Great fun and well organised. Definitely worth doing the whole day tour, so you don’t miss out. We did half tour last time and regretted not doing the full day. You won’t be able to stop at every place due to the large number of stops available. It is worth booking ahead for lunch. The drivers are friendly and the buses run on time.

It was a perfect way to explore Marlborough region and the wineries. The driver was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend hop on hop off wine tours for the options of stops they have. We hopped off several stops and had an amazing mix of experiences from Aviation museum, beautiful art gallery to delightful meal and wine tasting in 3 different wineries. Would definitely explore Nelson and Queenstown with them next time.

Amazing experience, we were a group of two couples and had so much fun! The stops were great especially the Akarua wine tasting. Highly recommend!

To see as many venues as you can you need to plan ahead and limit your time to 40 minutes at each location. Having said that we enjoyed the view and experience at one location so much we stayed double the time. We had a lovely time and compared experiences with others. Apparently Broken Heart Gin Garden was popular but we missed that experience. Always another time!

Such a great experience. Easy access to the busses and very friendly staff. A great day overall. Would definitely do it again!

The service was so good I’ll be bringing my next visiting friends on the tour. Easy to read timetable, nice bus, awesome driver, good winery options. It was a really fun day out!

Book ahead and have a relaxing day in the vineyards. We even managed a visit to a Gin Garden and a great Tavern as well as several great cellar doors such as Amisfield and Akarua

Super easy to get around, a lovely way to see the wine region. A bus comes around regularly so you can move to different venues or stay and relax at a few. Lots of fun

The drivers went out of there way to make sure we had a great day, one even looped back and missed his lunch break to drop us at another spot! The older gentlemen driver who’s name I can’t remember also said it was no bother for us to be dropped at Arrowtown at the end. We squeezed in 6 places in the half day in the end. The dispatch lady could have been a bit more friendly but we imagine it’s a stressful job!

The team were great, helped us reschedule when we couldn’t make our original booking! On the day the driver was great, full of info on the tour, think he had just been covering, but did a great job! We did this last year, was so fun that why we booked again, although it was quieter and we didn’t pre book at locations but Now I would recommend to make reservations as it’s gotten busier!

The tour was good, nice places to visit. Unsure if it’s just me who found it super confusing with how it worked alongside the timetable and I assumed there would be something small included for the price but it was just the bus fare. It says there’s discounts for some places but I felt as though for what we did there was no benefits. If you pick certain locations it affects you seeing others with the way the timetable work. So if you have a rental car it would be easier to go to the places yourself with no time restraints. Despite this we still had a good time. And the places and food was great.

This is a great way to visit the wineries surrounding Queenstown without needing a car. The drivers were helpful and on time for each pick up!

They are very friendly and welcoming and there you can taste the best quality of wines. The location is great.

Fun and informative drivers who added to the whole experience! Easy to follow the hop on and hop off times too, would recommend booking the wine tastings if you have a group, and only do 4 in the half day tours.
