      Gibbston Valley Wineries by e-Bike
This was a wonderful bike ride for our family (two parents, two 20-something kids)--a great way to ride the Arrowtown and Gibbston Trail along the Arrow and Kawarau Rivers. Christina and her colleagues were wonderful at picking us up, getting us kitted out on e-bikes, and picking us up at the end of the day. The ride was breathtaking! The ebikes were essential for covering the ~20 kilometres from Arrowtown to our last stop at Kinross. The gravel trail was more than I had anticipated (probably because of my fear of heights), and the many (many) vistas offset my acrophobia. New Zealand vintners are serious about their craft! We sampled at Gibbston Valley, Gibbston Tavern, and Rockburn. Staff/owners at each locale were incredibly knowledgeable about their grapes, their wine, and the wonderful ways to describe the many reds, whites, roses, we tried. I regret not bringing a bigger backpack to bring home more bottles. The shuttle from Kinross to Arrowtown back to Queenstown made for an easy finish to the lovely day.

      Beautiful hilly ride
Beautiful ride! The views were lovely. The bike path was easy to follow. The shuttle driver gave us lots of interesting info and tips on the drive to Arrowtown. However, the ride was more strenuous than expected. We rented the regular mountain bikes and wished we had rented the E bikes. There were several uphills that we had to walk the bikes up. With an E bike though, the path would be easy.

Great scenery great bike very poor directions
This is an extremely scenic rides & the e-bikes are great BUT the rides have a number of very challenging steep down hills & a couple of steep up hills At time we were frustrated by the lack of directions especially going through golf resort section & other intersections on the trail Final frustration was where to park the bikes But I would recommend doing the ride just make sure you have them spend a few detailed moments on getting through golf area & where to leave bikes

      Fun bike tour!
This was the second time I have done this tour. It was so great the first time, I wanted some friends to experience it also. Arrowtown is so adorable and worth visiting, and the bike ride along the river is gorgeous. Lots of pretty wineries to visit and beautiful scenery along the way!

      Very accommodating
Hired two ebikes for two days. Bikes, which were Trek hard tails, were dropped off and picked up from our accomodation and were perfect for what we wanted to do. They also seemed to be much cheaper than other providers that we looked at. Staff provided great advice on tracks that would suit us which we followed and thoroughly enjoyed.

Christina was amazing! Pickup was easy, retrieval at the end of the tour was made very easy. Very friendly service and amazing views throughout. The E-Bikes ensured it was a comfortable trip (albeit my butt is a bit sore). Minimal effort required to get around and see the sights. A lot of fun! Highly recommend

      Awesome
This cycling was fantastic and we have never enjoyed cycling like this. I do recommend this and remember to try the wine at the end of your tour. We chose the pedal bike and it is completely okay if you don't have any injury.

      ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Christina was an outstanding tour guide—professional, friendly, and easy to connect with. She made our trip incredibly enjoyable and kept the positive energy flowing, after our day of touring the beautiful wineries, by even allowing us to pick our own music! We had a blast playing some trending songs you often hear on the radio that we could all sing along too. We were celebrating a 30th birthday and it topped off the day with the 4 of us. It was great to have a guide who encouraged us to have fun, share some laughs. The e-bikes were incredible, easily handling the trails, and the scenery was breathtaking. Christina provided an exceptional explanation of the multiple wineries, atmosphere of each winery which helped us pick and choose, specific and detailed directions and a thorough explanation of the map provided. Christina also ensured we felt confident and comfortable to use the e-bikes providing her number ready to be contacted at anytime if required. Neck warmers were also offered with the bikes which was great in winter! The information provided prior to the tour was extensive and very informative. The views were something we had never seen before, crystal clear blue waters and beautiful mountains. The bridges were a lot of fun, so many animals along the way and this tour easily was the highlight of our holiday. I wish we had this at home because it was so much fun and absolutely beautiful to witness. We also met some other wine e-bikers who were down to have a laugh and enjoy the experience just as much as we did! Thank you again to Christina and Going Blue, you provided exceptional professionalism and a fun uplifting service to make our holiday even better!

      110% recommend! Amazing!!
This was an absolutel highlight of our trip!!!! We had booked our bike winery tour as part of our 30th birthday holiday celebrations. Firstly, our guide Christina was INCREDIBLE. She was extremely professional, shared valuable knowledge about the regions wineries and was very easy to get along with. Christina made our trip extremely enjoyable and fun, and kept up the good vibes as we were on holidays for a 30th birthday. Christina was accommodating and even let us play some of our own music on the way home, which was great! We were given a map to follow, and solid instructions on how to use our bikes. We were also given a number to call Christina if we needed any assistance at all along our ride. The wineries were beautiful! The wine was great - but the ride was honestly the highlight of the whole day. Incredible scenery and a beautiful trail to follow. We have been recommending this tour to all our friends and family and look forward to coming back to tour with you again in the future!!

      Perfect ride
If you want to experience Queenstown and its surroundings, take a bike ride along the river, through the hills with views of the snow-capped mountains. We encountered many tough mountain bikers, but for us, e-bikes were a must. The bikes were excellent, the paths well-marked, a bit muddy, but otherwise wonderful. The organization is easily accessible, and we could leave the bikes at a place that suited us better. Highly recommended!

Must do! Go for the E-bike
The entire ride is just so scenic! The tour was well organized, the bikes were well maintained and Jake, our driver to and from Arrowtown , was friendly and told us of interesting bits on areas of interest. We got the full day tour and on hindsight we should have gotten an e-bike instead. It gets tiring and the hills are not as easy to manually bike through when you have been biking the entire day. This is one of the best activities we did in Queenstown. Highly recommended.

Booked a couple of bikes (not E bikes - the real deal) for a half day putter around by ourselves. Very good service provided both in the booking process with prompt text messaging to follow up, and also in the bike delivery and collection.
Bikes were fine and just what we were after for our wander around to Kelvin Heights.
Funny thing was we got chatting to the delivery guy and between us forgot to pay but sorted out later.
    Would use these folk again.

Bella and Rhys were super friendly and easygoing. They were flexible with our plans , so we were able to finish our hectic queenstown holiday with a lovely chill ride around the lake, stopping off in a few pretty spots, and finished up at the airport for our flight home. Great with the kids, and the bikes were excellent. Would definitely do this again. Thanks guys!!!

My wife and I hired two e-bikes to do the ride from Jacks Point to Queenstown center. Booking was easy and Jay picked us up at the agreed time and drove us to Jacks Point. He was affable and good fun to deal with during the ride and the set up.

Our BIG challenge was the ride over the hill to the lake. I never had a long enough stretch of track to get the motor to kick in which meant I ended up pushing the bike up about 2/3rds of the hill. I was knackered before I even saw Wakatipu. When we completed that section of the track we saw that the sign said it was for advanced mountain bikers only. We had already told Jay that our preparation had consisted of my wife just doing some time on a spin bike and me not being on a bike for 30 years. Hardly experienced! There was a road next to the track we could have ridden on and that would have made all the difference. As a result I crashed a couple of times but was largely unhurt. My wife wasn't so lucky and is still in pain every time she sits down or gets up now nearly two weeks later. Sadly this ruined our experience. It's a real shame because everything else was great. Good bikes and a gorgeous ride from Kelvin Heights to Queenstown.

Bottom line if you are of average fitness get them to drop you at Kelvin Heights and go from there, you'll love it.

Aww Rob, this deeply upsets me. I thought because you selected Jack's Point as a ride that was what you wanted to do. I'd of happily saved petrol and dropped you off at the end of Kelvin Heights. Im so sorry I misjudged your skill level. The customers that have already selected this route, had all made it back in one piece, even on our more difficult but beautiful Giant Talon's (non-ebikes). However, I do agree it is a bit challenging for 5 - 10 mins BUT I hope that this doesn't put people off doing this beautiful rugged wilderness ride. (Note:It's my favourite to take the parents on) The option on our maps provided, shows you can avoid the grade 5 section easily if you go through Jardine Park. We never promote doing the grade 5. As locals, we all use the Jardine Park route. The other rocky bit isn't even fun for pro's so everyone avoids it. If I had forgotten to state this im sorry.

Totally professional, so easy to deal with, helpful, friendly, and clear guidance. We were picked up at our hotel in a very comfy van and dropped off with the bikes at Kelvin Heights. The ride round the lake was fantastic. Returned to downtown Queenstown, locked the bikes at an agreed bike rack, and just as we were about to walk away, Jay arrived in the van and took the bikes away. Couldn't be easier. The bikes were great too. Very easy to use.

Really great trail ride - we were glad of the e-bikes in part, as there are some steepish hills. Mostly fairly flat though. Found a decent pint at Arthur's Point. Worth the ride just to see the Millbrook Resort - blingy or what!

The guys gave great advice and info and were available by phone for any issues (which there weren’t’)
We were picked up and could drop the bikes off at any one of a large number of drop off points.
Extreme value for money for a great day out.
    Highly recommended to anyone!
