We absolutely loved this experience and it was one of the, if not the highlight of our trip to Bohemian Switzerland. With little experience in bouldering and top rope climbing our amazing guide Yael took us to the top. She picked an amazing route, challenging and fun for us and guided us very well, patiently and enthusiastically. Giving amazing tips before, during and after climbing. We absolutely loved her and felt safe with her. The views are amazing and it really feels like a victory when reaching the top. Even of maybe even more so if you have been totally roasted by the sun while climbing ;). If you are able, please do this activity, it will be the highlight of your stay!

I went alone but the Active Point team was able to put me with a few other people that spoke the same language for instructions (they have tours in English, Czech, and other languages if a guide knows it). I came in without experience so I started with a climb guided by Yael, who was great at showing us how to climb safely and a route that was right for our abilities. The views of the castle and city from the wall are unparalleled, and Yael took plenty of pictures of us climbing to share as well. After that, the guided trip included rental of the ferrata equipment for the rest of the day, so I climbed other routes for a few more hours. If you already have ferrata experience, you can just rent the harness and helmet without needing a guide. The shop is not even 30 seconds away from the base of the wall, so pickup and dropoff of equipment is no problem at all. Definitely something I would recommend for anyone visiting Decin.

Great experience overall, but better communication on planning the return trip would be helpful. You need to take a train, bike or walk back. It’s 10 miles each way.

We enjoyed canoeing up the river to schmilka in Germany and biking back. The staff were friendly and spoke some English and the equipment was all good. My only slight criticism was it wasn't clear that we were waiting for a trailer to arrive with bikes in schmilka. We were expecting a shop or fixed point to go to but we made a phone call and were told they were coming and just had a drink in the cafe while waiting and it was worth a little walk up to the little brewery and bakery.

I rented equipment for the via ferrata, the service is top-notch - she advises, explains and is incredibly helpful! :-)

We rented scooters for a whole day and made a great trip thru Česko-Saské Švýcarsko. Scooters are good quality and well maintained. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Thank you!

We hired bikes and went on a SUP tour run by Active Point last week July 2024). The bikes were great (standard adult bikes) as were the paddle boards. Mostly though the staff in the shop were very helpful and friendly. When hiring the bikes they provided us with lots of local information, including recommendations of a couple of fantastic swim spots (swimming in the Elbe is not recommended). They were also flexible about bike pick up and drop offs. For the SUP instructions were clear for the meeting points and again, staff super helpful and friendly, with a great lunch spot recommendation. We had a problem involving our hire car and keys and the shop owner, Martin, went out of his way to help us out of a sticky spot (thank you again!). So, all in all, clear efficient website for booking and lovely friendly helpful staff with lots of local knowledge. Fully recommend!

As a family of five (kids 10, 13, 14 years) we booked a guided Via Ferrata and had a great time. Our english speaking guides were very experienced, enthusiastic and took safety very serious.

My family loved this activity! My daughter is afraid of heights, but her guide was very patient and supportive. The guide spoke excellent English and even gave us directions to the best ice cream and restaurants for after our climb. All safety equipment was included in the price. Would recommend.

We hired bikes from the tourist information centre in Bad Schandau and cycled down to Dečin (just over 22km). The cycle path was great, really smooth and accessible. Once we got to Dečin, we waited for the ActivePoint team to arrive and they kitted us out with our kayak and appropriate gear. We then enjoyed the 22km paddle back to Bad Schandau. The views of the rock faces and surrounding hills were just beautiful and we were lucky to have a glorious sunny day too. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

One day me and my pupils spent rafting from Děčín to Dolní Žleb and the next day we were riding scooters from Tisá to Děčín. We had amazing views and great instructor.

We rented a ferrata set for one day. It's a huge advantage that the rental is located a few meters from the wall! At the same time the staff is very nice, helpful. I can recommend it!

Organisation was fine, they helped with finding the best date and solution. We had trouble picking the date so they gave us another 6 months to apply our voucher. Thanks

Rented via ferratta sets for our group of seven and, after safety instruction from the worker/guide Martin, we walked over to shepherd’s wall (very close by) and climbed. After the climbing (which was awesome!) we returned our gear and talked to Martin for a while. The whole process was very smooth and enjoyable and Martin is one of the nicest people we’ve met in czechia!
