- Stewart H0 contributionsBeware taxi scams when you disembarkBoat tour was good and they top up your Prosecco a lot. However the music is too loud which makes conversation hard and you need to get there early before they sail to get a decent seat. Worse thing is that if you grab one of the taxis waiting quayside when you disembark at the end they may charge you 10 times what they should. Beware!! Get a price before you ride. Most of our taxis will in BP cost us £8 whereas this one was £40!!Written 6 January 2024
- rachelhX5377SJ0 contributionsRoberto made the experience fantastic!I went on a bottomless boat tour with my 3 best friends. ROBERTO was an amazing host. He was so friendly and informative. The best service we had in Budapest by far. I would highly recommend this - amazing views of Budapest and excellent service, particularly from Roberto!Written 29 April 2023
- N5834ECronalds0 contributionsThe best way to enjoy BudapestWe booked a tour with drink and tasting plate, it really worth! Everything was perfect, free flow of sparkling wine, water and Limonade was good, but for the most of the guest it was too much sparkling wine, it would be nice to have any other choice of alcoholic drinks such like beer and wine as inclusive drinks (you can also order these drinks but you have to pay it) But over all the tour was fantastic, very friendly staffs, nice music and everybody could hear the imformation clearly The food was very good but it‘s not a full meal, we had to take a good dinner portion after the tour I really recommend the 7 p.m tour, you will get the perfect sunset!Written 24 July 2022

My friends and I with a total of 6 people joint the unlimited prosecco tour for 9pm session and I can say that the time slot and the experience are absolutely impeccable.
We chose 9pm because we wanted see the view during sunset and night time and the view of the Danube River. The boat itself is well maintained and the staff are quite attentive to refill the prosecco at the right time.
With the price, duration, experience and free flow of prosecco, I truely recommend this tour for those who want to do this as a must do itinerary in Budapest! It may be a bit chilled on the river during night time so get yourself a think jacket or scarf and get on board to drink :)

Incredible tour, highly recommend! Beautiful architecture, music and commentary on the buildings history.
Make sure to get there at least half an hour before or earlier, if you want a window seat. And be sure to wrap up!!
As long as you’re close to the front of the queue, you’ll get first dibs on where you’d like to sit. Personally, as we went on Valentine’s Day a seat next to the window, inside, was beautiful.
It felt magical, the staff were all very friendly! They were also very quick to fill our glasses back up, even when ours were only half full, they’d be over to fill it back to the top in no time, very efficient.
If you’ve payed for the unlimited Prosecco like we did, they also have fresh lemonade and water options in case you’d like something else to drink, or at least help water the alcohol down!
Once the tour had finished and the boat had been docked, I would recommend having a taxi booked so you aren’t waiting in the cold for too long. We booked ours in advance and it was ready for when we got off the boat which was handy, as there was a lot of people waiting.
Again, this tour is a MUST if you haven’t been to Budapest previously <3 I would recommend it to anyone.

This is the only tour I booked in advance in Budapest and it was 100% worth it. The waiters are very generous with their pours and come by quickly and repeatedly. The views at night are absolutely stunning and the boat itself is nice, with covered seating inside and open seating at the top. One warning though if you take the 9 PM trip, Budapest turns the city lights off at 10 PM so it's likely that Parliament will be unlit upon your return (don't make the mistake I did). Be sure to get to the dock 30 - 40 minutes early if you want to get seating close to the rail/window. I went solo but joined a couple at their table and ended up going out afterwards with a group of fellow cruisers.

Could have been a nice event, but many different reasons lower the rating, for example:
English youngsters use this as a cheap pre-party.
The quay is far beyond the Margareta bridge, difficult to access, be there in time to get a good seat on a real boat.
We ended up far behind in the queue because it was difficult to find here, which meant that we got a seat on an old, worn-out boat that was uncomfortable and made lots of noise and smelled of exhaust fumes. Not a pleasant quiet moment on the Danube, with big lamps and loud Englishmen who drank shamelessly a lot. As the icing on the cake, we were blown away by the taxi on the way there, they have set up a system to wait in place and drive drunk tourists off the boat, one price when you get into the taxi - another when you get out, we had to pay" night rate” of €60. On the plus side, however, very friendly staff and generous prosecco.

Especially in the evening, the trip offers breathtaking views of Budapest at sunset and at night. The waiters and waitresses keep pouring drinks, but are not pushy; they are very friendly and chat to you. The prosecco was good and mixed with the very tasty lemonade, it is perfect for anyone who may not like sparkling wine.
The ship is beautiful and well equipped with sofas and conventional seats. The music is pleasantly subtle in the background, only the announcements about the places you are chugging past are not essential.
I definitely recommend starting the trip when it is still light, so that in the 90 minutes you can see Budapest by day, at sunset and in the dark!

Me and my partner loved this experience. You are never left with an empty glass and the views were incredible. We went at 9pm and the Hungarian Parliament Building was beautifully lit so i highly recommend going when the sun is down. So so so impressed!

No doubt a five stars experience! Me and my friend had really high expectations for this cruise, and we were not disappointed. We went for the earlier cruise, which started at 19.45, so we got to see the city both at sunset and at night. I recommend getting there earlier if you want to secure yourself a table outside (although there are quite a lot of tables so unless you arrive at the last minute you should be fine). As far as drinks are concerned, they were really generous: every time our glass was empty (or not even) one of the waiters would come and fill it up, which was pretty cool 😎

We got there in good time, which was lucky because the boat departed promptly. There weren't that many of us so boarding and finding a seat was easy. The cruise is gorgeous, the staff really friendly, and the views spectacular (even on a cold, sometimes rainy November evening)! However, be aware that when you get off the boat, there is a line of taxis waiting to take advantage of tipsy travellers. I would recommend NOT getting into one of these - we did and had to argue the price down from about 90 euros to 10 euros back into the centre - and only managed to do so because we had cash with us. Use the Bolt app which works like Uber.

Must do if in Budapest. Tickets are a very good price for unlimited prosecco and prosecco spritzers too. I would recommend getting there early before the boat departs as the queue does build up and we just about managed to get a seat at the top open deck so if you don’t want to sit downstairs inside I would suggest getting there in advance for sure. The waiters kept coming over all the time for refills but you can also self serve at the bar or go to the bar for refill. Lots of amazing photo opportunities and the guide over the tannoy was very informative. Definitely need to go for the latest booking in the summer which was 8:30pm to ensure it is dark and you can see Parliament lit up as it’s very pretty.

I had a very disappointing experience with Rubin Group on 24 November 2024. During the cruise, a crew member spilled Prosecco on my £1500 Sony camera, which was damaged. Despite requesting to speak with a supervisor, it took several attempts to address the issue.
When we finally spoke to the supervisor, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the severity of the situation. He simply told us to send an email to the company, but no steps were taken to compensate for the damage. This lack of accountability significantly impacted our holiday, and we are extremely dissatisfied with the response from the staff. I would not recommend this company based on this experience

Hi, the music is loud or in the background? We have 2 kids 2 years old and loud music is not for us.

Yes, I wouldn't consider this to be a great experience for kids, especially ones that young.

Hi. Looking at booking this for my birthday 20th June. Would like a sunset timing but late enough to see all the lights lit up on the buildings. Would any recommend the 8pm or 9pm cruise? Sunset is scheduled for around 8.45. Thanks 🙂
Written 29 May 2023
8pm cruise should work perfectly to see Parliament lit up.

Does anyone know if this cruise/company still exists? Trying to book for early June and the dates don’t go beyond end May?

I was there on the 2nd May and had to book 2 days in advance minimum so definitely still in business I’d say 😊
