Travelers who want to taste wine and more in Margaret River—one of Western Australia’s most popular wine-growing regions—can get their fill with this tour. It provides a guided journey through the region and stops to sample: wine, cocktails, liqueur, cheese, chocolate, French nougat, venison, and beer. Plus, get a behind-the-scenes look at winemaking, from planting to aging to tasting.
What to Expect

THE FULL BOTTLE TOUR

This full day tour will see you picked up at 10.00 – 10.30 am and dropped off at 5.30-6.00 pm. Remembering that departure and drop off times are dependent on customer location within the Margaret River Region. 

EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE

Your day starts with an introduction to the history of the wine industry in Margaret River. See what happens behind the scenes, you’ll be shown the processes involved in wine making, from the maintenance of the vines, to the oak maturing of wine.

EXPERIENCE FOOD & WINE

Your gourmet lunch at Margaret River’s iconic Watershed Vineyard restaurant is also complemented with a glass of wine based on your tastings. A special feature of the all-important tasting at Watershed is that you can enjoy a selection of wine tastings then make an informed wine choice with lunch. Your lunch at this iconic restaurant, comes with a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink with your meal.

DISCOVER MARGARET RIVER

During the day, you will visit several of the region’s finest vineyards and taste a selection of wines. You will also get the chance to indulge in some delicious chocolate at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and sample the world class cheeses at the Margaret River Cheese Factory.

For something a little bit different, a visit to the Margaret River Venison Farm will give the adventurous the opportunity to try the local kangaroo, emu and venison.

Your tour guide will show you the delights of French nougat whilst enjoying a selection of wine at Bettenays cellar door.

Be treated to a selection of liqueurs and cocktails during a visit to the Grove Distillery. The Grove can best be described as a place for everybody with award winning spirts, liqueurs and hand crafted beers. A great option is to sit relax and enjoy a cup something hot and mingle amongst you new friends.

Very good tour, excellent local knowledge - but should knock off the attempted humour.

Great value for money. A full day of cellar door tastings. A delicious lunch at a great winery. As well as wines and liqueurs there are cheeses, chocolate, venision and other gourmet delicacies. Our guide and bus driver was very good with the local history...More
