After learning a little bit about Balkan cuisine and culinary traditions, set to work making traditional burek, delicious stuffed pastries that originated from Turkey, but are now a staple of Balkan cuisine. Under the guidance of your hosts, follow a recipe passed down for generations in Melisa's family, and learn how to mix and knead the dough, prepare the filling, and shape the rolls.
While the burek are baking, prepare a scrumptious dessert, then sit down to enjoy your traditional feast, accompanied by a glass of wine.
