Expect
After pickup from your Marrakech lodging, begin the scenic drive to Ourika Valley, famous for its waterfalls. Hike for stunning views of the valley, or opt to relax in a cafe by the river. Then, visit a Berber women’s cooperative to learn how Argan oil is extracted and processed.
Continue to Oukaimeden valley. Pass through traditional Berber villages, and snap a photo along the mile-high (1.8-kilometer-high) mountain road. Stop for your included lunch of items such as Berber tagine, couscous, and salad, served in a traditional Berber household.
Complete your tour among the fruit orchards of Asni valley with a view of Mount Toubkal (Imlil), one of the highest peaks in North Africa at 13,665 feet (4,165 meters).
Head back to Marrakech, or, if option selected, continue your journey to the stunning Lac Lalla Takerkoust and Plateau du Kik. This Atlas Mountains tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
