      E-bike and Wineries Ride
Most enjoyable bike ride, great scenery, quiet, peaceful, little traffic and on top of all that there was wine. Bikes were perfectly adequate for the flat terrain and easily capable of combating the unseasonable wind. Very helpful advice from the owner. Highly recommended. Stuart S.

      Great fun day out. Recommended!
Firstly hire an Electric bike it’s worth it. The whole experience was first class! The bikes were very good and Phil’s setting us on our way was good. He collected the wines we bought so we didn’t have to carry them. I had a puncture and very quickly he brought a replacement bike. Don’t underestimate the amount of cycling and our day was very hot. Excellent business can’t fault it!

      Amazing experience
Amazing experience! Electric bikes were so fun and the wineries just beautiful. Phil was so helpful and even waited at one of the wineries for our wine purchase to take it back to the base for our collection. Highly recommend. A+++++++

      Cellar door touring at it
This was such a fun way to visit the cellar doors in the region! Phil was super accommodating as we had a late start and picked up our bikes at 1 instead of noon. We still fit in 3 tastings (which was honestly plenty - they give you a good amount of wine!). If you buy wine while you're out, Phil will drive over to collect your bottles while you continue on so you don't have to worry about any casualties should you tip your bike over on the gravel driveways. We were glad to have the eBikes given the gravel paths and the wind the day we went, but it's mostly flat and would be totally do-able on one of the regular bikes. Helmets are provided.

Loved it, weather a tiny bit cold at 18 degrees
We had a great day (apart from very hard & slim bike seats). The cut through was a little trying (big gravel), but after that mostly plain sailing. The bike path was good for 90% of the ride and only a little bit on the main road (although cars whizzed past, they gave us plenty of room and not a lot of traffic anyway). Abby and Ash were our fav (recommend the flight tasting at Abby). Silini got a down vote from us as whilst it looked amazing, after biking all the way up the drive we were turned around at the door due to a cruise/bus lot coming in. A quick sign on the gate would have been nice...... maybe an led one, so they don't have to "go a whole km down the drive to change"<--- reason given for not having a sign. Only other wee whinge was that food being served or not should have been printed on the bike map, with all the tastings food became quite important lol

      Vineyard cycling and lunch
On Yer Bike Tours couldnt have been more helpful. We booked from the UK last year. They sent us loads of information about the tours, wineries and the dining options available. They switched our day as the weather wasn’t great. Bikes were great and well looked after with baskets for rucksacks etc. They even collected wine purchases from the vineyards to save having to cycle with them. I’d recommend unreservedly. Thanks for a great day out.

      Tasting tour in solo
Perfect organisation by Philip.I really enjoyed the possibility to taste wine without driving. Wineries proposed a large list of wine for tasting and the wines are wonderful

      Great Experience and Lovely Staff
Had a great experience with On Yer Bikes! The staff were very helpful and informative and also super easy to deal with when we turned up on the day with changes and drop outs and additions. Loved the service where they come and collect and wines you buy from the wineries themselves before the end of the day. Highly recommend

Fantastic service and a great day out.
Fantastic day out! Easy to book. We booked online the night before. Great quality bikes, with a basket and helmets. We had the upright style which are very comfortable to ride. The route had a bike path the whole way which felt very safe. Not all the wineries do food so some planning is required for a great day, the owner gave us lots of up to date advice when we picked the bikes up. Pick up was easy and it was no problem to get an Uber there in the morning. Picking up your purchases is included which is a great service. The owner also went out of his way to scrounge up some raincoats for another group and even offered us a lift! Fantastic service. 100% recommend.

      Perfect experience
We had great day exploring the winery’s by bike. The bikes were in a good condition, comfortable and easy to ride. They had baskets in the front to carry your belongings, but if you want to buy some wine, you can leave the bottles a the winery and the will be collected at the end of the day. Perfect service :)

When the sun shines, there is no place like the Hawkes Bay wineries! We had a stunner of a day and the wines to match it. Great going a little off piste and the padded bike seats made a lot of sense when we hit the gravelly tracks. Amazing lunch, tasty vino and even a celebrity appearance and chat as Oz Clarke popped into one of the vineyards for a tasting too.

Tour guide couldn't have been more helpful, helping us plan a route, collecting wine we purchased from the different vineyards for us to pick up at the end of the day and even offering us a lift back to our accommodation (since it was the end of the day and on his way!).

Bikes were good, and all the vineyards are within a short bike ride away making the tour highly accessible.

Only feedback would be to invest in bike mud guards, as it rained briefly creating a lot of mud which ended up on our backs curtesy of the back tyres =D

We booked last minute for 6 people including an 8 year old and we were accommodated perfectly. Bikes were comfortable and easy to ride, good bike for our young one and was able to keep up. We were provided a map and good advice where to have lunch etc.
Wine we bought was collected and waiting for us when we dropped our bikes back. Overall great family day out.

We hired the tandems for 2 x couples. We had a blast and the host of On Yer Bike was very helpful and even picked up the wines we purchased so that we didn't have to carry them back on the bikes.

The two wineries we visited were Oak Wineries and Selini both very helpful and generous with wine tasting. The platter at Ok was magnificent and they also took care of one of our party who is celiac.

Allow plenty of time if you want to do all the wineries as it is so easy to sit and take in the views whilst tasting to realise you have to cycle back quickly.

This was the second time I did this tour as a way to celebrate a joint birthday. I was worried it would not live up to my expectations from last time, but I can confirm it definitely did. First time I went I did the Gimblett route and it was rushed but we saw a lot of wineries and had a lot of fun. This time we did the Bridge Pa route and decided to take our time with it and see less wineries. One piece of feedback I would give is that it would have been nice if we had been told about the short cut on the Bridge Pa route earlier, as we might have planned to go to Sileni first after Ash Ridge. Cycling was easy for someone who is not great on bikes (I can confirm). We will be back! Thanks so much for the amazing weekend!

The Ride around Hawks Bay was amazing, the views were amazing and the wineries we visit were a just as amazing.

On yer bike was easy to deal with. We made a booking on there website the day before, which was easy to use. Phil was great with his knowledge of the area and the best way to get around to all the wineries. The bikes were in good condition and easy to ride (maybe get an e-bike next time bit sore the next day)

The day was great and we really enjoyed ourselves

First time on a tandem and so much fun. Easy to follow route around the various vineyards in the Bridge Pa area with wine tasting at 4 of the cave and included lunch at Sileni. We went slowly as it was very warm and took about 5 hours. Most of the route is on dirt and gravel tracks except for short sections on the road where traffic does wizz passed. Booking and bike pick up was easy and our wine purchases were there ready for us when we returned our tandems. A great way to do wine tasting!

All of the wineries were great on our approximate 10 km ride. Really enjoyed the reds at Paritua poured by Trevor. I think we could have stayed there all afternoon, but we peddled on. Great pizza at the Abby Estate and to change up the drinks to a cocktail or beer. Worth stopping in at the Oak Estate and ordering anything with their freshly made bread. All of our wine we bought was picked up by Phil and ready for us when we returned. A nice way to spend the day.
