Overview

This Washington, D.C., bus tour is an affordable way to plan a day or two of sightseeing in the US capital. Instead of figuring out routes between main attractions, such as the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, book a bus tour with three routes. Move through D.C. at your own pace and stop at the sights that interest you. Tour includes admission to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

What to Expect

Begin your adventure at any of the Big Bus stops on any of its three routes. Show your voucher as you board, and you’re ready to go.

Between the three routes, there are more than 40 stops at popular D.C. sights and neighborhoods. Pick your preferred stops and use the Big Bus as worry-free transportation to and from attractions. Wait time for a bus varies depending on the route and time of year and ranges from 15 to 45 minutes.

Along your journey, listen to both live and recorded audio commentary for information about the city. Upgrade to a Deluxe Ticket for access to a special night tour of the city. Both ticket options come with an admission ticket to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

Book the hop-on hop-off bus tour ahead of time for seamless transportation to D.C.’s most popular attractions.

Chris Lee was our guide and he was comical and informative through the trip. My youngest slept through the tour which is a testament to our driver Miss Lillie! My oldest didn't pay much attention and wouldn't listen to the headphones but I don't fault...More

Great Way to See the City

It took three buses to find a great tour guide. Nvr was our guide on the red line yesterday. He was friendly, polite and humourus. Each of the guides had a completely different style but Nvr stood above the rest. By listening to him, you...More
