Incredible experience, really pleased to have gone with Nigel. It's a very good price in consideration of
(1) not having to drive your self on a sometimes challenging road
(2) make cool stops along the way with someone who knows the area and sights extremely well
(3) not having to pay for gas or parking if you drove yourself (it's actually a pretty long way from te anau and the parking at milford sound is not cheap!)and driving in comfort with an electric car which is way more sustainable
(4) the price includes a boat ride with one of the smaller independent companies who give often longer and less generic tours (with free coffee and cookies!). The price of the cheapest boat tour is usually $100 - $130 during these pandemic times which is almost the cost of nigel's whole tour!
(5) Nigel was a friendly non imposing bloke. Knowledgeable about the area and will be happy to chat the whole way, but if you are introverted like my parter and I, who can find small talk tiring, he was more than happy to let us chill or put headphones for stretches of the trip. This was really appreciated

This was one of the highlights of our 8 day Sth Island trip. Traveling in the Teslar X to Milford Sound and back was fantastic. Nigel was a wonderful guide who ensured we stopped on the way at all the prime photography places. The Milford Sounds cruise is included in the trip , on a less busy boat and this was also great. Would not hesitate to recommend !

We took the opportunity to take a tour with Nigel on an impromptu trip from Te Anau to Milford Sound. Straight away I was impressed with Nigels ability to accommodate us not only in a private tour but with accommodation aswel, nothing was too much trouble.Nigel was incredibly knowledgeable about Milford and Te Anau and was a perfect host. Due to my busy schedule Nigel was able to sort every aspect of our trip and was a pleasure to be around would highly recommend anyone to take the private tour at Envy Experience we are so glad we did.

This tour was amazing and so worthwhile
Our driver, Jamie was experience and outstanding! He knew the roads so well and could tell us all about this magical place and the journey to and from it. Took the time to show us beautiful views and waterfalls and all the amazing scenery that is there
His driving was safe and excellent and his personality so pleasant and easy to be around. Highly recommend

What a great experience - from the luxurious and special treatment with the Tesla car, to the regular stops along the way to view the scenery, to Nigel's local knowledge which even extended to directing us to the best seats on the cruise. We were made to feel very special. Definitely worth every penny and more. Thank you Nigel for a great day.

The day trip to Milford Sound with Nigel was the best part of an already outstanding trip to the south island.
Nigel's knowledge and enthusiasm shone through and enriched the day even further by adding another dimension.
Furthermore, it was very nice being chauffeured in a very comfortable vehicle which enabled us to enjoy the amazing views throughout the journey.
You definitely wont regret taking this trip.
Highly recommended.

Nigel and Lola were fantastic. Nigel was very knowledgeable about Milford Sound and the surrounding area and very easy going. Lola, the very lovely Tesla Model X was extremely comfortable.
An electric vehicle tour to a place like Milford Sound is a perfect win win. The boat cruise with Milford Sound Cruises, the only family run cruise company on the Sound, was also fantastic.

Amazing day out with Nigel. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the local history and was very friendly. It was a comfortable drive and he looked after us all the way, showing us to the best seats on the boat. Lots of scenic stops along the way and unlike the usual pre planned tour, he caters it to your preferences and has a flexible itinerary. Would recommend to anyone thinking of heading to Milford Sound.

We had a great day out with Nigel in his beautiful Tesla ‘Lola’. He picked us up from our accommodation and told us lots of interesting facts, stopped to show us great views, introduced us to a Kea, made us morning tea and took us to Milford Cruise then collected us afterward and took us home. It was a spectacular day - sunny and still but snow on the mountains 😊

We enjoyed a wonderful trip from Te Anau to Milford Sound and back. Nigel picked us up in the morning with the comfortable Tesla und showed us to many interesting places including for example the mirror lakes. He told us a lot of interesting historical und actual information, answered a lot of questions and was very patient when we took just one more photo.
We had a nice morning tea, met several Kea, went on a approximately 2 hours Milford Sound Cruise and stopped for several more landmarks on the tour back. We had a very lovely Sunday, exceeding our expectations and we can warmly recommend Envy Experiences.
