Overview
Get a bird’s-eye view of Kauai on an Eco-Star helicopter tour that takes you over the entire island in just under an hour. With large viewing glass, executive-style seats, and a design that cuts overhead noise by 50 percent, there’s no better way to see the Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast, Poipu Beaches, and more. Finish with an unforgettable descent into the crater of Mt. Waialeale, the wettest spot on Earth.
What to Expect
Meet your pilot at the Lihue heliport and board a new American Eurocopter Eco-Star, designed to reduce noise pollution and provide prime sightseeing through expanded viewing glass. Ride in comfort in business class-style seats and communicate with your pilot via a two-way headset.

The flight begins over the Hanapepe Valley, next swooping above Mana Waiapuna falls, featured in Jurassic Park. See the red ravines of Olokele and Waimea Canyons, the towering spires of the Na Pali Coast, the curve of Hanalei Bay, and the resorts of Princeville.

Weather permitting, the grand finale is a dip into the spectacular Mt. Waialeale crater, which gets more rainfall than any place on the planet. You’ll take in stunning views of the jagged crater walls and tropical waterfalls dropping 3,000 feet (915 meters) into the center.

Your tour ends back at the helipad.

The best way to see the island

This was our second attempt to take this tour because our first day got rained out. The pilots wait until 15 minutes before the tour is supposed to leave to make the call which was fine with us. We rescheduled for the next day and...More

Must do!

3/4 of Kauai is inaccessible except by air, so even though it is expensive, it was a must do. We have been on 2 Blue Hawaii tours, and it is a great company. Our pilot asked if we were interested in movies and showed us...More

Excellent tour and fun for everyone

Our pilot, Beth, is a superb guide. She was interested in what our group hoped to see in addition to the classic sights. Helicopter is the only way to see and experience much of the island, and the Blue Hawaiian aircraft are comfortable, safe, and...More

Amazing Helicopter Tour!!

This helicopter tour was one of the highlights of our trip! The views were breathtaking and our incredible pilot Brian was very informative and genuinely cared about the quality of our tour. We consider this to be a "must do" activity in Kauai!

We went early PM and everything was clear as day. When we were there in April, it was cloudy or rainy every morning but cleared up by lunchtime so we were grateful our outing wasn't in the morning! If you can, request... More

Sorry don’t know, and their website only says morning or afternoons. Will say that we went 30 moms after the group before us, and there was group behind us waiting for their pre flight instructions. So maybe every 1:30 or... More
