Kayak with Dolphins and 4WD Great Beach Drive Day Trip from Noosa
Go kayaking with dolphins and 4-wheeling on the beach during a 6-hour tour on the Sunshine Coast, just 1.5 hours north of Brisbane. Visit a National Park location that is only accessible by 4WD vehicle, and kayak around Double Island Point looking for dolphins, migrating whales, turtles, rays and more. Includes kayak equipment and instruction, light refreshments, and transportation by 4WD and ferry.
What to Expect
After meeting your guide at the designated location in Noosa Heads or Noosaville, settle into your comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicle for the scenic drive to Teewah Beach via the Noosa North Shore ferry.

When your vehicle disembarks from the ferry, prepare for a thrilling ride along Great Beach Drive. Take in views of the coast and the colorful sandstone cliffs along the way.

Arrive at the pristine paradise of Double Island Point, a gorgeous headland with a variety of marine life. There, your guide provides kayaking equipment and instruction before you set out on a guided kayak tour. Keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins, migrating whales (seasonal), turtles, rays, migrating birds, and soldier crabs. From the water, you also get a great perspective on Double Island Point Lighthouse.

Relax on the return trip along Great Beach Drive to Noosa.

We checked out the Whale season and weather forecast before we booked. Whales still travel through the area but you are more likely to see them on the horizon rather then up close. As to dolphins, they come in close and if... More

I’m pretty sure there’s dolphins all year round. It’s the whales that are seasonal.
