      FASCINATING AND FUN!
This was the best way we could have started our holiday. Fresh air, a little light exercise (those e-bikes really help on the hills!) beautiful scenery and interesting history and anecdotes from our Maori guide. She was exceptional; highly educated, very lucid, great sense of humour and a strong connection to her Maori roots. We had a wonderful day.

Fascinating hike while learning Maori history
We recently had a very interesting 4-hour hike of Waiheke Island led by Vince, a University of Auckland Professor. We saw the beautiful landscapes of the island, while learning about the geography and plant life of the island, along with the Maori history of New Zealand. It was a fascinating afternoon and we learned a lot. We would highly recommend this tour.

      Exhilirating day on Waiheke
We spent a fun, informative and active few hours with Robyn of Hike Bike Ako on Waiheke Island. Robyn met us at the ferry building where we joined another couple for a fun day of hiking, cycling, wine tasting, all the while learning about the Maori culture and people. Thanks Robyn for a fun day!

The best way to explore Waiheke Island!
Robyn is the best tour guide ever! We started off the tour at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. We proceeded on a hike up the mountain side while learning about the history of the Maori people and Waiheke Island. We then took a bike ride through the island and ended up at a vineyard for a wine tasting. I had issues with my bike and Robyn was great enough to find another bike for me. We then road our bikes through other parts of the island and learned more about Maori culture. We finally ended up in the downtown area where Robyn gave us some great tips on beaches to explore, places to eat, and places to buy souvenirs. The entire day was both fun and educational. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Auckland and Waiheke Island!

      Great service
Robyn and Kepa are such lovely people. My son and I booked a half day tour and I got it wrong by going to the wrong Ferry terminal and destination. Robyn waited for us as we got a taxi to the other side of the island. The tour was very informative, the safety aspects all covered off and the bikes were in good condition. The whole group rode together and it was an easy and relaxed yet informative tour. I could have easily done more than the half day tour. We all went as a group for lunch and Robyn and Kepa joined us. They are both friendly yet professional. We also had to get back to the ferry terminal and as our taxi hadn't arrived, once they had loaded the bikes back on the trailer, Robyn and Kepa dropped us off. Exceptional customer service and such lovely people. If you are going to see Waiheke this is a great way and Robyn and Kepa the ideal hosts.

      Best ever Waiheke ride
Robyn was an excellent story teller. She connected with with our family from the start and she was very friendly. We rode to places that we would never have found ourselves. We really appreciated the opportunity to learn about the history of Waiheke island and the Maori culture. Thumbs up from our teenagers.

A Memorable Day on Waiheke Island
Our group of 4 chose to do the full day hike and bike tour. We started with our hike along the coastal cliffs which provided breathtaking scenery. Then we hopped on comfortable bikes to explore the island. We stopped at Cable Bay Vineyards, saw Maori sites and had a picnic lunch on the beach. Jacquelyn was a terrific guide! She was knowledgeable and so kind. She traveled at our pace and stopped when we wanted to take photos or needed breaks. This was a perfect way to spend the day on Waiheke Island. We highly recommend this tour.

      Fun day with Robin
We had a lovely day with Robin biking, wine tasting all while learning about the Maori culture. I could have asked for a better day. The bikes were top notch - we had vests and helmets too. A must do with Robin on this amazing island

      Incredible guide
We had an amazing day exploring Waiheke Island with Jacqlyn! She allowed us to go at our own pace and take tons of pictures. Very knowledgable about the area, birds, and fauna. Beautiful island!!!

HIghlight of my visit to Auckland
I'm so glad to have joined Robyn in February on a half-day cycle tour of Waiheke Island. It was the highlight of my visit to Auckland. Robyn's authoritative knowledge is woven in with fun and frivolity and the beauty of nature for a perfect mix. If Robyn suggests a baguette at the French place, don't hesitate to agree it sounds like a great lunch idea.

Good mixture of sights and views - with some Maori culture too
We really appreciated the guided tour and have no doubt we went to places we wouldn't have seen by ourselves. Kepa was our guide for the day.

      Informative and fun
We learned so much about the history and culture of Maori and Waiheke Island while cruising up and down the hills with our guide who did such a good job hosting the tour. It was a 3-hour tour, she took us to hike and bike along the beach and to visit Cable Bay vineyard and some of the Island's historical Maori sites. Truly recommended!!! We should have done a longer tour... :)

      Perfect day!
Dr. Robyn met us at the ferry with a bright smile and lots of energy. She really has crafted the most perfect day. You start with a easy hike along the cliffs with stunning views, all the while learning some history of the island and the Maori people. Photo ops abound. Then at the top you get on new well maintained bikes with all the safety gear and head to a beautiful winery for a tasting. Then its down hill for a thrill into the village. Thanks for a wonderful day and all that we learned.

We thoroughly loved our hike on Waiheke Island. Our Maori guide had incredible insights to the area and Kiwi history as a whole. The scenes were stunning, the winery visited was great and we loved hiking across the island to build up an appetite.

What an amazing and beautiful walking tour Robyn gave us. It was just perfect, a lovely nature walk on that wonderful peaceful island with her giving us many fascinating insights about both the land and Maori culture. And what beautiful sights! Highly recommended. Many thanks, Robyn, it could not have been better!
