Absolutely! It is very safe as long as all stay on the trail. It is ten miles of walking, so if your family enjoys being outside for a full day of activity it is a great trip.

I agree. I took the longer walk and the only part of it that would be challenging for kids is the length. I read that the easy path is a much lighter walk, ideal for kids. Just bring sunscreen, water, and hats.

In terms of terrain and uphill, not very different at all! All the climbing is done early in the day when you're going up to the arch. After that it's fairly flat then down, then walking around river.
