Beautiful area and trip, with a lovely informative driver. We took the coach and cruise option from Queenstown. It is a very long day though and time is crucial to make the cruise, so some of the stops feel a but rushed

The trip was fantastic, and we had a great, enjoyable, and safe experience thanks to our driver, Shailendra. His sense of humor made the journey even more fun, and his commentary was both informative and engaging. He was also considerate of the senior citizens on the bus and displayed impressive knowledge throughout. Thank you for your awesome service😊

This trip was beyond expectations. We had the most wonderful driver Jeff Hill who made the bus trip interesting travelling from Queenstown to Milford sound. He was so bubbly and interactive telling us stories, interesting facts and also stopping at Mirror lakes, Te Anau, Eglinton Valley, we also saw Keas in the wild. The Milford cruise on pure Milford was amazing. This was great value for money, so well organised, the bus was roomy and glass roof is great for this experience. Overall such a fantastic experience

We really enjoyed the bus trip there with our driver Shailendra who was very informative, insightful and fun. The cruise had some beautiful scenery despite the weather not being as good. The bus ride home was very long and quite a long day on the whole was the only downside for us but enjoyable experience on the whole.

Our tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound was absolutely fantastic, largely due to our guide Shaleindra (not too sure about the spelling of his name). His entertaining personality and wealth of knowledge made the journey unforgettable. Shaleindra kept us engaged with witty jokes and expertly answered our questions, enhancing our appreciation of the stunning scenery along the way. Not forgetting the scenic drive itself which was also feast for the eyes, with breathtaking landscapes unfolding at every turn.

The views were amazing! Highly recommend GreatSights tour to Milford Sound from Queenstown. Our coach driver Shailendra was very fun, informative and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the drive and learnt something new about the geography, history, flora and fauna of the places we crossed. The cruise was breathtaking - words cannot describe it. We thought the rain might disrupt our trip but it actually made the waterfalls come alive. Would recommend packing enough snacks/ lunch if not buying lunch from GreatSights. Also packing a raincoat would be good - not necessary.

The journey to Milford Sound was truly awe-inspiring and almost surreal. The views are undeniably heavenly, offering once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Our tour guide, Stu, led us on this adventure via bus. However, the bus itself was quite cold for both my partner and me. Nonetheless, the ship ride was excellent, accompanied by informative commentary. It would have been beneficial if the instructions were clearer. Unfortunately, the lunch provided, served in boxes, was not particularly impressive.

The cruise part of this tour was great, but the bus part was not. Apparently the bus we were meant to be on got concrete on it at the Homer Tunnel so we had a replacement bus. I'm not sure if the original bus would have been roomier, but this bus was very cramped. The bus also broke down 3 times which meant we were under time pressure to get to the boat and couldn't make all the stops. The bus driver was very informative, but did make a few jokes that bordered on being racist.

I’m not sure which was more entertaining our bus driver Shailendra or the Milford Sound itself. Both were 10/10. The whole day was brilliant

Unfortunately due to confusion in Hotel names (we had no idea there were two Copthorne Hotels) one being Copthorne Hotel and RESORT and the other being Copthorne Hotel and APARTMENTS, we missed our tour, literally by less than 1-2mins. We saw the bus go passed us and quickly realised something might be wrong, opened Google maps to see another Copthorne Hotel close by! We ran up the road only to see the bus leave. They made absolutely no attempt to contact us for not presenting for collection. On reaching the other Copthorne Hotel, we enquired at reception if anyone had asked for us by name and the answer was no. We called the company to explain what had happened with absolutely no resolution offered or understanding. I’m sure this confusion has arisen in the past. Greatsights has no office in Queenstown and no idea what’s happening here, or care for that matter. Service? There was none. If at all possible, support the local Queenstown tour operators, the ones whose face you can actually see.

The views were incredible and all from the comfort of a coach. Lunch provided was delicious, an amazing day, gorgeous waterfalls.

Great experience for my sister who traveled from UK. Even thought weather was bad, heavy rainfall, very hard to see much from the boat she enjoyed the trip. One thing we didn't appreciate was not being able to use the toilet on the coach! Why would a toilet be not working on a 5 hour trip??

It was a no show without notifying, there was a email@ 4 am to remind me of the event for the day , arrived before time 7:40, waited till after 8am, no show no notice.

Great tour starting from Queenstown. The long bustour is well worth it! I have been to many countries on this planet and Milford sound is one of the most glorious sights to be seen. Lunch was not worth the money, bring Your own!

Great tour to Milford Sound today with Sanjesh (sorry, I may have his name wrong), although I remember FBI! Good sense of humor and made us feel welcome, thoroughly enjoyable. We were a bit hesitant to go because the forecast was for rain, but this made the sound very atmospheric and the waterfalls were gushing. Fantastic.
