We were lucky to be able to visit at a very quiet time - tourist wise. But even with more people around this would still be a well organised, easy to navigate and enjoyable location. It's a short walk from the car park to the blow holes. There are interesting signs to read along the way with lots of information. The rocks and the blow holes are amazing. Lots of viewing platforms. A must-see for New Zealanders and people interested in amazing geology!!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Bob as our tour guide. He was friendly, informative and had such a great sense of humour. He accommodated our wishes and was so knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and the little extras he did for us. Bob you are a star and an absolute gem….and the scenery and trip was amazing. We are lucky to have experienced this part of the country. The rocks are unique and so special. The tour is absolutely worth every penny. If you love nature and history…book it today! Thank you!

The Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes are unique. An easy walk in along a well maintained pathway. Try and time your visit to coincide with a high tide in order to view the Blowholes performing at their best.

This is an extremely well done walk. You could spend as long or as little time here as you like. Stunning views, great for photos, safe for the kids. It's been designed well, so although there are lots of people, you feel alone.

Such a beautiful place to see. We had the best guide with us. He was full of information. Our trip was for blow holes only, but our guide showed us many more things. Loved the walks he took us on.

Wow this was awesome. No need for a tour, just walk around yourself and read the information on the stands. Plenty of Blow Holes, make sure you wear a raincoat. So many spots to view so many different rocks and blow holes. Great paths to walk around, which make it safe.

Wonderful tour!! I highly recommend it! Perfectly timed for people arriving in Greymouth on the train. We took a lovely drive up to the Pancake Rocks and blowholes and we did a bonus bush walk (Truman's Track), then down to a green stone beach and we even got a little driving tour of Greymouth. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone coming up to Greymouth!

We had a fantastic afternoon on this trip to Pancake Rocks etc. Bob, our driver/guide was very informative and interesting. Once we arrived back in Greymouth he showed us around the town and up the hill to see the views of the ocean.

I ended up being the only passenger on this marvelous trip. My driver/guide, Bob, did an excellent job with comentary throughout the trip. He was very sensitive to the pace I set to allow enough time for photography. The Truman Track bush walk and the beachcombing were trip highlights. Great job!!
