100/10 Everyone Should Go! (And possibly cure your fear of heights!?)
Nov 2020
I am afraid of heights but the staff here made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, it was the best experience of my life! So good, in fact, I have since been again and would love to go another time. EcoZip has become a Waiheke Island staple for me and I don't think I'll visit the island again, or Auckland for that matter, without going for a Zip! The first time I went I was with a group of friends in the blazing heat and the second time was with my partner just as a sub-tropical storm was coming in. Both times were incredibly fun and different. I really enjoy the nature walk and conservation talk on the way back to HQ after as well.

On our sub-tropical storm adventure trip their EFTPOS machine went down and they very kindly gave us the photos (one attached here) for free! Just goes to show this business really care about their customers.

Amazing experience
Jan 2021 • Couples
For someone who usually backs out at the last minute to avoid heights, this was a magnificent experience. It’s that I want to but I don’t want to moment. Alex and Tim explained everything really well and I felt very safe in their capable hands.

Thoroughly enjoyable .

Thanks so much guys, I can tick zip lining off my list and I think I might even do it again!

Wonderful Waiheke experience for our staff Christmas party with helpful and knowledgeable staff. After being dropped off in Oneroa for lunch, we were walking to the ferry and bumped into Nooroa our driver, who had finished work for the day. He kindly offered to drive us all down anyway, saving us getting rained upon. The true spirit of Waiheke personified.

Over too soon
Mar 2020
We booked to do this during our Cruise around New Zealand, caught the ferry over from Auckland. We were greeted at the terminal by the driver who drove us into the forest for our experience.

The guides were great, explained everything at each point, making every as clear as possible.

We started on the adventure with a few other members and all had a great time. The only thing I would say is that they were over too soon, the views were amazing, you went so fast and I could have gone again so that I could see what I missed the first time.

The only draw back for us as a group was the walk back, we were sold this as a first walk and tour, they did not explain that it was walking back to the starting point through the forest, this was a tad annoying, but should have realised in all honesty.

Good trip though, recommended for those who love zipping, or those who have never tried it.

Wonderful experience
Mar 2020
Absolutely fantastic event from start to finish, met at the Waiheke ferry terminal by David who was very friendly and informative as he took us to the zip line location. The friendly staff at the zip line took our details before we met Jayden and Stella who were marvellous putting everybody at ease with their professionalism and humour and most of all safety consciousness before we put on our harnesses, hard hats etc. We then did our three zip slides, which get more and more steeper and faster, all the time being guided safely by Jayden and Stella. The walk back up to the zip wire centre is interesting and you get an informative and humorous talk as you go. We were then taken back to the lovely little town near the ferry port by Davide who again was friendly and informative. A must do experience even if you are a bit of a scaredy like me.

Fantastic zip lining experience!
Cannot compliment this company and the experience enough. They organised transport from the jetty when the ferry was overbooked with passengers from a cruise ship to make sure we didn’t miss the time we had booked. The views from the zip lining were amazing and the eco tour very informative. Our guides Jayden and Kellie were both professional and hilarious. Most importantly we felt safe 🙂A great experience that we would highly recommend.

What an awesome experience flying over vineyards and native bush. Great team of people who are very passionate about the experience that they provide, the philosophy of the business and the island they live and work on.
