A leisurely trip, not really for thrill seekers. We loved it, especially stopping along the way to learn more about the area & the filming spots from lord of the rings which was an added bonus. Definitely recommend ebiking back. Excellent staff.

We recently did the Jet Boat and bike ride option with Fiordland Jet. Lex and John met us in Te Anau and suggested we bike out to the start of the jet boat ride, to give the weather a chance to clear. It was freezing cold day, so this was a great suggestion to warm us up. We were then given warm jackets and life jackets to wear on the boat. We were super lucky to be the only couple doing the tour and got to sit in the front row!! Our boat driver John was amazing - incredibly knowledge and a very talented driver. Included in the tour was a bike ride, a jet boat ride, a small walk around the Kepler Track and he catered - a drink of the freshest water Lake Manapouri has to offer. And then we got a nice warm car ride back to Te Anau. Definitely a highlight of our holiday!!

Bloody awesome experience have been all around South Island of new Zelland and hands down the best experience of the trip John was our guide and did a great job hopefully will go have a beer with him at the pub later. Lucy did a great job and was very friendly couldn’t recommend it more we cycled back would definitely recommend an e bike as there are a few moderate hills but was a great ride. All and all was bloody great

John the driver was amazing! Did some awesome spins and stopped of at a walk! and shouted us a few drinks at the moose after, 100% recommend!

You cannot visit New Zealand without visiting Te Anau and you can’t visit Te Anau without taking a tour with Fiordland Jet. It is quite simply beautiful. As close to perfect as you could ever wish. We took the Jet Boat and E-bike option. It was magnificent. The scenery is spectacular, but that is not why you do this trip. It’s the people. The people working at Fiordland Jet love their work. It is so obvious. We had John Lapsley as our driver. He is a caring and thoughtful man who has a great respect for the environment he gets to enjoy everyday. He loved sharing it with visitors. The thrills of the Jet Boat were fantastic, but sitting serenely in Lake Manapouri with the motor off, just taking in the breathtaking beauty all around us was just as invigorating. We had a walk on the Kepler Trail when John was able to tell us seemingly every knowable fact about the region and its history. On our trip we had a severely disabled young man who loved every minute of the adventure. John’s patience and loving kindness towards this young man were admirable. It was heartwarming. We took the option of riding e-bikes back to Te Anau. The bikes were great. Very comfortable and well maintained. And they were powerful to get us up the few hills. The ride along the banks of the Waiau River is wonderful. Fiordland Jet is a small family business staffed by people who know their stuff and love their region. It seems to me that their greatest love in life is sharing New Zealand with anyone lucky enough to spend a few hours with them. Do this tour!!!

The trip was absolutely amazing and so informative. The scenery was out of this world. The jet boating itself was exciting. Loved every minute!

We were originally planning just to do a bike tour around Te Anau. We stopped by the bike rental close to the lake, and after talking to Chris and Abby we decided to try the tour they were suggesting. We biked for 3 hours with e-bikes and then we did a jet boat tour. Our driver John was a great guide, very skilled and made sure everyone had fun on the boat. Loved that they provided warm gear during the boat experience. We definitely recommend to try this experience.

We did the Jet boat trip experience, took about two hours. Was such a brilliant experience with our little trip to the lake on the bus, and then onto the jet boat. Such a stunning view, with lots of knowledge and facts about the lord of the rings, which I never knew was filmed there!!! Worth doing, and decently priced!

Fantastic day! Highly recommend. Lex was awesome. They keep you warm on the boat and the biking is amazing. A great value.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They outfitted us with nice warm jackets, beanies and even gave us sunglasses if we didn’t have any! Our driver was Lex and was exceptional. He made the trip fun, informative and did plenty spinners for the kids! The trip down the river was beautiful! From Te Anau to Manapouri it was clear waters and beautiful forest. Bonus was seeing some Lord of the Rings locations! Then we decided to take the bike trip back on the Lake2Lake trail, which was an awesome option. We got some exercise and some extra beautiful views of the river.

Had a blast going out in the boat, not only was it fun, but so much information and history was shared. My mind is still blown that you can drink straight from the lake. Beautiful country.

Love the quiet Te Anau over Queenstown, but loved the action on the river! Stunning views, great spins on the water and Lex a great and knowledgeable guide. Thank tyou and they come highly recommended!
