        A UNESCO Treasure!
This was one of our favorite New Zealand excursions. The trip to Milford Sound was filled with a variety of sights and experiences. The cruise on the Sound was spectacular. Loved the relaxing pace that still kept things moving in a delightful way. Our guide was more than helpful in taking pictures and offering his advice.

        Take This Tour!
With Cam as our tour guide, we were in great hands. His commentary, driving, care and timing all were perfect. Even though this is a long tour, we had so much fun that we did not notice the time. A big plus was that Cam leant all of us crampons. With snow and ice on the ground, this saved the day so we could hike to see all the incredible sights.

        GREAT TIME!
he trip was amazing throughout, drive was long but the driver (I think his name was Will) had some awesome facts to tell us was very informative and the way he approached it also showed his genuine interest and enthusiasm about the geographical and historical context, although a cloudy day he made sure to get us a nice view and even changed up the stops for the better so we could get better photos and see more. The food was really good glad it was fresh and from a local bakery, the amount of stops was great toilet and food breaks spaced out well. We travelled through to Queenstown this means we had to get on another bus with the driver as cam, he was just as great energy and enthusiasm was high, he made the trip more enjoyable due to his passion for the outdoors and travel, we got back in a timely fashion and driving was safe and fantastic. The only thing I can critique about the trip was due to the lack of time we didn't get to see much on the way to Queenstown, however most people on the bus had already seen it. Also the drivers did seem to give different information about a few things, Overall a fantastic experience!

        Stunning Milford Sounds
Was picked up nice and early (still dark). I was aware it was going to be a long drive (4 hours). 1 hour into the trip stopped for a toilet stop & continued for another hour to the half way mark for breakfast. After breakfast continued for another 2 hours & during these 2 hours we stopped at some sites for viewing. It rained on this trip. Luckily it did as some sites were more so beautiful. Got to Milford sound where we were given our lunch. It was great. It contained a tasty chicken sandwich, apple, juice, chips, chocolate & candy. Boarded our boat which was on the smaller side compared to the others but it did not fault. On board we got free coffee tea & biscuits. The sites were magnificent and due to the rain we had more waterfalls to see. With the mist it was so mystical. The captain was a comic and had us laughing at some of his comments. Brought us up close at some points during the cruise. So happy to make the long trip as was worth it. Our tour guide "Ted" was so knowledgeable and a top, friendly bloke. Had the best chat with him during out trip. The music in the bus was tops.

Great day with Cheeky Kiwi Travel
Our tour-guide Cameron was amazing! He knows a lot about Queenstown and helped us to understand a bit better about New Zealand! Best part of the trip is that, Cameron offered to provide us with the spikes (to install on our shoes), which really helped for people who are going to complete the entire Hooker Valley Track. Really good weather today which makes a better trip, thanks to Cam and Cheeky Kiwi Travel!

Great tour - well worth it!
Had a great tour of Milford Sound - well organised, friendly and experienced guide, and smooth, unrushed journey that allowed us to appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the area. Would definitely recommend taking the option to fly back to Queenstown - the views were spectacular and the short duration of the flight was appreciated.

        Breathtaking, Seamless, Memorable
We had an incredible time exploring Mt. Cook. Georgia, our trip guide, was consistently helpful and full of valuable insights. Traveling by van was smooth sailing, with Georgia's driving skills leaving us with no concerns. The scenery along the drive was absolutely stunning, and the helicopter ride to the mountain's peak took our breath away. This trip is undoubtedly worth every moment.

        Incredible day of scenery
Excellent day from start to finish curated by the amazing Avi. Avi, our guide for the day, greeted us with enthusiasm and clearly explained the layout of our day. The trip to Milford Sound was smooth with so many great photo op stops along the way. Milford Sound itself was breathtaking!! Even the sandwich lunch was better than most I have experienced. Don’t miss this one, and request Avi!!

We went and did this tour on a very bad weather day, Unfortunately due to this, our flights were cancelled and we were unable to see the glacier :( .Regardless, the team from Cheeky Kiwi Tours did an exceptional job of making the trip as good as possible even with the disappointing weather. Our Driver and tour guide Sinchan was amazing. He made the trip something to remember and we will 100% come back to have another go next time. Mt cook and the drive was still lovely, but the people made it a great experience.

      WOW!
      Do this tour!
Our guide was Shane, lived in 70+ countries in the world and past travel agent so he knew how to keep us entertained and informed. Lots of great advice on where to go around NZ and locally in Queentown. We followed his tips on gelato, burgers and other activities - all were 100% correct.
Our trip was full of funny stories and great info about what we were seeing and the Maori history too. He was also good at creating a group connection which made us all feel comfortable to talk with each other throughout the day...something most tours don't do well (and I'm a team builder for a job!) and you don't then have as much fun or learning about other people's cultures/lives etc.
Helicopter tour and walk on Glacier was as expected - extraordinary life moment.
      Highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi Tours!

Sinchan was our lead guide and absolutely was enjoyable, had great energy and kept our van fully engaged! Aoraki Mt Cook was stunning, even more so the glass reflection of Lake Pukaki and cannot forget the heli hike. I’ve never hiked on a glacier and it was an incredible experience with an amazing guide Rich. One of my favorite tours I’ve ever done!

Our tour guide for the day was Colin. He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure we got to do our heli hike part of the tour. Due to the weather changing there was some doubt as to whether or not the hike would go ahead. It did luckily and the views afforded and overall experience were nothing short of spectacular. Add it to your list of things to do, you won’t be disappointed!

The guide was awesome and shared tons of interesting factoids about the various locations. The route also meant that there was many opportunities to snap great pics too. Finally, although the weather meant that certain activities were out of bounds, the guide made great effort to provide us with safe alternatives. The guide was also personable and put in genuine effort to ensure that the entire journey was comfortable and memorable.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Our driver was lovely and friendly. The bus was immaculate and stops were well timed. Our helicopter-hike was truly awesome. They provided all the gear (coats, pants, boots, crampons) and flew us up via a scenic route. Once on the glacier our guide took us to two awesome ice caves. The whole tour was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The only thing was we didn’t get time to eat lunch as we were on the mountain a little longer (no complaints!). As there is no eating on the bus we ate it when we arrived at the salmon farm on the way home.

An absolutely incredible experience. Every moment was so serene and breathtaking, from soaking in the sights in a helicopter (I mean, c’mon!!!) to walking through an ice cave and drinking the purest water I could imagine tasting.
Our guide, Jakey, provided such an enjoyable experience while teaching us quite a bit about the glaciers we were standing on and mountains all around us.

Stunning view on the day and good exploring on glacier. I'd recommend everyone coming to South Island doing this trip, worth it! Mt Cook is definitley my favourite spot in NZ now! Thank you so mich!
