Avoid like the plague. Rude staff. Staff spilt sauce all over me, no apology and then avoided me. Worst place I’ve ever been to. Onion rings hard and very dry and unpleasant.

Always a favourite when we come here. So much to do for adults and kids. Food is great, wine is great, staff are great….. always a buzzing atmosphere.

Two hungry individuals and the wild it was Really tasty burger and chips for myself and a pizza for the partner, knocked back with a couple of beers and a few wines The service was good and the food was fast to come out. Value for money and some places on the island all think you flew in on your private helicopter. Even the Australian was funny 🐨

Booked lunch for 1pm. Was shown a table, sat down then went to look at what beer was on tap. By the time we got back our table (2mins) our table was given away which was awkward. Then sat for 15 mins trying to get served. When we finally did they let us know they couldn’t take a food order because the kitchen was too busy. But they did want to take my credit card away as a deposit! Absolute shambles. Went next door to stony ridge and had a great experience

We felt it was a terrible experience, less than 1/2 glass wine & no point tasting what you can’t buy. Tasting just handed to us as they were busy doing group wine tastings. Don’t bother

We were a party of 3 out to spend our afternoon wine tasting. This was the fourth of four stops on our ad hoc Waiheke Island winery tour. We arrived around 4 p.m. without reservations looking to do a wine tasting. The restaurant/pub was an open air covered pavillion structure - furnished with very comfortable seating I would add. The grounds were set up for a number of outdoor activities which was interesting and a very large group was already seated with festivities on-going. It is easy to see this is not your average winery/brew pub. After checking out the wines available for tasting, we switched to beer - a very good call on our part. We reviewed the available beers with our server and set about ordering flights of beer and appetizers for the table. It was a visit with good beer, good food, great service in a unique setting. We HIGHLY recommend this vineyard/craft brewery for your own wine/beer tasting tour.

Excellent place for lunch and a beer (or wine). Staff were amazing and friendly. The food was excellent. Hubby and I visited twice for lunch during our stay on the island and both times food and staff were excellent.

Stopped here for lunch, good food and service. Amazing restaurant with a huge indoor outdoor flow. Relaxed atmosphere yet contemporary and modern. Outdoor games available for all ages, lounging outdoor beanbags and all around a great spot!

Friendly & knowledgable staff Brewery & Winery - I highly recomment the Wasabi beer if they are still making it! Great food - platters & meals Fun activities - lawn darts, clay pigeon shooting etc Fun times!

We were there for lunch and activities for a 60th birthday. Such friendly staff, delicious food, well organized, lovely wine, great atmosphere. Definitely worth a return visit.

Started our wine tour here and it set the bar. Unfortunately, none of the other vineyards matched the hospitality. Fabulous setting, superior wines, great photos and a superb host who was genuinely enthusiastic about wine making and sharing knowledge. Generous tastings, comfortable seating and surrounds. Highly recommend.

Wild on is vineyard place with fine food and wine but also activities to help entertain guests or attract more adventure oriented visitors. Both archery range and electronic clay shooting were fun and 30 minutes passed so fast that I was only beginning to have real fun. Meals served with vine weren’t the best I had in my life but nothing too bad either. Worth noting Wild On accommodated our large group of friends on busy weekend despite not having made any reservations so big thumbs up for their customer oriented approach. Great fun!

I organised a family reunion (24 of us) and we wanted to be there for Sunday Roast special as it appears to be a very famous meail at Wild on wire. Not only they facilitated everything for us to be comfortable, and enjoy our stay; they also allowed us to stay later than usual (we supposed to leave the table at 2.30 which was fine by us) so we stayed until 4pm drinking, playing games and even though it wasn't a nice day to be ouside, we still had lots of fun. I think it is quite important to highlight that when someone organises an event like me who gets a lot of anxiety becuase i wanted to make sure everything went well, they did a superb job! The host was top notch. it's been ages since I have seen top class service. great for families, kids all ages or even "pals get together".. very classy, fancy, lots of style so it is a combination of family friendly but also a very nice place to go with friends or couples. Visited restaurant for lunch on busy Anzac weekend. Hadn’t booked but they accomodatingly gave us outdoor setting for 6(2 preschoolers, 4 adults) and let’s trust the showery weather to not dampen our experience. Only one light scud which sun umbrellas ☂ helped keep us dry. Lovely lunch, kids started with chicken skewers entree (with chips and tomato sauce 😀), adults shared a lovely cheeseboard with condiments 👌then ordered 2 house pizzas, fabulous flavours, light bases topped off with house Pinot Gris a nice drop. This place has outdoor fun activities for both young and old. Full marks to all the team, lovely experience.

We did both the skeet shooting and the archery. Our host was very good. Took his time with safety briefings and explanations/advice on shooting and archery. He made both experiences very enjoyable.
