We went on March 17th 2025 for the 80th anniversary of the closing of Stalag VIIIB (344). A commemoration service was arranged by the War Museum in Lambinowice. We contacted the Museum and Dominik responded by giving us the details and confirmation that we could attend and the start time etc. Lambinowice is not on the ‘normal’ tours list for operators in Krakow since it is around 2 1/2 hours by car, however Dominik suggested we contact Rafal at primetourskrakow.com. Rafal arranged a private trip with driver Thomas. I have to say the trip and the information Thomas provided was superb (he is an historian) and because we had time, he was able to provide much more detail and take us to lots more locations than a group trip. The museum, the Monument of Martyrdom, the railway station at Sowin where there is an original railway car that you will easily miss by thinking it’s just an old wooden shed, the massive graveyard, the Russian camp which still partly remains, and what I thought was most important (since there are no longer any remains of Stalag VIIIB camp) was the small track off the main road that was used by Stalag VIIIB prisoners to walk to work and importantly start of the Long March (18th January 1945). Just walking along that track was emotional knowing my father had walked that many times, spend a few minutes there in the silence. It is probably a once in a lifetime trip, a long day, but one I’m glad we did Good luck

Tomasz was great and made us feel at ease. The whole day was like spending it with a friend not a tour guide He was very informative and at times made us laugh. Tomasz asked us what we were interested in and stopped at places where we could take photos To top the day off Tomasz took us to a bonfire and we had a lovely meal with drinks Would highly recommend booking any tour with Tomasz

Rafal was always in communication, knowledgable, prompt and friendly. His service meant I could see Krakow and Auschwitz as a daytrip from elsewhere in Europe. I would recommend his service to anyone considering the same.

Wonderful day with amazing views and tasty local food. We were picked up from out hotel by Tomaz who looked after us all day. First stop was a village to look at Highlander Style wooden homes. Then off to Zakopane. We went up the cable car to enjoy the views of the mountains with a beer and some snacks. Tomaz waited for us and was available on WhatsApp if we had any problems. We then did a tour of the area and a stop and the most beautiful wooden church. Next stop, the National Park for our sleigh ride (horse and carriage). Wonderful views from under the warmth of a blanket. We were delivered back to Tomaz to cook sausages and mountain cheese on the bonfire. Highlanders tea warmed me from the inside out! We had a wonderful day and learnt so much about the local area and people from Tomaz. A great day, I can't recommend this enough.

This was an incredible experience and such a memorable day out for me and my wife. Ralf, our driver and tour guide, was incredible and made the day amazing, his local knowledge together with his great planning gave us an incredible day. If you are thinking of doing this trip do not hesitate and this company come highly recommended from ourselves. Fantastic day to the mountains. Our driver/guide Thomasz was brilliant. Made everything so easy for us to enjoy the experience from pickup to drop off. Very knowledgeable about Krakow/Zakopane and Poland. Well worth getting the personal touch with a private group👍 Thomasz was so accommodating to our needs from Toilet stops to extra time in the highland markets. My family and I did a customized tour that encompassed the entirety of our week long visit. During our stay, Prime Tours Krakow provided tours and transportation throughout the week. Initially was our airport pickup and we were greeted on time as we departed the terminal and taken to our accommodation near old town Krakow. The next day, we had a private tour of Krakow that included the old town area, Schindler's Factory, the castle, and the Old Jewish Ghetto. The next we were taken to Auschwitz Birkenau. It was a difficult experience to visit, but certainly one that is worthwhile. Prime Tours handled all the tickets and made the visit seamless. The next couple of days we traveled south to the Tatra Mountains and had an amazing time. We were able to go on a horse driven sleigh ride, enjoy great food and drinks by a fire and even took a day trip to a ski resort south of the border in Slovakia. As the trip came to end, we were able to stop at a thermal spa/bath and really enjoyed a relaxing afternoon there. Transportation was provided back to the airport early the next morning to conclude our trip. I highly recommend Prime Tours Krakow to anyone visiting the area. The drivers were great, drove safely, and ensured we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves the entire time. I will certainly use them again the next time I visit Poland.

We went as an 8 person family group (plus a 2 year old and a 4 month baby) Had a FANTASTIC time. The atmosphere and scenery was magical. We booked the 16.00 trip so it was just getting to twilight on the way out and was nearly dark on the way back through the forest. Everyone had a magical time on the horse sleigh going through the dark woods by flaming torch-light, then roasting Kiełbasa and smoked cheese over the log fires made a forever memory. We're all still buzzing about it now

We had a great time, our driver paul told us all about the history. He was so knowledgeable and a nice guy too. All in all it was a great day.

Paid £900 2 adults 2 children no bonfire no food or drinks went up a road took photo came back!! Have emailed since no reply totally disappointing seen few trees and people walk there dog

We booked several trips with Prime Tours Krakow. Absolutely first class service from Rafal and on one occasion Paul on our trip to Zakopane. Paul was our driver and guide for the day. Took us into Slovakia as a treat. We also did the Schindler factory trip and we were really happy with everything. Small things, like our flight was a late evening one and a call via WhatsApp to Raf, to see if he could collect our luggage early as we had to vacate the air B&B was sorted immediately for us. I would certainly recommend Prime Tours to anyone thinking of visiting Krakow, you will not be disappointed. Top quality service all round and we will be back again next year for the Christmas Markets and certainly Zakopane again. The sleigh ride then the open log fire for sausages, cheese and Polish vodka is not to be missed. Thanks Paul for the brilliant service.

We had an amazing time in Zakopane, our driver Tomasz was on time for pick up, drove safely and showed us lots of sites. His English is exceptional so we had some great conversations! He was super friendly and we had a great experience going up on the funicular, exploring Zakopane town and even quad biking through the mountains. A perfect winter trip highly recommend.

Excellent day out, the tout guide was excellent. Something different for a nice change. Explore the countryside. Lovely to see some snow.
