Overview
Budapest is known for its many iconic landmarks, but finding all of these dispersed sights in one trip can be a challenge. Enjoy an intimate stroll around some of the city’s most notable spots, including the Széchenyi Spa, St Stephen’s Basilica and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Learn more about Hungarian history and culture, with questions encouraged. Rest and replenish during the tour with a hot drink and 2 Hungarian pastries included.
What to Expect

Meet your guide at a centrally located meeting point, then board the metro and head over to City Park and Heroes’ Square. Wander through the park, stopping to admire statues of Hungary’s leaders, then on to the Vajdahunyad Castle, before strolling to the Széchenyi Spa, the largest thermal bath in Europe.

Next, hop back onto the metro and travel back into the city center to visit St. Stephen’s Basilica. Take a brief rest in a cafe and enjoy a hot drink along with 2 pastries, all included in the price. Then, walk on to Ferenciek Square and Vaci Street, keeping an eye out for keepsakes and trinkets, before heading down the Danube Promenade for views of Gellert Hill and the Citadel. Take the opportunity for a picture on the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, then conclude the tour in the Buda Castle District, with panoramic views from the Fisherman’s Bastion.

A good introduction

Bella gave us a good overview. Rain, renovations and special, weekend activities impacted, but she worked around them. Courteous and accommodating. May be better intro alternatives though.

If it is likely to rain I would suggest staying waterproof clothes and bring an umbrella. It rained on my tour but it still went ahead. I still enjoyed it.
