Susan went above and beyond to ensure we did not miss the hidden gems of the island. The weather was sunny, and we were able to fully enjoy the island's charm. I also appreciate Graeme’s quick responses, especially when I encountered misinformation about the tour on TripAdvisor (I thought we would be picked up from our hotel in Auckland). Without his prompt help, we might not have booked the ferry tickets.

This tour was absolutely phenomenal! My friend and I met our tour guide very easily at our pick up location and got to see so much of the island during our tour! Our guide also provided us with a lot of information about the wildlife of Waiheke Island and gave us some really good recommendations for the rest of our time in New Zealand. 10/10 would recommend!

We went to three different wineries, the views were beautiful, and our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would 100% take this tour again!

It was the perfect adventure for the day we landed in Auckland. Susan was wonderful, took us to great wineries and then to a fabulous restaurant for dinner. We were all tired from a long travel day and this was just the perfect excursion.

My husband and I spent the day on Waiheke Island on January 17, 2024. The best part of the day was the 4 hours we spent with Graham (sp) from Kiwi Connect. He was so informative about the island, the wineries, and New Zealand. He took us to some beautiful lookouts as well as the Postage Stamp, Batch, and Mudbrick wineries. At the end of the tour he dropped us off in town with some great recommendations for food and drink. If we return to NZ we will visit Waiheke Island and tour more vineyards with Kiwi Connect.

A really lovely day with Susan! Due to last minute illness and schedule change, I reached out to Kiwi Connect on a Thursday evening to see if anything could be arranged for Saturday morning - they were very accomodating, gave good advice and took into consideration a family member's mobility issues. We got to see a little bit off the beaten path of Waiheke and was so nice to have the tastings and food sorted for us on such short notice. Electric van was also great as well!

From the moment we embarked on Waiheke Island, it was clear we were in for a treat. The tour guide from Kiwi Connect, Susan, a perfect blend of knowledge and charm, welcomed us warmly. She was considerably adjusting for our request! The tour itself was a delightful journey through the picturesque landscapes of Waiheke. Our guide was not only well-informed but also had a keen sense of humor, making the historical and cultural insights all the more engaging. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the breathtaking sunset view. The guide knew the perfect spot, away from the crowds, offering a serene and almost magical vista of the sun dipping below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues. What made this tour stand out was the attention to detail. Susan ensured everyone was comfortable, frequently checking in and answering questions with enthusiasm. The pace was relaxed, allowing us to truly soak in the beauty of the island and the moment. As the tour concluded, we left with not just spectacular photos, but also with a deeper appreciation of Waiheke Island's charm. This tour is a must-do in NZ!

I would highly recommend this tour. We had 2 great wineries, and then a gorgeous dinner at an amazing restaurant. I liked how we had an itinerary but were still able to move it around slightly. Very flexible.

Graeme was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! We unfortunately missed the earlier ferry and he was so accommodating for us. We saw some really beautiful areas of the island and he brought us to see the roosters, which my 8-year-old absolutely loved. This is a great way to spend an evening!

First, they meet you at the ferry, which is very nice, but no where in the confirmation does it say look for the Kiwi Connect Taxi and tour sign. After a bit of wandering we were able to work it out. The electric van was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were driven to some beautiful beaches which we would not have found on our own. The guide didn't offer much background or information on the island. She was friendly and nice, but couldn't answer our questions about the infra structure of the island, how things worked, the economy and native and imported plants and animals. We were glad we took the tour, but it could use some improvement.

This was an outstanding tour. Graham is fantastic. Very knowledgeable, super nice and just a delightful person. Knows the area like the back of his hand and took us to outstanding places all over the island. Highly recommended for everyone.

We booked a last minute mini Waiheke tour in the afternoon before we caught the ferry back to Auckland. We had such a great time and turned out to be the highlight of our day. It’s amazing what you can pack in on such a short amount of time but our tour guide took us to so many interesting and beautiful places and had so much local knowledge. Thoroughly recommend!

A wonderful experience and great way to get an overview of the island. We were met at the wharf by our driver/guide Sue, who was great in showing us key sights and accessing areas where bigger vehicles cannot go. Very flexible, accommodating our interests, sharing her experiences and knowledge, recommending and booking lunch, Sue ensured a great time. So glad we did this. Highly recommended.
