- Guide339577780830 contributions10/10 Would Recommend! This tour was absolutely phenomenal! My friend and I met our tour guide very easily at our pick up location and got to see so much of the island during our tour! Our guide also provided us with a lot of information about the wildlife of Waiheke Island and gave us some really good recommendations for the rest of our time in New Zealand. 10/10 would recommend!Written 9 August 2024
- InHouseCounsel0 contributionsWorth the time to see more of WaihekeWe had a great experience all around on the Far End of Waiheke Scenic Wine tour. We wanted a tour that showed us more of the island, and this tour did just that. The wineries and views were great, and our guide was friendly and full of local information. Very happy that we selected this tour out of all the choices.Written 1 April 2024
- Q3585SMelizabethj0 contributionsA great girl's trip!We went to three different wineries, the views were beautiful, and our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would 100% take this tour again!Written 29 February 2024
- Bambi T0 contributionsPerfect first evening! It was the perfect adventure for the day we landed in Auckland. Susan was wonderful, took us to great wineries and then to a fabulous restaurant for dinner. We were all tired from a long travel day and this was just the perfect excursion.Written 19 February 2024
- tonylU5673MF0 contributionsBeautiful Waiheke IslandWe had the most amazing day with Graeme on Waiheke Island on the Far End Tour. The tour started with a visit to the Stony Batter Tunnels. What a fantastic experience. If you’re visiting the Island, do not miss the opportunity to take in this amazing bit of history. Then it wine tasting and lunch at Man O’ War. Another must with breathtaking views wherever you sit. This was followed by tastings at the Gin distillery and Mudbrick winery. Absolutely amazing scenery at these venues as well. Thank you Graeme for a wonderful experience.Written 16 February 2024
- 321jamm0 contributionsUnforgettable Sunset Tour on Waiheke IslandFrom the moment we embarked on Waiheke Island, it was clear we were in for a treat. The tour guide from Kiwi Connect, Susan, a perfect blend of knowledge and charm, welcomed us warmly. She was considerably adjusting for our request! The tour itself was a delightful journey through the picturesque landscapes of Waiheke. Our guide was not only well-informed but also had a keen sense of humor, making the historical and cultural insights all the more engaging. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the breathtaking sunset view. The guide knew the perfect spot, away from the crowds, offering a serene and almost magical vista of the sun dipping below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues. What made this tour stand out was the attention to detail. Susan ensured everyone was comfortable, frequently checking in and answering questions with enthusiasm. The pace was relaxed, allowing us to truly soak in the beauty of the island and the moment. As the tour concluded, we left with not just spectacular photos, but also with a deeper appreciation of Waiheke Island's charm. This tour is a must-do in NZ!Written 15 December 2023
- Funsies0 contributionsGreat TourI would highly recommend this tour. We had 2 great wineries, and then a gorgeous dinner at an amazing restaurant. I liked how we had an itinerary but were still able to move it around slightly. Very flexible.Written 4 December 2023
- H7631XPtrevorg0 contributionsLovely day on WaihekeOur private guided tour with Susan was excellent. The personal touch gives a feel of the island and the wine tasting is first class. Thanks for a fun day.Written 8 September 2023
- katespace770 contributionsWonderful tour!Graeme was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! We unfortunately missed the earlier ferry and he was so accommodating for us. We saw some really beautiful areas of the island and he brought us to see the roosters, which my 8-year-old absolutely loved. This is a great way to spend an evening!Written 5 August 2023
- S T0 contributionsConvenient, nice sites, but depends on your guideFirst, they meet you at the ferry, which is very nice, but no where in the confirmation does it say look for the Kiwi Connect Taxi and tour sign. After a bit of wandering we were able to work it out. The electric van was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were driven to some beautiful beaches which we would not have found on our own. The guide didn't offer much background or information on the island. She was friendly and nice, but couldn't answer our questions about the infra structure of the island, how things worked, the economy and native and imported plants and animals. We were glad we took the tour, but it could use some improvement.Written 4 August 2023
- Whitney l0 contributionsPerfect way to spend an afternoon.Graeme was an incredible guide. We took the wine tour the day we arrived in Auckland and Graeme could NOT have been a better intro to this great country. The tour was beautiful and he was a thoughtful guide. He talked to us the whole time and made adjustments along the way that he thought we would like to see. Graeme was very knowledgeable about the island and took us to some neat little treasures. The three wineries we visited had their own unique bit of special. I could not more highly recommend this company and Graeme!!Written 19 June 2023
- fezzik88880 contributionsA Must-Do Day Trip When in AuklandThis was an outstanding tour. Graham is fantastic. Very knowledgeable, super nice and just a delightful person. Knows the area like the back of his hand and took us to outstanding places all over the island. Highly recommended for everyone.Written 18 June 2023
- martysG5800TD0 contributionsSplendid TourA personal, informative tour with Graeme : the history, layout and amazing views Highly recommend :)Written 14 June 2023
- Roamingtheplanet1110 contributionsGreat tour if you are short on time.We booked a last minute mini Waiheke tour in the afternoon before we caught the ferry back to Auckland. We had such a great time and turned out to be the highlight of our day. It’s amazing what you can pack in on such a short amount of time but our tour guide took us to so many interesting and beautiful places and had so much local knowledge. Thoroughly recommend!Written 9 June 2023
- apotheosistraveller0 contributionsExcellent!Hands down one of the greatest experiences!! We only had a day on the island and we wanted to visit the other side of the island so we did a 6 hour far end wine tour covering 4 wineries including lunch. All the wineries were wonderful and the people were very friendly. The weather was not great but it didnt really matter as we had such a great time. Our guide was absolutely brilliant and added so much to the great experience.Written 8 June 2023
