Take your Maui trip to new heights as you zoom above the treetops and enjoy stellar ocean views during this 2-hour zipline adventure tour at historic World War ll base, "Camp Maui." Follow the lead of your professional guide as you fly across one of the park’s seven ziplines of varying distance, cross the high-altitude suspension bridge and try other obstacle challenges. As you move through the park, you’ll have incredible views of Maui’s North Shore and the Pacific Ocean, plus learn plenty of facts about the island’s unique wildlife, culture and history too. Your trip also includes all necessary zipline equipment and bottled water. Be sure and check out the new museum at Camp Maui dedicated to the men and women who served there.
What to Expect
Want to experience a different side to Maui beyond the beach? This fun 2-hour zipline tour is the perfect way to get your blood pumping, while also enjoying a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking scenery of this Hawaiian Island.

Head to the zipline park at Camp Maui on your own, picking a start time of your choosing from the list of options available. The drive to the facility is 25 minutes or so from Kahului. Arrive at the site and strap on your zipline gear, which includes a helmet, safety harness and gloves. You’ll also hear a safety overview from an instructor before proceeding.

When its time to get going, your guides will first ensure you are safely clipped in to your zipline. They’ll also offer some friendly encouragement if you have any butterflies before letting go. Then step into the air as you soar like a bird through the forest canopy along your zipline, slowing down as you reach the other side.

Over the course of your 2-hour trip, you’ll experience seven different zipline attractions, each of which snake through and on top of the area’s forest of Eucalyptus trees. Build up the courage to try the highest ziplines, which reach heights of 70 feet (21 meters) and extend 900 feet (274 meters) from end-to-end, reaching speeds of up to 40 miles per hour (64 kilometers per hour). You’ll also learn to pass across several aerial transfer points, plus a suspension bridge that floats between two trees. Feel free to test out some aerial dance moves as you zip along each line.

As if your zipline flights weren’t thrilling enough, you’ll also enjoy incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, Maui’s North Shore and (if you’re lucky) rainbows. Novice and expert zipliners alike are sure to enjoy the course’s range of obstacles, along with stories from your guides about the island’s wildlife, history and culture.

At the conclusion of your 2-hour adventure, bid farewell to your guides as you make your own way to your next destination.

Fun, not death defying

Went with my teen and adult sons. The oldest might have referred a little terror, but we all had fun, did NOT have a trouncing van ride (see other zip reviews), and enjoyed guides Brittany and Micheal! Great Trip Advisor rate too.

not sure- check their website for that info. There were several people riding that were well over 200 lbs when we went.
