The water was pretty low but still a lot of action and even a little cliff to jump off. We looked at a couple of agencies in Bovec but these guys (actually girls) in the shop right in the town square were great, friendly, informative and flexible. We did the kayak trip with a great Catalan guide and just 3 in our group. We went back in the afternoon and hired a couple of electric bikes for 24hrs. Super fun and top quality kit and safety.
Highly recommended.

I'd always been tempted to give whitewater kayaking a try, and couldn't resist the chance to try it on the beautiful Soča river. I wanted to learn basic skills, rather than just be passively guided, which is why I opted for the 1 day Kayak School option with Aktivni Planet. I enjoyed it so much, I went back a second time the following week with my husband (who is a much more experienced kayaker). Albert was my guide both times and he was fantastic. A calm and reassuring presence, I felt very unhurried during the initial part of the morning spent learning about the kayak, paddling techniques and safety measures. Once we were on the river there was plenty of opportunity on grade 1/2 rapids to put things into practice and be challenged a little. All the while you are floating through the most incredible wild scenery. June was an excellent time to go, as there were so few other people on the river, it was a really special experience.

We had a great Kajak course with Feli. She taught us the basics of kayaking. Through her great explanations and fun exercises we felt safe to explore the rapids on the Soča River. She always provided us valuable hints for every curve and rapid of the river. Had a great time - Thanks Feli!

Our family had an amazing experience kayaking with Aktivini Planet. The weather wasn't initially optimal, but the team and general positivity more than made up for the weather. We loved our half day class and learned so much. Our group leader, Jaca, was absolutely top notch. He was patient, knowledgeable and was able to keep our 10 year old engaged and charging down the river. We highly recommend this company, guide and activity!

Did the one day kayak course and the zipline in the day after always with them.
Instructors of both activities were really proud of their job, helpful, funny and with a straight edge on safety.
I can't compare with other companies offering same activities (prices are standard), but I had very good time.
Next time, 5 days kayak!

Kayak school with guide Jaka was a very great experience. We had so much fun and will never forget it.
We would have never expected to safely go down that stream by learning it in such a short time.
Yaka is a very good kayak teacher, so patient, calm, security-minded a has a fantastic humour.
We can really recommend this activity and will definitely repeat it and take the next steps. Thank you.

What a great experience on the Soca with Albert! My husband is a class 5 kayaker while I am not. We had the best day with Albert and the river was absolutely stunning. I felt as though I was in great hands following Alberts lines and smiled my whole way down the river. They were organized, prompt and professional. I strongly recommend them for kayaking of all levels on the Soca!

We had such a great time with the Team from Aktivni Planet. All of them really nice, competent and patient. 😅 In our two days kayak school with Jaka (Jakob - teacher) and the drivers Andre und Micha we felt safe all the time and enjoyed every second. Also canyoning in Fratarica with Ricki - such a highlight! We definitely recomend Aktvini Planet. VERY experienced staff, great deals, awesome service and support. Thank you guys! We’ll definitely come back next season. Cheers!

We had a really good time with Nico and Petra ! Nico made us feel comfortable from the start with his good mood and jokes. As it was our first time kayaking in some rapids, we appreciated his dedication to help us learn and train until we understood the techniques. We definitely recommend them for beginners and would have loved to try the next level course if we had stayed longer in Bovec. It was my girlfriend's birthday and she had an amazing time!

I did a beginner's kayak course with my family (child 12 years old) on the Soča. The explanations were precise and important points were repeatedly announced before difficult passages. The group consisted of 6 participants and the teacher. 2 days later I was able to do the advanced course on another section of the river in a small group (3 participants and 1 teacher). The explanations were precise and important maneuvers were practiced. The courses were a lot of fun.
