It was a very well conducted tour. The driver cum guide knew the place very well and gave us adequate time to explore the area.

Absolutely amazing day going to Milford sound with Altitude!! Shelly was an incredible guide every step of the way. She was funny, engaging, incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about everything to do with Milford sound and NZ in general. It was totally worth doing the small group tour as we had more time and stops along the way in comparison to the large buses. The smaller boat for the cruise also made for a more personal experience and we were able to get closer to the waterfalls than the larger boats. We got to see 🦭🐧 and 🐬 which was amazing!! I would not hesitate to recommend this tour, this company and this experience as curated by Altitude.

Andy was an excellent tour guide and driver. We had an amazing trip, the stops for scenery were amazing. The whole day was one magnificent vista after another. The perfect way to finish our holiday and also keep us keen to return again soon!

It was an amazing trip! Andy M our guide and driver, was so friendly and funny. We had a few stops during the way, enough to take fresh air and relax a bit. Definitely worth it, I will choose Altitude for my next’s trips!

We had the most amazing experience with Altitude Tours and Neville as our guide. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Nev was the best! His knowledge of Queenstown and surrounding areas is incredible. We said to Nev he is the best advertisement that Queenstown could offer. This was our first trip to NZ and a must do on our "itinerary was the tour/cruise of Milford Sound. After much researching, we decided to go with Altitude Tours and we definitely made the right descision. We had a fantastic day. Kevin was our tour guide and was awesome. Nothing was a problem. There was plenty of stops along the way to take some great pics of this magnificent part of the world. He was a wealth of knowledge when it come to facts about the area and NZ. The cruise was great and the staff on board were so lovely and also very knowledgable about the area. The scenery was just breathtaking and unforgetable. We had such a great time; the sun was out for the first half of the day so we were able to get beautiful pictures at the stopovers (which were plenty!) and although the weather turned to rain for the second half, it actually made the cruise in Milford Sound more fun. Massive thank you and kudos to Pam for being an awesome driver - she was super knowledgeable and we had such a blast. Thanks Altitude!

Thanks Altitude Tours for the fantastic trip. Tommy, our guide, was such a nice guy and full of knowledge and made our trip that much better. We had done the trip 30 years ago in our car but having Tommys' commentary this time round made it that much better. One of the highlights was on our return trip where we had to stop at the Homer Tunnel due to unexpected snow fall. We had to wait for the snow plow to come through and clear the road. While we were waiting, we all watched as a young man walked his girlfriend from their car to the side of the road. With fluffy snow dancing in the air, he got down on bended knee and proposed to her; of course she excepted and he slipped the ring on her finger.

We had a memorable day with a great guide to an enchanting place. At all times, our comfort and ease were paramount, but wait-there's more. Our guide took great pride in showing us great spots and took the best photos, hands down. He informed us of all the points of interest that would make our trip more enriching, thanks, Tommy!

We journeyed to the Milford Sounds, and it proved to be an unforgettable experience. What a remarkable way to spend a day! The breathtaking scenery is a masterpiece of its own, showcasing nature’s beauty. Our driver/guide @kevin, was awesome, his knowledge of the area was interesting and was delivered with the right level of humour and professionalism.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Milford Sound with Tommy. He was very knowledgeable on everything in Queenstown .. from fishing to places to eat/drink, things to do and local wildlife. We made many stops along the way to see the beautiful scenery. Tommy was always on hand to help us take picture perfect photos. He kept us entertained throughout the 4 hour drive there, and let us rest on the way back. We could not have asked for more from a guide/driver. We definitely recommend taking the Altitude tour to Milford Sound as the van seats only 16 and has a glass top roof which makes for a brighter drive. The seats are also very comfortable for the long drive. We had also left a bag in the van which was recovered and picked up before we left Queenstown from the Altitude office. All in all a fantastic experience from the Altitude group and stand out Tommy!

Overall, would highly recommend this tour to my family and friends. Kevin was our tour guide and was great to be with all day! He was patient and informative. Hopefully you’ll get him as your guide but i’m sure others will be awesome too. Definitely worth the money to be in a private setting versus the big bus other tours offer. The tour makes sure to hit all the pituresque spots on the way Milford Sound but Kevin would drive us along further if it was too crowded, truly catered it around us.

Absolutely fabulous full day in ‘Bert’ the brand new luxury VW Transport. Hosted by the lovely Shelly who had an expert knowledge of the whole region and a deeply personal relationship with the people associated too it. Breathtaking scenery from stat to finish. AAA+
