      Perfect
Great way to get out of Queenstown and see the amazing surrounds in a short amount of time. Saw so much countryside + bungy + Shotover jet + Arrowtown (just so quaint) + views + lovely wine and cheese tasting at The Church (ask for Katie ;) and finish with a cruise on the Lake with Neville…. Was so easy to take, and didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend Dan as a knowledgeable, relaxed, friendly tour guide :)

Queenstown Wine Sampler Tour was great fun with great wine tasting
Queenstown Wine Sample Tour was great fun. It was 6 hrs. We went to Gibbston Valley Winery, Kinross Winery, Mt. Rosa Wines and the Church Cellar Door. Very informative and sampled great wines. We had lunch which helped with all the wine we were sampling! Highly recommend.

Great trip with an excellent guide, Neville. Professional, funny, knowledgeable, entertaining, and safety first. Great to do it with a small group on a smaller boat than the big bus tours. Highly recommend. Really, a 6/5 rating. Thank you!

Milford Sound Scenic Tour & Cruise--INCREDIBLE
We had the distinct pleasure of having Chelsea as our driver and guide. Not only does she really know her stuff, she is attentive and thoughtful and (not for nothing) a fantastic driver! We learned so much along the way from Chelsea, while also genuinely enjoying her company. The drive is breathtaking and the Mercedes van is so comfortable. I highly recommend booking the glass roof upgrade for uninterrupted jaw-dropping views. The perfect number of stops are scheduled for photos and bathroom breaks. As for the Milford Sound cruise--there are no words. You won't believe your eyes. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend taking this tour (and requesting Chelsea if you can!).

Thanks to Tommy our driver-guide for Mt. Cook!
The professionalism and enthusiasm of our driver-guide Tommy is very much appreciated. The greeting at pickup spot was warm to begin with, the tempo of stops for coffee and photo session was well-planned, the introduction of all sorts of funny things along the way and good selection of music made the 5 hour one way drive just flew by. What’s more valuable is that he doesn’t narrowly define his obligations and service - he walked the extra mile(s) sharing his number and responding promptly and comprehensively when I had question during the Hooker Valley hike, shared his story coming to NZD, and even tips on Fergburger! He always volunteered to help guests take photos at scenic spots, which I believe he didn’t have to. And the pics turned out to be great. Last but not the least, had he not carefully and thoroughly checked the vehicle, my day would have turned from paradise to hell as I left my US$3000+ worth of laptop at the back pocket of a seat at the very back! He messaged me even before I realized the laptop was missing, and contacted office to leave me message. All of these done out of his office hour. I highly appreciate this as I fly out of queenstown the next day. Thank you a lot!

      Marvellous Milford Sound Tour!
Shelly our guide made the day. Felt like we were in very safe hands and loved hearing her family links to the Milford Sound road and area. The breathtaking views throughout were amazing. Definitely felt like an individual, rather than a commodity, as it appeared was the case with the larger tour groups. Would highly recommend if you are considering taking a trip to Milford Sound. Thanks again Shelly :)

Milford Sound with the Best Tour Guide EVER
I went on a tour to Milford Sound --- a small luxury van with 12 people and then a boat ride on the sound. Our tour leader was Sinchan Haria. He absolutely was responsible for taking our trip from excellent to "the best ever." Sinchan was the best tour guide I have ever been with. His knowledge of all things New Zealand, coupled with his generous and outgoing personality contributed to an incredible adventure. I highly recommend Altitude Tours and ask for Sinchan specifically!

      Great tour, perfect guide!
Everything was PERFECT. We were lucky to have a great weather. Our guide, Tommy, was perfect too. Really nice, polite, professional, friendly, considerate and interesting. Smooth drive, with interesting description of the environment we saw. Nice music playlist, not too loud. He took care of us during the picture breaks, and was patient.

A must do Aoraki day trip!
Amazing MUST DO day trip to Aoraki Mount Cook. Our driver and guide, Sinchan, made a memorable day even better with his good humour, great communication skills and incredible knowledge of the area and New Zealand (and the world!) By the end of the trip I knew the lo al culture, regional history and my travel companions better than I would have ever expected. Will definitely recommend this tour to others!.

      Milford Sound Experience
Sinchan is absolutely the best tour guide ever. He picked us up on time, bright and early, for the Milford Sound experience. From the moment he greeted us in the van to the time he dropped us off that evening, it was apparent that he absolutely LOVES his job. He has a true passion for teaching and engaging the group during the long drive. He made special stops in the rain forest so that we could see places the big bus groups are unable to reach. He wanted to know more about each individual on the trip so that he could address our expectations for the day. He is extremely knowledgeable about history, geography, and flora. I learned so much, which makes it difficult to identify "one" thing that I like best, it was all superb!

The entire trip was insta worthy with most of the iconic spots covered in and around Glenorchy and Paradise. Our tour guide Andy is amazing and welcoming. He made us feel really comfortable and knew a lot about the history and the local folklore. The morning tea, especially the ginger crunch, bread rolls with that location in background is priceless. Thankyou Altitude tours

I took the Glenorchy and Paradise Explorer tour with Altitude Tours, along with my wife, and I highly recommend it. It rained heavily the day we were supposed to go, and they offered to move the date, free of cost and with no hassle.

We took the tour 2 days after with Andy, which is a very knowledgeable guide and gave us a lot of facts about the region, as well as handy suggestions about places to visit and things to do. He also showed us many locations from the lord of the rings throughout the tour, while driven in a fairly new, comfortable Mercedes van.

We got plenty of photo stops and a nice picnic next to the river. In fact, we liked the tour so much that we booked the next day's wine tasting tour with the same company. Thank you Andy!

Did this trip at the start of the week with my husband . We were the only two on the tour which was pretty cool and didnt hinder us in anyway we had a great time . Our guide Jamie was super , very bubbly , full of knowledge and more than happy to act as semi pro photographer so we have awesome photo memories . The tour is a mix of LOTR information and filming spots but also can be enjoyed by anyone looking to see past queenstown to glenorchy , paradise. We got heaps of info on the filming of lotr and the spots but also on the surrounding area and history which was really cool . Cant recommend this tour any higher it was really great way to see the area and with loads of little touches of morning tea, little chocys .

We originally booked a tour of Milford Sound but it was cancelled due to bad weather. We chose this option instead, and it was a very good decision! We went to Bennett's Bluff which has an amazing view at the top, Glenorchy which is a quaint little town, and Paradise which has a lot of Lord of The Rings scenes spots. Our tour guide even set up a small picnic table by a stream so we can have some of the coffee, tea, bread and fruits that she prepared. Everything was beautiful.

If you are looking for a quick tour outside the Queenstown city center, choose this. I also recommend booking via Altitude Tours and look for our tour guide/driver Ana -- she's the best!

This tour was the best of the 3 organised tours I have been on since coming to Queenstown. The scenery was stunning, we were lucky with the weather which was beautiful, but I particularly liked that we were a small group and no where we went was crowded. The tea was delicious and a perfect setting to have it in a quiet spot by the river. Alana was great, her love of NZ shone through in her enthusiasm to impart information. She is very knowledgeable and the little gift at the end was such a nice touch. Thank you Alana.

Not having booked the tour myself, I wasn't sure what to expect as I joined last minute to accompany a friend. The weather was perfect, the bus comfortable and the tour guide, Megan, super enthusiastic and friendly. For those trying to pack in numerous activities in a short time, don't be put off by the length of time the tour takes. The scenery is spectacular and the bus stops a number of times for photos, loo breaks, a picnic, an optional LOTR character dress up (I declined - lol!), and a quick stop in Glenorchy. The tour is casual and small, so chatting with fellow visitors is interesting. Would highly recommend and thought it was well worth the time and money.

Our guide was Erik who is nice and very knowledgeable of the different places we went to. Apparently he is also very knowledgeable in local plants. I have learnt a bit about different local plants in New Zealand! Erik also shared his personal story of running away from a potential volcano explosion during his skiing with his family which was exciting and fun.

We went to a number of places including Bennetts Viewpoint, Glenorchy, Paradise, a spot where we can see Remarkables from afar and also two Lord of the Rings spot. We also had tea in one of the Lord of the Rings spot. Food is good.

It’s a small group of 8 people and well paced. I had a relaxing morning and would definitely recommend someone who is travelling solo without a car to join the tour as there is no public transport going to Glenorchy.

    Happy holiday.

Breathtaking views. I enjoyed the scenic sights and Kiwi style morning tea. Our guide Holly is accommodating and friendly. She's an expert in sharing local stories and filming locations. Also, she exerted an effort to contact/meet me after retrieving my sunnies (it fell under the back seat of the van). Informative and fun tour. It was a great experience for me.
