Exceptional photographic experience and great day of leaning and visiting unique NZ sites.
This was an amazing trip! We covered more than we thought would be possible. Aiste was an amazing photography teacher. I learned so much from her and she was so patient. She planned the day so well with a sunrise photo and then on to other beautiful places that we could not have visited on our own. A perfect day. Thank you for this memorable experience. And for the photos you had taken and then dropped off at our hotel along with other NZ memorabilia.

Incredible tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide - would thoroughly recommend
We had an amazing tour with Aiste! She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took us along a pass that we didn’t even know existed and would definitely not have driven up ourselves! The views were just incredible and we got some amazing photographs. Aiste went out her way to make sure that we got the time that we needed and helped guide the shots to get the best outcomes. We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend to others who want to experience a different part of Queenstown.

        Queenstown like never before
This was an incredible way to experience Queenstown and its surroundings. I'm so glad I was able to book this photography tour with Aiste, she was extremely accommodating, organised, friendly, and knowledgeable. Aiste customised the trip to fit my needs and was also very helpful with her suggestions for the next stops on my tour. I definitely recommend this experience and would love to be back again.

Even though we are not photographers, we chose the tour because we liked the flexibilty and thought we might see some places not on the regular tours. Both proved to be real rewards. Aiste was terrific as a host and went out of her way to take us to wonderful locations, including some out of the way ones. She also took photos of us for our trip album. We highly recommend Aiste and the tour. It was worth every penny.

        Highly recommend this photo tour!
Aiste’s half day photography tour was amazing! We went to Moke Lake and Glenorchy with breathtaking vistas and lots of sheep along the way. She knew all the good photo spots and was very patient and made sure I captured all the angles I wanted. She also took some photos of me and shared a lot of great photography tips. The photos came out great as well - definitely would recommend!

A fantastic day with an extraordinary tour leader! I can't recommend her more highly!
Just finished an absolutely captivating day with the wonderful Aiste. I was traveling with my elderly mother, who uses a walker, and Aiste could not have been more helpful or attentive to her. She led us from one extraordinarily beautiful scene to another -- places we could not have discovered on our own. Her eye for photography is incredible, and time and again she brought us to beautiful vistas. And her enthusiasm for the beauty of the area is genuine and truly infectious. She truly tailored the tour to our needs and desires. Book her -- you won't regret it!

Fun filled and an Amazing tour of Glenorchy and skippers
We went to Glenorchy and Skippers in New Zealand on 6th Feb 2024. This we did from our hotel in Queenstown. It was around 7 hours of photography tour and we loved every bit of it. Skippers and Glenorchy are in opposite directions from Queenstown and the landscape in both these places is also different from one another. Skippers has rugged , canyon like landscape and Glenorchy is lakes, meadows, hills (typical of South island) . Road to Glenorchy has several super beautiful places where you will be compelled to take snaps. The scenery is so amazing that we can't believe we went to those places when we look at the photos today. We went halfway towards Paradise from Glenorchy and out there was a place where we found just us and sheep and beautiful landscape and fresh air.  Our Tour Guide Aistl is very joyful, talkative, knowledgeable and helpful. She treated Me and My wife like old friends. We had one of the most enjoyable times with her on the 20 day New Zealand and Australia Trip. She called us a day in advance and confirmed the participation. Then she asked us where we wish to travel from Queenstown. She recommended Skippers for its different landscape. In Skippers she took us to those scenic hill tops and herself walked to a nearby hill top (actually top of a canyon) walking in her flip flops and took several wonderful photos using our camera. My wife wanted to drive the car in NZ (she has an INTL license) and Aistl gladly obliged. Aistl would not let a moment of boredom come with her interesting stories about life in NZ, her home country and our own culture. It was fun filled 7-8 hrs with her with several photographs. We would certainly recommend this tour for the guide and the different scenary

        Best Queenstown Photo Tour
Queenstown is beautiful. But you can take it one notch up with a photo tour with Aiste. She is professional (the photos here will speak for itself), friendly and goes extra miles to make sure we have the best experience. When the standard tour will just take you to two locations, she took us to so many. One very important thing. She drives safely and her SUV is lovely. This is one of my best experiences with a booked tour and in New Zealand.

Amazing day spent taking photos with good company
It was a pleasure to be able to meet Aiste and spend a full day taking pictures around Otago with her. I knew I would only have a limited amount of time in the area and she was flexible in working with me in setting a start time and figuring out where I wanted to go and my photo priorities. She was even willing to start super early in the morning to do astrophotography but I had already captured some Milky Way shots earlier in the trip. She picked me up from my hotel and we headed to Moke Lake before sunrise which had beautiful mist over the water and glassy reflections (see the attached picture which she took using my iPhone while I was messing with the ND filters on my camera). We then headed up to Glenorchy after breakfast, before ending the day in Skippers Canyon, where rental cars are banned given the steep dropoffs and narrow roadway (I am glad I wasn’t driving). It was well worth being with someone who really knew the area and timing of the best photos; often we were leaving places just as others were showing up. As a solo traveler interested in seeing as much as possible in a limited time frame it was well worth it. I was able to spend as much or as little time taking pictures as I wanted to without feeling like I was rushing anyone else, and she had good suggestions regarding composition and technical aspects of landscape photography. Aiste is very personable and we had plenty to talk about during the drives between photo opportunities (and she would stop if we saw anything interesting too).

        Photo shooting tour
First time to Queenstown n south island without a car. Aiste is professional and helpful, giving advice on route planning, punctual, time saving with very efficient working pace, sharing her professional photography skills to us, help us with shooting at the best spot, even we only got iphone with us. Within a day we covered most beautiful parts of Queenstown and nearby places, avoid the crowd and enjoy the scenic views. At the end of the day, we were given a small kiwi gift, that was so thoughtful and sweet of her! Not to mention her good driving skills and nice car which is safe, new and clean.we will definitely refer her to anyone who wanna enjoy yr holiday with nice photos back home ! Perfect n superb!

Astrophotography - great locations and great advice! Highly recommend Aiste!
Aiste took me to several key locations for astrophotography. We connected via email and WhatsApp to plan the locations. Once I was in Queenstown it was very easy to connect. She planned our start time around the MW galactic center visibility. We went to Moke Lake, the Remarkables Ski Area and a pond near Lake Hayes to shoot the Milky Way, Magellanic Clouds and the beautiful night sky. Aiste was awesome to work with! She picked me up at my hotel in Queenstown and we spent about 4 hours together. Her goal was for me to capture the images and she did not take any photos herself. She provided suggestions on settings, if I asked and offered great composition ideas. She was open to moving around Moke Lake so I could get a better view of the MW which meant hiking up a bit further. I would not have been able to access these areas without Aiste. I highly recommend working with her!

        A great experience
During our recent trip to Queenstown, my wife and I booked a photo tour with Aiste Photography Tours. Aiste was a wonderful host and guide, she took us to some amazing photographic locations, highlighting the beauty of the region. Aiste’s expertise added that special something to our tour as she was able to guide us on set up, camera settings and composition. We got some great shots. Additionally, Aiste shared her knowledge of the local area and pointed out a number of other locations we were able to get to on our own. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aiste Photography Tours should you be looking for someone to guide you in the Queenstown area. It was a great experience.

        Passionate, unique and personal experience
It was our first time to join a photography tour. Aiste photography has provided us a lovely memory of Queenstown which is unique and personal. Aiste responded to our enquiry promptly. She picked us up at 6 am and we drove out of town in her comfortable Range Rover. The sunrise scenery and the locations she took us were amazing. There is no doubt she is an artist photographer because we have learnt the photographic tips how to make nice compositions, aperture and to catch the good moments. Nevertheless, she was very helpful and took some beautiful photos for us too. We felt we were having another wedding photos taken after forty years. The snack provided were all New Zealand products. We love com back in winter time to join her tour again!

Everything a photographer should be :)
If you need a photographer on the south island around Queenstown and Wanaka, you can honestly stop looking - just go with Aiste! Whether for a photo shoot or as a tour guide, I can't recommend her highly enough. Not only is she highly professional, well prepared and organised, easy to deal with, and provides great value for money, she's also a wonderful person to be around. I've dealt with project managers on multi-million dollar projects that were less organised and less prepared for their jobs! We first met Aiste when we undertook her guided astro photography tour in June 2021. We did a few photo tours with different guides, but she was so professional, easy to deal with, and committed to making sure we had a great experience (including staying late to teach us some great tips and tricks for post processing our shots with Lightroom) that when we later got married at Edgewater in Wanaka and needed a wedding photographer in the Queenstown / Wanaka / Arrowtown area (Otago region) she was our first choice, and a great choice it was! She happily provided transport for us for our wedding shoot (and the earlier astro photography tour) in her luxury Range Rover. She took us to some of the most gorgeous hidden spots, places we never would have been or found on our own. She has a very keen eye - her framing and composition are spot on, and her standards for herself and her work are very high, and she's a great photographer. It's clear that she really loves what she does, and is a great teacher too! I genuinely feel like we owe her more than she charged us both times we have hired her! Thanks for being awesome Aiste! Keep it up :)

Could not rate Aiste more highly. I booked with Aiste an overnight photography trip to Mt Cook, including a stop at Lake Tekapo.
Aiste herself was lovely, a real pleasure to be around, and she took us to some great off-the-beaten-track places! I really loved the entire trip and found her knowledge of the area and photography to be really refreshing. She also took some photos of me whilst I was taking photos and printed them off for me! Such a pleasant surprise.
I really enjoyed the tour and thought it was good value for money. Will definitely do something similar again with Aiste when I return to New Zealand!

The Queenstown photo tour was an unforgettable experience. From the serene sunrise light over the lake to exhilarating drive through Skippers Canyon, every moment was picture perfect. I captured so many incredible shots and made lasting memories. Queenstown is truly a photographer's paradise, especially for those who love landscape photography. Thank you!

One of my best experiences with booked tours and in New Zealand. Queenstown is beautiful but a private photon tour with Aiste would make it more memorable. She is professional, went extra miles to ensure we have a great experience, took beautiful photos for me and my husband. While other tours only cover two locations, she took us to a lot more. Plus she drives carefully in a comfy SUV. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about Aiste. She created a wonderful photo experience that was exactly what I had hoped for.

I was traveling to Queenstown with a guided tour but I had a free day to explore on my own. None of the excursions they offered were interesting to me so I was lucky enough to find Aiste’s photo excursion.

She was super flexible with the schedule and start time and very communicative throughout. She took me all over Queenstown including Skipper’s Canyon and even offered to take my picture using my phone and camera which was so nice since I rarely get photos of myself when I’m traveling solo. She even bought me a delicious lunch part way through the excursion.

The day was exactly what I wanted. Aiste created a magical experience that I will not soon forget.
