          In theory amazing...
In practice, first manage to book a tour. 3 times for 3 dates on 2 different tours I tried to purchase a ticket. But 3 times, despite the website saying there were available seats, I was bumped off. Would it be that single travellers aren't commercially interesting?

Great Way to Make Your Way to Vilnius
I would highly recommend if you want to experience some new sites outside of the cities. Laura was very energetic & the group is small enough that you get the personal touch.

          A Great way to Transit
I can highly recommend Traveller Tours. We had a private tour from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide/driver Daumants arrived early, spoke excellent English and was delightful. He was happy to personalise the tour to our preferences and never rushed us.

Absolutely the best way to transfer!
I can't recommend this tour enough. We were a group of 8 women traveling together, and this transfer tour made the process of moving all of us (and all of our luggage) from one city to the other not just completely painless, but also genuinely enjoyable. Turning the day into a lovely, relaxed tour where we could get out and wander and see the incredible sights along the way turned what could have been a boring transfer day into a truly memorable part of our trip. The lunch was wonderfully chosen and really a highlight as well. Most of all, our guide Laura just stole the show. She was an absolute delight, and incredibly gracious and accommodating to our big group. Definitely a great choice!

The best way to travel between Riga and Vilnius!
This is the best way to see both countries more than just the capital cities and it's the most time-efficient way. So much better than a boring bus ride if you go direct between the 2 cities. I had wanted to visit the Hill of Crosses before coming to this region, and it would have been an extra day's excursion from Vilnius if I hadn't joined this tour. It was a fantastic trip! I also had chance to visit some places that I hadn't heard of before. Laura was very friendly, enthusiastic and fun. I feel very lucky to have her as the guide. Unless you are flying or self-driving, this tour is your best option travelling between Riga and Vilnius!

Best way to travel from Vilnius to Riga
Todella loistava päiväreissu Vilnasta Riikaan. Pysähdykset olivat sopivia, sai rauhassa tutustua paikkoihin ja opas kertoi mielenkiintoisesti historiasta. Ristien mäki, Rundalen palatsin puutarha sekä Holokaustien uhrien muistomerkki olivat vaikuttavia, ja vaikka oli kokopäivän reissu, jaksoi hyvin aamusta iltaan mennä. Wonderful sightseeing tour from Vilnius to Riga, I am super glad I took this instead of normal shuttle bus! Our guide Laura was amazing, she was telling interesting facts about the sights and then we had enough time to explore them. Even though this is full day trip, it was super relaxed way to travel from one city to another.

What a way to spend a day
Fantastic trip that turned a dull coach trip into a full day of sight seeing. Loved every second of the trip and the sights throughout. Laura was an amazing guide and kept the energy up and the tunes pumping!

An excellent way of traveling from Riga - Tallinn
We booked a private tours for my parents (in their 60s) and I to travel from Vilnius - Riga - Tallinn. We took the Vilnius - Riga tour first, then this tour Riga - Tallinn. Our tour guide for this tour was Mike, he was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable at the locations we visited. The trip was such a great experience, I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Zero complain.

          Interesting and fun
We took the trip on August 26th and it was well worth it as was the trip from Vilnius to Riga. There is temptation to just see the 3 Baltic capitals but this is a mistake. These trips enable you to see more of the 3 countries. This tour had 5 different uInteresting stops plus an excellent lunch at a brewery. Mike the guide was excellent.Highly recommended

Best way to travel from Riga to Vilnius (or vice versa)
Our guide Laura was very welcoming, knowledgeable and successful in making us excited to visit Lithuania for the first time. The day tour was great value for money in my opinion, much better than just catching a coach. We saw interesting stops between Riga + Vilnius that we would have totally missed otherwise. It was a small van so you were never waiting around for other people. The lunch stop was good, no complaints. Ps. Traveller Tours are really good to deal with, any issues with bookings that arise their team were really responsive and professional.

          Great transfer tour
Brilliant way to see more out-of-the-way places between Riga and Latvia. Laura had endless enthusiasm for her country, and was so helpful. Trip ran on time and comfortable air-conditioned minibus. It's a long day but a fantastic trip, and the only way you're going to see Salaspils, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses and Kaunas in one day! Thank you very much - can't recommend enough!

          Seeing the country with Laura
This was a great way to see a little of both Latvia and Lithuania other than the cities, and was made even better by Laura, who had more energy for 12 hours straight than you could possibly imagine. This was my second tour and there were four of us who previously took the Tallinn-Riga bus two days earlier. The only downside is that the lunch restaurant ran out of beer, which I think may have been a capital offense in Lithuania, although the venison sausages were delicious.

          A wonderful option
I was a little nervous about booking this option for traveling from Riga to Vilnius. I was a solo traveler in my sixties who doesn’t like tours. I shouldn’t have been nervous at all. It was a wonderful way to make the trip, and to see a few things in between. Our guide, Laura, was just delightful — giving us the background of every site we stopped at and, of course, telling us why her hometown of Vilnius was the most wonderful place in the world. The places we stopped — the Salaspils Memorial, Rundale Palace, Hill of Crosses, and Kaunas — were varied and interesting. Sufficient time was allotted at each, and we arrived in Vilnius around 8PM, which at least in my mind was perfect. I recommend this.

The tour guide Laura was very enthusiastic and energetic. She also introduced the historical background of each scenic spot professionally. She also managed the time of the entire tour very well, allowing us to arrive in Vilnius safely. This travel itinerary allowed me to see monuments, palaces, Mount of Crosses, and Kaunas. It saved me a lot of time and trouble in changing transportation. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Traveller Tours’ Riga to Vilnius van tour was a fascinating way too see some of Latvia and Lithuania. From the moment our five person group assembled, Laura, our driver/guide set the pace for a very memorable day.
We were already talking comfortably among ourselves within 20 minutes, as we quickly cleared the Riga suburbs. Laura was a wealth of knowledge about the two countries and about the areas we were passing through. Most of the trip was along a two lane highway through to me surprisingly flat farm country, passing through very few villages and towns. There were stops at four separate sites - varied, interesting, and well-spaced.
Also a lunch stop at an interesting restaurant. The trip was scheduled for 12 hours, but Laura let us know early on that the duration would be closer to 11.

Booking this tour was hands down the best decision for traveling from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide Laura was amazing, knowledgeable and just a lovely and funny person. She really made the 11+ hours fly by. The stops along the way were chosen well, and Laura gave us lots of background info on the individual stops but then we also had time to just explore a little. The lunch stop was very yummy and a great location and the fact that she ordered our chosen food ahead saved us time. We travelled as a family of 3 and really can't recommend this tour enough (even our teenager had a great time :)

I needed to travel from Riga to Vilnius, but instead of just taking the bus, I decided to take this tour. Laura did not disappoint, with her enthusiastic description of sites and the related historic background. I left with memories of a great trip, new friends, and a deeper understanding of the Baltic region and its people!

This tour was the highlight of my Baltic trip! This tour is an amazing way to explore the countryside + the history of the places that we visit. Without doubt, this is one of the best ways to travel throughout the Baltics! If you are lucky enough , you are going to get the one and only Laura! As your guide! She is amazing, energetic, knowledgeable and really good with people! She conducts herself with such a professionalism but at the same time she is so funny and approachable! I do highly, truly, and utterly recommend this tour

A fairytale city, an enchanting and evocative historic center in medieval Gothic style with many bars where you can spend the evening. In the more modern part you can admire art nouveau buildings. Across the large river is a large and modern library from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Nice parks, theaters and some good restaurants. Worth visiting is Mesa Park just outside the city.

We had a wonderful day visiting the Hill of Crosses & Rundale Palace. Mikelis was a perfect guide. The history and stories he shared were interesting and informative. The ride didn't seem so long listening to his interesting facts (he even jovially endured a geography quiz from my son). Mikelis never rushed us and was great with the kids. We also enjoyed what the family is now calling "Lunch in Lithuania" at a restaurant that was off the beaten path with delicious food. He was communicative and reached out to me an hour before pick-up to clarify details about the location of our ship. Also, when my father worried he left something in the van, Mikelis was very helpful in rechecking the van for us and even offered to let us come check it ourselves Excellent customer service all around. Do not hesitate to book this tour!

We reserved this tour for four adults in our group for a trip 4 months from now. Then a few days later we received an email from trip advisory stating the tour operator had declined to accept the reservation with no explanation as to why. Availability calendar used for booking indicated it was available. Would have been nice to at least gotten an explanation. Fortunately there’s time to find another tour.

Because of Covid-19, it was tricky to know beforehand which tours would(n't) go ahead. So I contacted Traveller Tours, and they proactively kept me informed about what would be possible (thanks, Marii!). This tour was well worth it: Rundale palace has been tastefully renovated (the rooms! the parquet flooring! the gardens!), and the Hill of crosses is unlike any pilgrimage site I ever saw. Recommended tour!

Our tour was a road trip from Riga to Vilnius that included the memorial, Rumdale palace , hills of the crosses and Kausas. It was a long road trip but paced and done beautifully by our guide Daumants. Lunch was fantastic at a cozy countryside restaurant that you may not want to leave.
